Yeah, pretty much. Except I never did the whole "college party thing". The Kid and 20s definitely describe me. And the pushing 30 one definitely feels like me - at least I felt that way yesterday. I'm feeling a bit more upbeat today, so I should be able to make it to midnight with no issue.

Hello again. Just passing the time until I get off work.

I wish we had the holidays hours at my work for today too rather than just New Years Day. Especially since most of my usual tasks don't apply today because none of the medical offices are open, meaning no appointments to make rides or envelopes for.

My co-worker had posted a video of me singing "Jolene" while her friend played her guitar. I thought it would be lighting up with likes & hearts, and comments from my family and friends. However, it's been fairly quiet on my end. Many of my co-worker and her friend's friends have left comments and what not though.

Sometimes it's really weird what posts I do that get lots of attention and what becomes a complete ghost town. The posts that I just share for the heck of it seem to be big hits but the ones that actually hold significance for me seem to go unnoticed.

I don't know if that's just because no one's interested... or because of Facebook oddball algorithm on what posts it shows to people.

You can tell people are done doing the decorating portion of the event because there's barely anything going over there other than the late comers trying to finish everything before the event ends.

I was about to respond to a topic in the Cosplay sub-forum in the main Gaian forums, only to notice that it's been almost a half a year since it was originally posted. Clearly this sub-forum doesn't get much action.

The problem with many of the topics I come across in the main forums is that many of the posters write in a manner that doesn't seem to be on the same intellectual level as me. Like I feel comfortable posting here in Why Not because, while we may have different education levels, we all know how to have an intellectual conversation and not have it be just another bumping thread.

My Mom got me a pair of Sailor Moon-themed earrings for Christmas. It's the black crystal earrings that all of the ladies (and men too, I uppose) wear in Sailor Moon R. I absolutely love wearing them - wearing them right now, in fact.

And now my mind is brainstorming on which character from the R season I want to cosplay first to utilize the earrings even more.
