new msn (it won't let me login)

right, right forum this time.

I have a problem with msn. it won't let me log in.
the first time this happened was when it just came out. I downloaded it as I haven't had any problems with it before (and because it wouldn't let me log in unless I did). so it downloads, I try to log in and it just FAILS. I was exasperated for a week, and feeling isolated as I usually talk to friends through this, arranging meeting times and stuff. eventually I found a way to get the old version back (as in, the one before).
the second time I thought they'd fixed it, as my friends had all downloaded it no problem. downloaded it, same problem same fix.
this time it's like the first time. it won't let me log in the first version unless I download the second. the second doesn't log in at all.
it even froze when I tried to send the error report D: taking the error report with it.

so please please plsease any help would be VERY much appreciated. I'm honestly at a loss. I would ask my technologically genius friends, but I need it to do so >.<

It seems there are a boat load of people having this problem. MSN put out a bulletin about it saying that you might need to delete any registry entries for the program after you uninstall the program, then try re-installing. But it's not working for some people, it's worth a shot though.

hiya! i have the SAME problem!!! omfg! i feel happy im not the only one! but i have a question; does something happen to pop up and say something about the "communication platform" has stopped working?

atleast thats my problem >.<! if it is, i have someone coming in some time like next week or so to try and fix it.. if they figure it out i can try and give yew some info then?

I downloaded the newest msn when I got the internet back, but for my email, it wouldn't let me because I have parental controls on it. Sucks a lot. I'm 13 and the dang thing is so annoying.

As for this problem. I would not know how to help. Sorry.
