UNDERTAKER VS. ALEKS MASON

The wrestling fans had been hyped as this show progressed. Aleks Mason sat backstage somewhere, listening to music and performing a few stretches to loosen up his body and get himself ready for his match. A crew member working for TNW:R approached Aleks, who took off his headphones. The man/woman told him it was time for him to head towards Gorilla. Aleks would stop his stretches, and hand the crew member his headphones and phone, asking them to place them in the locker room. Mason then began to tighten his gloves as he walked towards the Gorilla Position. Aleks had walked, stretching his upperbody, into the place where the producers and Vince sat. He stood backstage, discussing something with someone there, hearing the excitement in the background from the audience. Mason finished up the conversation, as he began to pace back and forth, waiting for his cue to go out into the crowd. Aleks would grab a water bottle near by, taking a drink and then dumping the rest onto his head. He pushed his hair back, creating a slicked like effect. He began to mentally prepare himself, putting himself in a mean state of mind, as he was playing the heel. It was up to him to find new ways to get the crowd to hate him tonight. If they for whatever reason began to cheer for him, he knew he had to get them back to booing him. This was something Aleks was used to, working the majority of his career as a heel. Aleks' theme then began, only playing the intro. He stood in front of the black curtains, ready to push through them. When he got the cue from a producer, Aleks took one last deep breathe, inhaling through the nose, exhaling through the mouth. Mason pushed through the black curtains into the lights, cameras, and fans.

The theme song used by Aleks Mason ramped up, right before he walked out onto the stage with a very mischievous look on his face. The crowd was already booing him, causing an evil smirk to grow on his face. The camera caught the smirk, as the commentators made remarks of it being a cocky, or confident smile. Aleks' serious face returned, as the camera began to close up on him. For the viewers at home, they saw an occasional sign denouncing Aleks Mason, as fans expressed their dislike for this TNW:R superstar. A camera man stood in front of Aleks, pointing the camera right at him. Aleks then began to strut down the ramp, pushing the camera aside as he made his way down. Slowly, he looked to his left and right at the fans being held back by the black padded barricade. Fans, despite booing, extended their hands trying to tap the body of this larger than life character. Aleks made sure to keep his distance, not allowing the indecisive fans to touch him. "Making his way to the ring: From Las Vegas, Nevada.. Aleks Mason!" Mason would reach the end of the ramp, as he came to a stop. He looked into the squared circle, the place he felt most comfortable standing in. He looked into his home territory, the wrestling ring, with great excitement building up in his body. He fed off the crowd here tonight, who were doing a good job at sending their energy throughout the arena. Mason would then turn to his left, and would get a bit too close to the barricade. A fan had successfully tapped Mason's body, causing the superstar to stop in his tracks. He looked over to his left, and stared into the eyes of the excited fan. Aleks brushed off his shoulder, before turning his back and standing in front of the steel steps. Mason quickly moved up the steel steps, using the steel post to climb onto the ring. He placed his hand on the top rope, sliding it against it as he walked towards the middle. Aleks wiped his wrestling boots on the apron, before entering the ring through the ropes. He walked in the middle of the ring, where he stood facing the hard camera. Aleks beat his chest with his right fist, and then pointed up into the heavens.

Mason looked out the ring towards the time keeper area. He requested a microphone, which was handed to him in a timely manner. The music playing in the arena ceased, and Mason stood in the center of the ring. Aleks lifted the microphone up to his mouth, grasping it very closely to the top. He looked down to the floor before he began to speak, "I hear.. We've got a dead man walking tonight." The fans erupted at the mention of The Phenom. Aleks made a smirk on his face, before slowly looking up towards the hard camera. "And I don't mean your precious legend, the Undertaker. The dead man walking into this ring is yours truly." The crowd began to boo, out of confusion mostly. "Aleks, you defeated, you brutalized, you diminished, you dominated a former World Champion. Who do you want in the gold rush? Give me.. The Undertaker. To be the man, you've got to beat the man. But I don't want to be the man.. I want to be immortal. I want to be.. the Phenom. So tonight, I will defeat the Phenom." Aleks throws aside the microphone and backs into his corner.

