Solid Ground (Open RP)

[Tereney]

-Silentkit sniffed the leaves and stood there for a moment staring at them.- "Uhh... I don't know...-He replied and stood there looking at Moonpaw.-

 

[Kanya Willow]

Ivystar tilted his head and sniffed the air opening his mouth to smell it better. He caught the scent of fox but it was hard to determine whether it was new or old. The tom stepped forward and bit and sniffed the leaves. "I believe it's old." He commented. But then he caught the scent of a mouse. It was a fresh trail so he flicked his tail motioning to Sunpaw. Before he had taken two steps he saw the mouse shuffling in the undergrowth. He lowered himself into the proper crouch and took a few more steps forward. After a moment of targeting the prey he jumped and landed on the mouse killing it with a swift bite to the neck. He glanced back at Sunpaw before burying it beside a tree. "We can come back and get it." Ivystar said.  

[Kanya Willow]

Ivystar nodded. "Of course you can. It takes a bit of practice but you will get it." He said before sniffing the air once more. "Come one I think I smell some more prey." He said flicking his tail in the direction of the prey. "Do you know the proper stances and such? Such as when hunting a rabbit you have to step lightly so that it won't feel the vibrations." The tom asked looking down at the apprentice.

Ooc: Okay yeah I forgot the correct stances and such. >.< So if it's wrong please ignore.  

[Flaming Cupcakes]

Onyxwind had sat down and sighed, his paws prickling with the cold.
He watched his apprentice with a gentle gaze, watching intently.
His silver pelt shone in the glistening white snow, his sapphire eyes looking out.
He stood up and put away some cobwebs and some catmint he had collected while out, making sure the supply of catmint was high, as this was greencough season.

 

[Kanya Willow]

Ivystar purred. "Good job." He praised the apprentice. "The clan will have plenty of fresh kill tonight." The tom added with a quick glance around. Now to see if there was any more prey wandering around.  

[Tereney]

-Silentkit trotted toward the farthest,darkest corner of the camp and lay there. He watched all the other kits and queens and apprentices and warriors playing or training. He wanted to do that. That's all he'd ever wanted. But most of the cats rejected him. He didn't understand why.. He wanted to know though. All he wanted to know was why every cat didn't want to be near him or with him..- "Hmmm.." -He just sat in that spot and watched for a while.-
-Later he trotted up to Ivystar to ask him why all the cats hated him.- "Ivystar? Why do all the cats hate me?" -He mewed, scuffling his paws in the dirt and looking down.-

 

[Kanya Willow]

Ivystar tilted his head slightly looking down at the kit. "Why would you say that? I don't hate you and I doubt everyone else does." The tom replied.  

[Kanya Willow]

Ivystar nodded and leaned down to touch the kits shoulder. "Don't assume things. No one in this clan hates you." He said turning back to Sunpaw. "I'll need you back in the clearing later. Since you need a mentor still." He added flicking his tail slightly. "First we'll catch some more prey though. Silentkit, you need to go back to camp. You'll be missed." The tom added nudging the kit before looking around. "Why don't you take a piece of prey back to the camp? Sunpaw and I have caught some. You can take a piece to the elders den, they might tell you a story if you ask." The leader added padded back a little ways to bring back the mouse he had caught earlier. "Here. This shouldn't be to heavy." He said setting it in front of the kit.

((Yeah I know. That's kinda why I haven't been on in a while... There just aren't enough people posting. XP))

-Silentkit looked up at the leader of his clan and nodded, taking the mouse and running off to the elder's den.-
