It was tough to construct something to help the cheetah out. But in the end, Vanish had managed to whip something up. It was a broad flat leaf washed in the stream, and he tied it with strong spider silk around the cheetah to shield the wound from incoming debris flying about in the environment. It looked silly but it was all Vanish could make when the cheetah kept biting into his leg wanting to play.

The animal bites you playfully as you work, but its injury has made it unsure of its own strength, and it bites harder than it intends. -1 HP Current HP: 06 - 01 = 05 / 30 Current Trust: 34 Section notes: 22 + 08 = 30 / 30 progress points 2d10 The first die represents the amount of progress points you gain on that turn. Vanish felt the n** again on his leg and jerked a leg, waking himself up. Half awake, he lowered his eyelids and squinted.
A cheetah. but it was not the one in his dream. It was his own companion, A Storm is Coming.
But wait a minute... when he was more alert, and awake, Vanish noticed a few more of them hiding in the bushes.
He walked towards them and they didn't seem to fear him but stayed cautious.
Where did they come from? Were they following Storm around all this time?
Vanish looked back at Storm with a puzzled look on his face. His companion, well she didn't know what he wanted and just purred as she rubbed her head against his leg, wanting his full attention to herself.
OOC Footnote Current HP: 05 / 30 Current Trust: 34 Section notes: Kin who wake up having successfully completed the dream will find that wild animals seem to trust them a little more on instinct for the next two days. They won't necessarily be friendly with your kin but they'll be less wary of them. Obviously, however, if your kin proceeds to attack the animal, that trust will be broken and the animal will react as normal.

You awake somewhere in the swamp, about a day's travel from wherever you ordinarily sleep. As you gather your wits you realize there's a suspicious amount of blood in the area - making the water in the area ruddy and the air smell like iron. There's a moment of surprise, or panic, before you realize it's coming from an animal nearby, nursing a grievous wound and looking over at you warily.
This could be an opportunity...
