"No no no this type won't do!......Maybe this with hmmm this....Yes, this is a start.......Hmmmmm, it's deadly but its way too slow." Artemis usually spends her time with her sisters, but when she's not you'll be sure to find her here cross breeding and discovering new plants & poisons. She already created multiple plants to help her in battle and everyday life. Her favourite creations are two flowers completely opposite of one another. One will cause someone excruciating pain and if not treated in time semi-permanent paralysis, while the other is very soothing and has some healing properties. Also, it's the only antidote for the semi-permanent paralysis. Artemis's current "project" is a revenge poison, ever since her father died Artemis made sure she has an answer for every dangerous situation. "Yes, it's so beautiful.....OH MY GOD!!!!" Artemis screeched in joy, as she plucked the flower from the pot, her voice echoed through the greenhouse and every flower and plant turned around to face her. "Look, guys, I'm almost there! Soon you'll have a new sibling."

The greenhouse was a building Tristan scarcely visited. It was usually too damp or humid for his papers and books, and, wherever those went, Tristan followed, technology be damned. Classes were to start in the following days however, and he thought it appropriate to make an inventory of all the plants and tools present in the greenhouse pre-student stampede. Accidents were very common in Videl, and it wouldn't surprise anyone if half of the greenhouse disappeared on Day 1 of a new semester.

"Look, guys, I'm almost there! Soon you'll have a new sibling," he heard just as he opened the door to the dimly lit building. The voice appeared to belong to a girl, and she seemed to be talking to some company. Curiosity piqued, Tristan poked his head in and cleared his throat behind the clipboard he was holding, not wanting to startle anyone and risk losing a limb.

"Sorry to interrupt…"he started, but paused. He had expected a small gathering of students or even staff, but only saw a young girl around his age fawning over a plant he could not identify. He vaguely thought that he may have seen her before as she was very likely in the same grade as he, but Tristan wasn't the best at remembering faces, even pretty ones, let alone names. Deciding to forgo introductions in case they had already met each other in the past, he instead asked, "What are you doing here alone and unsupervised?"

He squinted at the plants surrounding her, noticing that most of them were anatomically similar to those he was supposed to catalog, and more than a few were categorized as extremely dangerous. It looked as though this wouldn't be an easy chore.

Artemis went back to work, she wanted to perfect her new discovery. "Maybe this will add the seductive scent...It'll draw the enemy. Then BAM!!" She shuffled through some seeds before she heard a voice coming from the entrance, Artemis didn't care who it was since she was in the middle of a breakthrough. "We just need to speed up the growth process....and Voila" Artemis finally has a prototype and now all she needs is a test subject. After a few seconds of staring at her creation Artemis got up and skipped towards the male, she gave him a very comforting smile before grabbing his hand and skipping back to her flower. "I don't need supervision here nothing her will harm me, I'm like a mother to them. But that's not important right now, I need you to do something for me, I want you to pluck this flower and take a bite out of it." Artemis was very excited to see the effect of her new poisonous flower. She looked at the male, then at the flower then right back at the male. "It should cause you.....Extreme discomfort, then lead to death. Don't worry though I'll give you the antidote, I just want to see the effect of my little project."

Tristan did not resist the insistent pull and let himself get dragged towards the patch of unknown plants the girl had been fussing over, mentally taking note of whatever he could see while the other senior started babbling about something he clearly wasn't paying too much attention to. Half a dozen belladonnas, three plants of mandrakes, two kilos of arcane fertilizers… He was starting to notice that the greenhouse was quite low in terms of specialized soils, but on the bright side, no equipment was damaged.

It was only when Artemis' skipping came to a halt that Tristan redirected his attention back to what she had been saying. "Huh?" She looked back and forth between him and another flower plant that he could not identify. He frowned and took a quick glance at the clipboard he had been holding onto with his free hand. "Wait! That does not look like anything listed in the greenhouse's inventory of living plants." In fact, some of the listed plants were missing. He was starting to add two and two together. Clearly this wasn't something condoned by normal school regulations.

But that smell…sweet, but not overly so and just with the right amount of fruity fragrance to have him subconsciously leaning closer to take a bigger whiff of its scent. It smelled…delicious for lack of better terms. Something that smells so good couldn't possibly cause any harm, he thought, only faintly registering Artemis mentioning something about discomfort and antidotes, and plopped the whole flower into his mouth.

The sweet yet savory taste in his mouth had immediately morphed into a bitterness as soon as his teeth cut through the cellulose membrane of the flower. It released liquid fire into his mouth and he yelped. "Is this supposed to be spicy?" he meant to ask, but it came out as "Zith thubozed d'be thpishee?" having lost control of the muscles in his mouth. In fact, he found that he couldn't even fully chew on the flower a second time, and was about to raise his hand to his mouth when he noticed his arms had suddenly become extremely heavy.

