• Many years ago, there was a huge war between the countries of Felinia, Caniku and Morstrum. Morstrum was a country brimming with life forms bearing superior abilities in almost every field you could imagine, Caniku had started the war, being the ferocious animals they were and Felinia was a conglomeration of felines with super natural powers. The war was referred to as the Triterranian Interlock. The war began because of the fact that they had all three discovered a long lost civilization filled with treasure and discovery in the center of the triangle. Each one insisted that the property was all hers, so war broke out over the region. One family in Felinia, the Kuroki family, was working in the field of medical sciences when the war came along. They were called apon by the king to help support the troops in battle, but sadly, on the way to their destination, they had discovered that they would be having one single son very soon. Not the best of news for now. 'We'll keep going, but we'll travel safer..." they thought as the trudged onward. Just a week before they reached Fort Hinotori, the kitten was born. The two thought they would be able to train him in the medical fields, so they gave him one of the best names, Atsuhiro. They took him with them, but as soon as they reached the Fort, they were too late. It was already in flames so blistering and foreboding, it seemed as if the night sky were blood itself. They hid Atsuhiro from danger and attempted to surprise attack a group of enemy soldiers to buy some time for those who could still escape alive. But to no avail. They were slain by cold steel blades in the attempt. The night passed, the fire died, the enemy left death in their wake. Atsuhiro was alone. Someone found him much later, cold, starving and deathly sick and took him home. He was raised in a Geisha House, but not taught to BE a Geisha, no. He was taught mannerisms, and when the time came, he would be sent off to a school for the Samurai. He was sixteen when the sun rose again and his eyes opened half way. 'Its time for my first day of school, isn't it?' he thought as he rolled off of his futon while rubbing his eyes. He yawned and sat up for a moment, then fell down to the tatami with a thud!. Several Geishas peered into his room from the hallway, wondering what caused the disturbance. "That surprised me!" giggled one Geisha. "You're so clumsy." said another. "Yeah! That I am!" smiled Atsuhiro as he rubbed the back of his head with his hand. Embarrassed, Atsuhiro picked himself up and took off to the little creek to wash up. As soon as he finished, he scattered off down the street and went on until he found the school. He entered quietly so as not to disturb the classes currently going on. "YOU'RE LATE!!" yelled the teacher when she found him wandering in the halls. "S-Sorry, ma'am!" he took a deep bow and froze in that position for fear that if he got up, he would get smacked around. "The name is not ma'am, its Kyoko!!" she paused and looked him over."Just get into the classroom..." she sighed as she calmed down a bit. "Y-Yes Kyoko-san!" Atsuhiro fled into the classroom and hid himself among the students who were practicing. He was thinking of how he got yelled at... Kyoko's long pink hair almost reached the floor and her red eyes looked so annoyed... Scary. At the same time, Kyoko marched in thinking of how scared the kitty appeared to be. Messy silver hair, huge red eyes and if it weren't for that goofy smile on his face that had been replaced with a quivering lip, she'd have thought he was emotionally corrupt or something. But now Kyoko had a new question. She was fifteen and this kid looked her same age, but she knew she couldn't guess based on just looks alone. Atsuhiro continued sparring with the other students while he thought, it helped him a little bit in thinking. The same thought occurred to him as well. 'How old is Kyoko-san?' he thought 'She can't be old enough to be a teacher...'. A wooden sword came and attempted an uppercut in Atsuhiro's face, but he blocked with the bamboo stick he had found along the way somewhere. He held it off for a minute and then forced it off and backed away as the call for release was let out. He forgot to look where he began walking after, too. He bumped into Kyoko by accident. "Ow!" yelled the both of them. "Watch where you're going! You're already making me seriously concerned whether you'll live another day or not." Kyoko's eyes lowered into that annoyed look once again. "G-Gomenasai!! I'll try to be more careful now, Kyoko-san!" Atsuhiro smiled frantically. "Its okay... I just don't want another student dead on my hands." Kyoko sighed. "A-Another???" Atsuhiro had been startled by this random clue. "I shouldn't talk about it. Hey? How old are you, anyway, kitty?" Kyoko asked. "I'm sixteen. And you?" he smiled easier for the better change of subject and the better mood. "I'm fifteen. I-I know thats not the right age for being a teacher, but I got liscenced early on due to my skills with the katana..." Kyoko was a little red from bragging like that. "Thats awesome!! Congratulations!!! I'm sure to be the best there is, now!!! I got the best SENSEI there is!!!!" laughed Atsuhiro. Kyoko nudged his elbow very harshly out of embarrassment. "D'ow! What was that for?!" Atsuhiro grimaced. "YOU'VE still got a long ways to go!" Kyoko stuck her tongue out and took off down the street with Atsuhiro running just behind her...