 

[Demon From Death Valley]

The show would come back from commercial break, cameras scouting over the arena and chatter being heard in this very lively episode of iMPACT. The announcers would welcome the viewers at home back, while going over the card and what to expect (then again, you don't know what to expect in TNW:R). After the rundown, the crowd's volume would slowly decrease. As the bell rung 3 times and the ring announcer would speak over the PA system, introducing the beginning of the match.

A dark entity stood ready to make his entrance, making subtle movements like rotate his wrist. TNW:R personnel would give him a thumbs up, and return to his section. The Deadman would make his way to the big stage.


The PA system would come to life, a gong noise would be heard. Every fan in the arena knew what the sound meant as they got loud. The lights would cut off, the fans would respond by holding up little blue lights. Undertaker's instrumental would begin to play, which sounded like the sound of a graveyard. The titantron begin displaying images which lit up the stadium. The instrumental beat on, as flames began rising from the stage, at a consistent pattern and at a fast pace. A smoke screen would cover the ramp and the stage as a camera man would capture it by walking through the smoke. The Undertaker would make his appearance, standing at the top of the ramp his hat lowered, covering his demonic eyes. The Undertaker would sit there, taking in the atmosphere taking deep breaths. After sitting there momentarily, he would begin his legendary stroll down the ramp. His strides slow and calculated. The Deadman would reach the end of the ramp, stop, before taking a robotic turn towards the stairs. He would make his way up the steps, cease at the ring post. Raising his arms, which went in unison with the lights which lighten up as his arms rose higher until the lights were at the original mandatory lighting. The Undertaker would slowly walk on the apron, going in between the ropes and into the ring. The Demon From Death Valley would position himself in the center of the ring. Terminate his movement for a second, then would slowly lift his hat while he rolled his eyes to the back of his skull—his signature trademark. The crowd would get hyped after that, peeking in volume. The Undertaker would slide off his coat, and direct himself to his corner. The Deadman was ready.

Aleks now stood across the 20x20 ring from the legendary character, superstar, and deadman in the Undertaker. He was big talk a second ago, and very very confident. But now, with Taker in front of him, it was a much different story. He was mesmerized by standing in front of wrestling royalty. Aleks would snap himself out of it, gaining back his confidence.

The Undertaker stood across the ring, eyes set on a new face. The kid had showed he had heart and confidence among everything. The Undertaker was here for one thing though: TNW:R Universal Championship and it was a tragedy he would have to go through a young future star in Aleks Mason.

Aleks Mason would begin to move up towards Taker, knowing he toward over him in height he had to make the best decisions here.

The bell sounded for this one-fall match in the first match of the tournament. Undertaker vs Aleks Mason, which was sure to impress. Aleks Mason would make the first move, approaching Taker. The Undertaker would meet him halfway, emphasizing his height as he stood toe-to-toe with Mason.

Aleks Mason would back up a bit, before trying to launch forward towards Taker with a collar-and-elbow tie up, which may be a bad first move here tonight.

The Undertaker would gladly accept the tie-up, quickly being able to gain control and transitioning to a headlock. He would apply pressure on the hold, wrenching Mason's skull.

Aleks was quickly over powered, being placed in a headlock. He would extend his arms out, trying to reach for the ropes which were no where near by. Mason would then grasp the waist of Taker, before backing into the ropes and using them to try to throw Taker into the opposite sets of ropes in order to escape the headlock.

The Undertaker would be pinned against the ropes but when bounced off the ropes, Taker would look to turn it into his own irish whip.

Aleks would be sent into the rope himself, hitting them with his back and rebounding towards Taker

The Undertaker looking to set the tone earlier in the match and to show the fans at home the gap in experience at home, would attempt a swift big boot which was perfectly placed on Aleks' jaw.

Aleks would be caught in the jaw with The Undertaker's big boot. He would collapse to the floor. He quickly rolled over, holding onto his jaw

The Undertaker would connect with an explosive boot to Aleks. Turning around to find him shuffling around on the mat.The Undertaker would pick him up by his long hair.
