The anime Naruto is just... so-so.

It's not full of excellence, neither is it so terrible you can put it in your personal Hall of Shame.

In fact, when I watched Naruto I could imagine myself being a ninja and throwing a Genjutsu on someone. Nerdy, but heh.

But the thing is you see, Naruto is so full of fillers that don't even have good arcs anymore. I'd watch up until about Naruto Shippuden and then quit. razz

Watch the OVAs and the Movies though, they're pretty awesome.

I really don't think so. I tried to watch a few episodes of it subbed, even, to see if my opinion of it improved, but it only helped it a little. I don't hate it persay, I just don't really have an interest in it.

Because the fans love ninjas. But some may find it good for other reasons like probably the plot. I don't know.

Go for the Manga. To many fillers in the anime. The story is compelling if you keep up with it.