Then it hit him like a truck. The sensation of millions of fire ants nibbling at his flesh swept through his mouth, cascaded down his throat and spread downwards from there. His body's immediate reaction was to have him double over and vomit the content of his breakfast all over Artemis' workplace.

Artemis sighed when the boy continued to ramble about the damn inventory. "Who cares about the damn inventory at a time like this. We're discovering something new!" When Artemis is around plants she gets lost in her own world and nothing in the "real" world matters anymore. Artemis's face lit up when Tristan ate the flower she grabbed both his hands and squeezed them in excitement. She observed the symptoms and subconsciously squeezed harder with every effect the flower had. First the sweetness then the tolerable pain, then the numbness and finally the pain leading to death. "Excellent!!!! Great results, Oh my god we did it, we discovered a new deadly poison that will help this place. Now, this'll only take a second." Artemis pulled out a phial from between her breasts and popped the cork before slowly and carefully guiding him to lift his head up and emptied the content of the phial in poor Tristan's mouth. "This'll make you feel better, even better than before." The Antidote was a very potent dose of her soothing plant, which should cancel the poisonous effect completely and soothe the pain while leaving behind a very sweet after taste something similar to cotton candy.
Artemis placed the vial back where it belonged and kept staring at the man while smiling. "Why don't you give our creation a name, consider it a thank you for your....."Discomfort" " Artemis didn't know this guys name but she knew sooner or later they'll be very close friends. "By the way I'm Artemis"

It was a wonder that Artemis managed to pour the antidote down Tristan's throat when his body was doing its damnest to eject the content of his stomach and maybe his stomach as well in an effort to purge itself of whatever poison it had ingested. Nevertheless, the liquid acted just as quickly as the poison, numbing the pain and Tristan felt as though he could finally breathe and tentatively swallowed. Everything seemed to be functional, and he felt refreshed, as though he had just downed one of the energy potions stashed away in the infirmary. They were meant for emergencies, but everyone knew that they were mainly used by desperate students during exam week.

"Now, hold on just a second!" he finally said in a more assured tone now that he knew his throat wouldn't suddenly combust into flames. "How would creating a deadly plant help the academy? This needs warning labels. Think of the freshmen!"

His tirade was cut short by the offer of naming the plant as a tradeoff for his life-threatening experience. "Our creation?" he repeated. It dawned on him that he may have gotten himself involved with one of the academy's more….delinquent personalities and was now going to be associated to a fast-acting lethal new species of plant for the rest of his life. He grimaced, images of his ordinary future as an ordinary office worker being replaced by images of bubbling cauldrons where suspicious ingredients simmered appeared in his mind. At the helm of the long ladle stirring the toxic concoctions was Artemis, cackling in all of her maniacal glory as lightning bolts flashed behind her and thunder roared.

Still…she, present Artemis, was smiling at him expectantly after placing the antidote vial back…between her breasts! He looked away, immediately and mumbled a quiet, "Echidna. After the Greek mythological monster." It would have been rude of him to turn down such an honor when this discovery clearly meant so much to her. And he really didn't want to have her pour that poison into his morning coffee since he would at least be stuck with her at Videl for another year.

Artemis rested her head on her hand and started yawning, she was up all night working on her flower, and she was tired. She listened to Tristan lecture her about the plant and blushed while sighing, she thought his grown up mentality was kinda cute "Don't worry about the freshmen, sooner or later they'll learn not to eat whatever's in front of them." Artemis was slowly dozing off she tried her best to stay awake, but it was difficult. Artemis closed her eyes and instantly fell asleep with Echidna being the last thing she heard. "Yea Echidna, I like it."

Tristan watched, slightly baffled as Artemis fell asleep, almost embracing the plant in her arms. At least that meant he could finish his work here without interruption or potential fatal poisonning. It did take much longer than anticipated for him to finish jolting down what needed restocking and what was damaged, which thankfully wasn't much. The girl hadn't been overplaying her relationship with plants and she clearly knew what she had been doing, so he thought it safer to let her rest surrounded by her own creations. She had not stirred one bit during the few hours he had spent there, so she must have been very tired.

By the time Tristan was done, the sky had darkened and the afternoon had made place for night time. Crap. He had missed dinner time. Fortunately, Tristan usually kept some snacks in his room since it wasn't the first time he lost track of time. Eager to return to his room before his roommates found his hidden stash of chocolate chip cookies, the fourth year student rushed out of the greenhouse, barely remembering to close the door behind him so as to keep the climate inside under control, but forgetting his smartphone on a table behind the sleeping girl.

