• The way I see it
    It's so far away
Where all the oldies were once held
Will I ever see it one day?

Old friends used to come and go
They used to see it stand and mingle
    As soon as Christmas comes
I can remember its very own jingle.

So far, yet able to remember
    A thousand miles
That was where I once originated
That was where I remember all the million smiles

If only I can go back
If only I can see it once more
My new home gives me the reminiscence
Nothing I find in my mind really sore

    I see its face
The old place when I was a child
The perfect home many years ago
Everything is not too old, nor too mild.

    I miss those great times
    Everything flies by
    Where is it now?
The way it is, I feel so sly.

    Far from home
It's where my childhood will stand
The perfect white house, so small
I used to view it as grand.

    Look at me now
I'm meant to be far away
    I will never forget it
I will come again and see it one day.
