Atlas Vegabond
Profile

Having resurfaced from the deep depths of the large ocean, Atlas was knocked out by one of the strong tides coming in. Upon washing up onto the shoreline, Atlas's form began to change. His once scaly skin, now softening into that of a humans, where there were fins, now naked legs. The Siren had been only moments out of touch with water, and already his body is taking form to that of a naked human male.

The calming sounds of the waves crashing along the shoreline made Atlas wake with a grogginess as if hung over from drink to much wine. He held his head with his right hand, fingers getting tangled in his mossy green hair. Slowly, he opened his eyes, and pushed back the hair away from his good eyes to see where he had landed up on. But, with no indicators, he knew nothing of the sort. Groaning, Atlas tried to stand up, but quickly winced in pain, and fell back to his knees. The Siren looked quickly to the source of his pain, to see his ankle swollen and bruised. That, and he didn't quite know how to walk.....like, at all.

The tall orc raised a brow when the young purple girl entered the room. Have they met before, and is the reason for her friendliness? or is that by nature? His attention snapped back to reality when the little one joined in with the two, and back to his host who inquired of how to be assistance, only for the little girl to be asking if she could be......You're still with me right? Good!

Xago motioned his eyes to the stairwell before turning his head to meet with the attention of his companion from earlier. It seemed the conversation had peaked his interest as well, maybe the talking is what brought him back out here. Shrugging his shoulders, Xago went behind the counter, and began observing each be3verage that this fine establishment held. And, from what it sounded like, his companion wanted something strong, right?

Ah, Xago will figure it out. He began taking multiple hard liquors, and digestable concoctions, and began brewing his own form of...mead I guess you could say. Pouring the finished liquor into a large wooden mug, he slammed it down in front of his companion and smirked. "Drink."
Surely the Orc style drink might be much if not deadly to a human stomach.

He could feel his emotions raging inside him, as if trying to tear him apart. That is... until he felt an arm wrap around his curled up form, pulling him towards them. His head rose up as he looked over to who it was, eyes wide with shock. Then he heard his words, as his eyes fell upon Illyndrathyl's. His words. his eyes. They seemed all too understanding. As if he had gone through pain himself. Perhaps that's why he seemed so sympatheic. Jodan could feel the tears start to well up. He bit his lower lip again for a moment, not sure if he should cry or enough, despite Illy encouraging to let it out. His body shook a bit as he struggled. He never liked crying in front of anyone. He never liked having people worry about him.

And then finally, Jodan buried his face into Illy's shoulder, the sound of his wailing heard, tears beginning to stream out. His hands held a tight grip on Illy's sleeves, so that he wouldn't fall over. He could have said something, but he knew that if he tried to speak, the tears would spill out anything, and his words would have been a mumble. He was hurting inside, despite the relief he felt that Amara is going to be okay. It's not very often Jodan would cry like this, especially in front of someone he doesn't know too well. And even more so because this guy is a prince! He would never have dared to embarrass himself in front of someone of royalty. But with Illyndrathyl, he was feeling something different. He couldn't understand why he was feeling these things. Could it be that he's falling for the man? He could definitely feel his heart beating rapidly.

His crying settled down to sniffles and gasps. But he still held a firm grip on his sleeves. Would it be alright for Jodan to become closer to Illy? Then the image of Goruk appeared in his mind. He felt his body freeze. What if the same scenario happened again? He wasn't sure if he could deal with another heart break again like that. His body shivered at the thought, his grip getting tighter, as he seemed to bury his face more into Illy's shoulder.

Convel Lyall

Convel nodded his head as he plopped himself several feet in front of her to maintain a comfortable distance "Yep, mating season. My village likes to maintain some kind of balance so the men and women are separated so we don't overpopulate or something" he explained what the elders told the men in the village,
which made sense to some degree he supposed. The Lycan then looked at her and tilted his head when she asked him what he was doing here and he grinned a tiny bit
"No real reason, just curiosity" he started off "Like I said, my village is very isolated and had no contact with the outside world" Convel went on explaining himself
"And I just wanted to know what the world was like outside the village!" he finished explaining as he slowly began to feel a bit more at ease around his first woman. She wasn't shouting at him or hitting him, this was nice "What about you, what brings you here? Was it that man?" he asked curiously.

