Hello there, I am looking for Third Culture Kids!

If you wondered what they are, a brief explanation is that they are often of multiple nationalities and have lived in often many countries, most of the countries they have lived in are not any of their nationality countries. They do not belong to their home culture, neither to the culture of the country they live in, they develop a third culture ^^

I, for example, am from Sweden, with German roots. I have lived in Sweden and Switzerland and now I live in Belgium and go to a European school in Brussels. This means that there are loads of people of different nationalities at my school, and you mix with everybody ^^
And yes, all students can curse in all languages whee

Sooo... anybody?

I'm not quite a kid anymore-
I went to an International school when I was younger, but it was rather short lived.
That was the end of my international experience before I chose to get my BA in Switzerland at a school with dual accreditation.
For the last three and a half years I've gone to school with others from a load of other countries.
I'm marrying into a Turkish-Swiss family now, though, so that throws a whole new cultural dimension in.
My life is a mix of Americana-Turko-Swiss-Italian.

Best Birthday Present EVER Award to you, Dan, Thank you !

Not me, but my best friend. She is ethnically Japanese, was born and raised there until she was about 10 years old. Then her father got an overseas job in the US, in which she stayed for 1.5-2 years. After that, she went back to Japan for a year of Middle school before her father again relocated overseas to Australia. =) Then she stayed at my international high school for 3.5 years. =) Now she is back in Japan, and about to attend Keio Gijuku Daigaku next year. x]
