Snowfern yawned and walked into camp, her body tired from hunting and doing patrols all day.
She didn't really mind though since it helped the camp. purring softly to herself she walked over to the fresh kill pile and selected a small squirrel and laying down in the middle of the camp to eat.

Fallenstar padded into camp completly exaughsted. He had been hunting the whole day. Snatching a mouse from the fresh kill pile he went and sat next to his deputy Snowfern "Hello. Mind if I eat with you?" he said with a smile.

gentlefrost padded out of the medicen cats den and rushed over to fallenstar.
"Falledstar! Can you send a warrior out to fetch more catmint? Stormpaw just got whitecough!"
She bowed her head silently, the news of her own aprentice having whitecough shocked her, but she knew she had to stay strong
"This is terrible. I have five whitecough cats and no catmint. Is this a sign from starclan I am not ment to be medicen cat?"

Fallenstar shook his head sadly. Another? "Yes. Your choice, just find someone who is done eating." he said. "No. You are an amazing Medicine cat." he added.

"My own apretice caught the whitecough. This doesnt look good." She padded away to a cat and the cat went to find the catmint. She refused to eat and passed the fresh-kill pile to the den to take care of the two kits, one warrior, a queen, and stormpaw. She gave what was left of her storage of catmint to the kits in small doses.

Thistlekit let out a squeal of happiness from the nursery where queens were struggling to clean the kit. He wanted to go out and play, but the queens wouldn't let him until he looked decent.

Thistlekit bounded after Gentlefrost. "Can I help?" He squeaked, looking up at the medicine cat with wide, pleading eyes. He wanted to help all the sick cats. He didn't want to be a burden.

Gentlefrost held the kit down while the queens washed him. Once the were done she headed back to her den. She continued to help the whitecough cats until she herself was coughing harshly.

Snowfern looked over at Fallenstar and dipped her head in greeting.
"I need someone to come hunting with me later... Would you mind?
Her voice was soft and calm, but there was evident worry in her eyes.
She was constantly worrying about the whitecough, even though she knew gentlefrost could do her job.
Finished with her vole, Snowfern stood up, brushing against Fallenstar and walking towards the camps entrance.
She turned her head to look back at him then sat down to wait, wondering if he would join her or not.

Gentlefrost coughed more and more. "No thislekit. Go back to the nursery." She grabbed the catmint from the warrior and gave some doses to the kits, the warrior and the queen. By the time she reached Stormpaw, she was too late. "STORMPAW!" She yowled in pain at losing her aprentice to whitcough. She bowed her head silently. "Thistlekit. Can you go fetch for Fallenstar.... please." She grabbed Stormpaw's scruff and carried her out to the clearing. She bowed her head and layed by her lost aprentice. She layed down by Stormpaw and barried her nose in her fur. "Oh Stormpaw. I am so sorry. I wish I got to you sooner." She closed her eyes and prayed that Stormpaw was somewhere in starclan watching over the clan. She stayed there all night long with her aprentice. When the elders came to barrie her, she went into her den, coughing harshly. She padded out to find Fallenstar. "FALLENSTAR!" She yowled. "We are going to need the help of another medicen cat. I am unable to carry on. For I, to, have been struck with whitecough." She coughed and headed back to her den.

Eagleclaw tossed and turned in her sleep, she could not help but worry herself half to death about her clan. She woke up yowling a long, painfull, ear splinting yowl. Her fur was covered in sweat and tears. How am i supposed to help my clan? My injuries..... She winced at the thought of her last fight (alone) with a large rat..... I cannot be of assistance to my clan..... She got up out of her bed and padded silently and sadly out of the camp Where will I go....? What will I do....? I guess I could be a rogue..... Tears welled up in her amber eyes.... As she left her clan.....

Gentlefrost sent out a cat for Lillywish. She hoped Lillywish would also bring Shinestar. She missed Shinestar, and was anxious to see him again. She thought of his as she padded to her den and layed down coughing badly.

Eagleclaw stopped dead in her tracks, she sniffed the air and smelt Lillywish, her eyes got wide and she ran, she hid in a bush waiting for some cats to pass her by.

Gentlefrost coughed and coughed. She felt weak and could not take care of herself. "I am going to die." She muttered. If only I could see Shinestar. That way I could have atleast have seen him... before I die.... if I die... and most likely will.