        Gurkiran "the Windbreaker" Talem
        ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂

A loud bang echoed throughout the room as the two men charged in. To Gurkiran's surprised and relief, Ichka was doing her due diligence and subduing the man without killing him. If he was being honest with himself, he thought his efforts to deter her from killing the men would be in vain, but luckily, that was not the case. Gurkiran proceeding to get involved as well. He swiftly cocked his left arm and got into a crouching position, launching a vicious uppercut directly in the man's abdomen. The man gasped deeply as the air was forcefully pounded out of his body. He began to crumple to the floor, as he wrapped both arms around his chest before collapsing on the ground, trying his best to recover the air that he lost.

The situation was under control. Thanks to the efforts of Ichka and Gurkiran, the men were quickly dealt with and the group placed them against the walls of the hut. After a brief moment of recuperation, Gurkiran decided it would be time to ask questions.

"Tell me, what are the two of doing? Before this man died, he told us that the chief betrayed us. Is that true? Are you guys working with him?" Despite the situation, Gurkiran remained surprisingly calm. In spite of the ruling emotions he can feel at the pit of his heart, he realized that senselessly spewing nonsense and making shallow threats were not going to go anywhere. Besides, these two could be completely innocent for all he knows. He wanted that to be the case. The thought of betrayal going on within the tribe, his own family, sends a sickening sensation of sorrow within his stomach. But he wanted to be safe. He had Lumis and Ichka accompanying him. Although he was confident in Ichka's abilites, he still considered her a friend and someone he enjoyed as company. As for Lumis, he is still unsure. Her entire being and existence was still a mystery to him, and he eagerly awaits what she unveils in the near future. However, his mind was racing all over the place, these thoughts can wait. He gathers himself again and proceeds to take in the response of these two characters.

The man on the left of Gurkiran, the one Ichka took care of, weakly looks into Gurkiran's eyes. It was obvious he was in pain, but Gurkiran sensed no hostility within his aura. "It's true... The chief did betray us, but no, we are not working for him." Gurkiran sighed in relief and continued to listen. "We out scouting for more individuals so we can travel together with them... Most of the people are either dead or have left the villages. This... "thing" going around... It's a plague Gurkiran...A plague put upon by witches... The chief offered us to the witches. This plague consumes it's victims, and we assume it benefits the witches in some way. The purpose is still unclear..."

Gurkiran is taken aback. Witches? Magical Plague? Personal Power? Why? His mind begins to race once more. This situation is getting more and more out of hand. Gurkiran is not really privy in the ways of the arcane, and Ichka does not really seem the type to know either... Then Gurkiran remembers his unknown variable. Lumis. He still senses her presence within one the corners surrounding the room and turns to her. "Hey Lumis, would you perhaps know anything about this?" He asks with inquest. Gurkiran figured he would take a shot in the dark in regards to this manner.

`·.¸¸.♡║It’s not necessary. This is not necessary. This was not necessary. The woman bit down on her tongue and she even managed to keep from thrashing about. As the medical people talked about this and that and where everything was, Amara just wanted to leave. Had she gotten herself another imp or something she could have just been fine. She sighed and closed her eyes. She highly doubted that Hiyama would help at this moment. Amara winced slightly when they began to remove the make shift bandages that the taller man had wrapped around her. From what she was hearing, the middle claw mark went in deeper than the others. She opened her eyes when she felt several small jabs along her abdomen. When she turned to look at one of the doctor’s she heard the word anesthesia. The woman assumed that she was going to get stitches. With a loud groan, she reclosed her eyes and made sure her voice was heard “Get me Sir Aeros when this is all done. It is a matter of life or death,” she fell silent afterwards, pretending to have lost consciousness. The life or death she was talking about was honestly nothing, just something that would make it sound urgent. Although her pain had become numb she could feel the needle going through her skin, and through those freshly made holes the sensation of the thread slithering through made her feel mildly weak.

