longer tops (like tunics) are good for hiding hips, so long as you balance it out on the bottom with some great shoes (like those boots) that draw attention downwards. layering tops is cool too, just be careful about layering a shorter darker top over a longer lighter top because that creates a highlighted line around your midsection that could make it look wider.
highwaisted dresses and skirts look great on everybody, especially if you have some hips because it creates an hourglass figure that makes your waist look teeny tiny. i think you could probably wear those boots with just about anything and they'd look great. rooster tunic at edge of urge bicycle dress at edge of urge super soft wrap dress at edge of urge (comes in a bunch of different colors) |

i think they look good with pretty much anything... my fav is with a skirt and knee highs tho.

Edge of Urge has got a lot of stuff from indie designers, a lot of it's on the pricier side but there's a few brands that aren't quite as expensive (though i suppose it depends on your definition of expenisve). less expensive shoe brands: pink studio (updated 50s style shoes), melissa (jellies, some newer styles are made from recycled older styles)... loyal army has a bunch of cute tees that aren't incredibly pricey