Yuki continued to crawl through the tunnel until she saw light, "I can see the light." she said to Tristan, in excitement to get out of the dark tunnel. She popped her head out of the hole and wasn't surprised to find themselves in the Greenhouse. She looked around and notice a girl with green hair fast asleep, 'Don't tell me she was asleep here this whole night.' she thought in disbelief. The rabbit hopped out of the hole before her but when she tried to get out there was a little traffic jam. "Sh**." she pulled herself up but unfortunately half of her lower body was still stuck down at the hole thanks to her hips and her wings still intact. She tried getting out(In that movement) but she let out a heavy sigh of defeat. She cleared her throat, "A LITTLE HELP PLEASE!" she cried out in assistance hopefully enough to wake up the green haired girl if that didn't work an invisible force roughly tugged on the sleeping girl's hair. At this moment she was now becoming self-conscious with her body.

Artemis was having a beautiful dream filled with rainbows, flowers, and sunshin. The dream was cut short when she felt someone pulling on her hair. Artemis fell of her chair and fell on her back, she blinked slow a few times before yawning and stretching her arms. "So uncomfortable!" Artemis started looking around, trying to find who pulled her hair."thats a weird looking plant" Artemis rubbed her eyes, to focus her vision which was a little blurry thanks to her drowsiness. She walked up to the girl and squatted infront of her. "What are you doing down there?" Artemis tapped the ground with her middle finger and the hole started to widen, while roots started wrapping around everything inside that hole before tossing what's inside out in the open. Artemis closed her eyes to avoid discomfort from the sun rays hitting her eyes from the door "Did you see who yanked on my hair?! I want them to try something a new flower type of.....Treat called the Echidna"

They had been blindly crawling on rough dirt for what felt like forever before Yuki announced that there was light, literally and not figuratively, much to Tristan's relief. More than once he had scraped his knees and elbows during their journey underground, but at least he wouldn't have to explain what the heck had happened back there.

A light spray of soft dirt thankfully alerted him that there was a traffic jam up ahead, and he stopped before his face was introduced to Yuki's flailing legs. "Wait, hold on," he said as he tried to find where her feet, and not her rear, were so he could give her a shove, but that wasn't necessary at all. There was a small rumbling of the ground surrounding them, and for a second he thought everything was about to cave in on them.

Instead, he was promptly flung out of the hole and dropped on his bum into…the greenhouse…where that plant-nurturing, witch overlord--memories of the day before were still very fresh in his mind-- had been sleeping. Had. And she was now offering Echidna again. Instinctively, Tristan backed away, almost running over the rabbit that had patiently stuck around. It let out an indignant shriek and vanished among the potted plant, surely watching them as a predator would a prey.

"Nope, no one pulled your hair, so there's no one to whom you need to introduce Echidna," he quickly said, adjusting his apron, the only thing he had been wearing, to make sure nothing too private was exposed. While he had healing abilities and could heal ailments that were not inflicted by magic, he had no idea what sort of ancient, evil witchcraft Artemis could have could have used on the plant. Eating Echidna was no joke. He wouldn't wish it upon his enemies, let alone another classmate.

Yuki was surprised when the hole grew bigger but she didn't to be tossed out. Unlike Tristan Yuki gently landed on the ground on her feet. Her snapped to the the retreated, "No. Sir Hops-A-Lot~!" she gave it a name on the and calmly followed the rabbit with her arms wide open waiting for it to hop into her warm embrace. She turned her head towards the blond in confusion when he lied about the hair-pulling.

Yuki mindless raised her arm, "His lying I did it. I tried to call but you were still fast asleep sadly I had to be physical either wise.
1. We would be stuck down that hole who knows how long and probably late for our lessons and have poor Tristan spend his day in just an apron, and have him on the front cover the school's newspaper: Boy Gone Wild on School Night.
2. You would be probably sleep here the whole day and miss class which will lead to detention and punishment. The people close to will be forever disappointed until you remedy yourself." There was no hostile in her voice, just her soft and gentle voice, which hold some innocent even though the words would come out as draggers. "Either way, I'm sorry." she gave the girl a bow of her head and a bright warm smile. She's not used to human communication.

Artemis saw more than one body flying
but simply focused on the girl, who landed perfectly. That's until she saw her perverted assistant in his birthday suit plus an apron. As soon as she noticed everything went blank as she kept staring at Tristan while blushing. A tiny nosebleed streamed from one of Artemis' nostrils. Artemis was getting extremely angry with her assistant. "How dare you?!! How dare you expose yourself to this beautiful innocent flower!! I need you to focus on our research, not other girls!" Artemis looked at Yuki and forced a smile. "Sorry about this idiots actions, I'll make sure he gets punished before the day's over." Artemis walked over to Tristan and twisted his ear before dragging him in front of Yuki "Bow and apologize you pervert!" Artemis was putting up an act she wasn't really angry with the treasurer, after all, she's a rule breaker herself, and this simply made her like Tristan even more. "You need more discipline training!"