Amara didn’t know what had caused it, but she eventually managed to ignore the disgusting sensation in order to fall asleep. In her thoughts before, she had hope that this would be over when she awoke again and that Hiyama had been informed of her calling.

Lumis watched in astonishment as Ichka and Gurkiran handled the two with ease. Her cerulean eyes lit up with admiration for her companions. If she could have the strength to do what they did then her chances of survival would increase dramatically. Lumis shook her head, sending invisible strands to bounce around. ‘This is not the time to get awestricken’ the ashen haired woman stayed in her spot, half forgetting the invisibility she had casted upon herself. The response the man was giving to Gurkiran’s questioning was tearing Lumis’s heart. The village being attacked and their people fleeing. She was only a child but she could hear the sounds of her people screaming in her head as they were dragged from their homes and then…

Her name being said by her male companion’s voice brought her mind back catching the question in time. She was silent as she attempted to put what she knew together, but unfortunately, she was not going to be able to give the answer, only a guess. “I can’t say with 100% certainty. My specialties lie with herbal medicine and healing but, it sounds like a sacrifice for a ritual for power or maybe a summoning of some sort. Or perhaps the deaths could be feeding something,” she paused “If it is only happening to your people then there might be something about your tribe that the witches’ need for whatever it is that they’re doing,” she stepped closer to the group making herself visible, her hand still holding on to the dagger she had pulled out “The best place for a correct answer would be your chief or the witches. If we can’t get to either of them…than maybe look for clues?,” her glance moved from Gurkiran to the two men “You said that you were gathering more people. Are any of the survivors showing any signs of illness?” Lumis couldn’t fight, sure she could take a hit and more, but she would rather be helping the sick and injured it is where she belonged.

The Angels were watching and Death will be waiting. Until the right time.

Reaching the castle grounds, Aliyah looked up to where her room's window would be and sighed heavy, she knew she had to speak with whats his face, and check up on that witch of a girl. But she was also worried for Jordan, after what they been through together, she couldn't imagine what he's going through now, and seeing how his friend, Amara was it? getting hurt the way she did.....Another heavy sigh escaped her. Maybe she should retire and find a suitor to carry on her families nobility......The Vice captain shook her head to rid of such thought! She must remain pure and untouched by any man or woman for that matter! Chasity for life! With her confidence rebuilt, along with its wall, Aliyah pushed through te large castle doors, and made way for Hiyama, knowing him, he would put up a fit before calming down. As she reached his location, she noticed him trying to wake the child up, and quickly cleared her throat to get his attention. "Don't!" Aliyah stopped, she has been a bit to far demanding......perhaps from being on probation she has been on edge? She'll need to talk to the elders about that....."Please......" She had her own temper to reconcile with as well, and thought best to not play this superiority game with him, but rather hope to be seen as equals. "I sent her to you in hopes you can find out the source of evil she brought down upon us......Many lives were lost today, and we lack funds for any further reconstructions......after what happened yesterday.......I want to take extreme caution with this. I hope it's not her but rather something else causing her to such lunacy.......So please.......Help me."

Her voice remained calm, and soft. She was more than exhausted to the point, she wouldn't have the energy to argue with him. However, before Aliyah could add on to that segment, one of her foot solders hurried to her right side, and whispered in her ear for a daily report. After dismissing him, she looked to Hiyama once more. "I have been summoned......But should she wake up, send for me. I wish to interrogate the child to see if she has any connection to that demon from last night.......Please.......and be careful." Aliyah ended with a bow of her head before dismissing herself from his company. She wished to visit Jordon before seeing the elders, and when coming across the medical staff, she peeked her head inside to see the young man being comforted.....a faint smile came across her lips to see that at least he wasn't alone. Unfortunately she didn't have the time for small talk, and left the castle, yet again, to head to the chapel wher she would meet with the grand court. Once inside, and escorted to the main hall, she knelt down on one knee, and bowed her head low, the only time he will ever bow this respectfully is to royalty of kings, and queens, and to the chantry in which she serves under. Once she was told she could rise, the crimson hair woman did just that, and began her report on the attack earlier, and that it is still uncertain that it has any relation to the attack from last night. She also stated that with this probation period of off duty, puts a damper in her ability to do her job efficiently, since her role as top authority has but cut down to almost none.

One of the elders held up his left hand to dismiss the thought. Aliyah made sure to withhold her tongue from saying anything further. The elder continued with how pleased he is to know the hard work she has provided, but disappointing that, against all rules, she disobeyed them by assessing the situation without permission, going against her probation period, and when she tried to protest, the elder slammed his hand down, which caused her to jump, and continued to hold her tongue. The elder sat back in his seat, there was a moment of silence before another spoke up. He mentioned that; despite the odds, she proved to contain the situation properly without causing a riot, and even though lives were lost, had she not been there sooner, many more might have died.......Aliyah didn't want to take the credit since there were others who helped in the process before her arrival......still...He continued with his statement, and decided, with all things considered, she would resume her work, and lift the probation, so that she may continue to protect the city. Letting out a quiet sigh of relief, Aliyah bowed her head once more before looking up to her superiors. "Thank you grand elder....I promise never to fail you."

She bowed again, and was dismissed from the chantry. Once outside, Aliyah sighed heavy, as if holding onto a breath for to long. Looking up to the evening sky, seeing the sun a bit setting into the mixed colors of blue, red, orange, and purple, Aliyah wondered where her Knight Commander is......and what's taking so long for the return......Did her commander die or?.....Sighing again, she looked to her solders before looking to the castle in the distance. Should she return? should she go to the pub and meet with that enchanting man? "What am I to Do?........" She then decided to head back to the castle, and do some paper work before the pub meet, better report in, and organize the files, should the knight commander return.

Seeing him sit down, Cairalei broke the lute close to her in a playing stance, but wasn't playing, instead, while sitting and listening to him talk, she quietly turned the instrument. The watched his expressions, and could see that he was feeling comfortable around her, just as she grew to feel safe just the same. The way he was explaining the mating season to her, reminded of her own clans version. A way to win favor with the females was a male had to go hunting, and bring a prize back, the bigger the gain, the better chances of wooing the female. But, unlike his clan, both women and men could walk along each other without concern of overpopulating. Cairalei wondered why it was for his clan thought, but decided against asking.

After finish tuning the instrument, she paused for a brief moment, when he asked if it was because of the man that she was here. She recalled first meeting him, how he was the first to not know the wanted posters plastered all over towns, world wide. How he didn't treat her like scum, and even offered her a sanctuary at the castle....the castle. Where she over stepped her boundary, and kissed him, and how he put her down, and back in her place, her place being an obedient slave.....a slave that she is on the run for. Her life has been nothing but unfortunate events of a vicious cycle. Was it her destiny to return as a sold off slave? Would it be safer that way?

Cairalei held the lute close to her as she forced on a smile. "No way. I just happened upon this place in my travels......He just happened to be attractive, who gave me a home, and I over miss read his body language.....so here I am." She chuckled a bit to herself. Even if the sting to her heart was fresh, she didn't want to give up on Hiyama. Maybe something happened to him, and that's why he has this wall placed up on him. Figuratively speaking of course. She looked up from the lute, and to her newly found friend, smiling softly. "I have to admit, I enjoy talking with you, I feel at ease when I do. Weird right?"

    • Illyndrathyl moved to wrap both arms around Jodan, holding the other close as he cried. A hand gently rubbed Jodan’s back in some attempt to comfort him at least a little. Illyndrathyl was glad that Jodan seemed to trust him enough to cry so openly. Illyndrathyl remembered the pain of losing his friend all too well, the way it felt as though something had dug its claws into his heart. The way his scream had caught in his throat and all he could do was run as fast as he could to catch the other as he fell. The way his friend had smiled weakly and tried to joke as Illyndrathyl held the dying man in his arms. The tears that fell against his will…Illyndrathyl put a atop to his thinking. He was reopening his own wounds, and that’s not something Jodan needed.

As the other settled down but continued to hold on, coming closer, Illyndrathyl did not dare let go. In fact, he had just realized how nice it felt to have Jodan in his arms. “I want to be here for you.” He said softly, voicing what was on his mind. He was in far too deep already, and it had been a simple hour. They’d spoken very little, but Jodan had charmed him; and after what had happened, Illyndrathyl wanted to stay by his side. “As long as you have need of me, I will stay.”

Convel Lyall

Now that Convel was not on edge his senses were completely acute as he sensed so much from the girl in front of him. He could tell that she was in pain, his animal like senses alerted him to the increased heartbeat and the way her smile was contorted. He tilted his head a small bit when she said that she misread his body language "It was just an honest mistake, why don't you apologize and explain it? The guy can't be heartless, I'll support you if you want!" he stated before now giving a full on grin, if he was in his wolf form his tail would be wagging right now "I feel the same! You're the first girl I've ever spoken too!" he stated happily, clearly very pleased that he just made a new female friend. he asked curiously.

The elf tilted her head to the side, taken aback by his blunt words. With a soft smile, she looked down to her lute. "That easy huh? Just apologize?" She scoffed at the idea. And when he added at how the man couldn't be that heartless, Cairalei looked up as if pondering on the thought, remembering some moments, mainly his temper, and began chuckling. "I would beg to differ, but I'll try at another time to do such." She added looking back to Convel with a smile. She appreciated his effort, but more so relaxed to be able to get things off her mind, even if they revert back to that.....one particular guy, Convel makes it easier to tolerate, I guess one would put it. She chuckled to his excitement, it was cute. Almost like a child about to receive candy. However, First girl ever? Really? "I'm honored to be the first than." That was appropriate to say right?

        ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂

As Horrin approaches the castle upon the back of a flying Elbrus, he cannot help but feel a foreign sensation of regret pouring into his heart. Can he really do this? Is this senseless destruction really going to accomplish anything? He grits his teeth as he recalls the gruesome image of Natrium's death before him. Like a daydream, he can see as Elbrus smashes her body into nothingness, leaving nothing but her cape as something to be identified.

He screams in rage. If only he could have been more powerful during that time. Suddenly, coming to that conclusion fueled Horrin's rage like a catalyst. The magic and evil energy flowing in his veins by Elbrus ignites into a raging flame of hatred. This world is cruel and remorseless. The citizens of this forsaken realm care for nothing else except their own selfish desires. In the end, who really cared for Natrium's death? Himself and... Phelan. In his pursuit to destroy Dragon Castle, he forgot that Phelan was still in acquaintance with them. This plunged into his heart like a sharp knife. He grips his chest as he thinks to himself, "I have to kill Phelan..." Horrin could not help but feel sick. All these chaotic emotions were eating away at him like maggots to a corpse. The only way to free himself from these emotional demons were to attain his goal of conquering the world. There will be no more senseless death, no injustice, and everyone will have a purpose.

Within a few moments, Horrin could see the structure of Dragon Castle in the distance. Although he was a mere minute away, his anger and rage has made him impatient. As soon as he was in range, he commanded Elbrus to launch a barrage of black fireballs as they continued to advance their arrival at the castle. These fireballs began to slam themselves against the stone integrity of the castle, causing a sizable explosion upon every impact. "I can't lose... Not when I have come this far... The only threat... Is you Hiyama." Horrin whispered to himself. Horrin hopes this preemptive onslaught would be enough to draw Hiyama out of hiding.

After a few moments, Horrin found himself hovering over the castle, ready with bated breath for Hiyama's appearance.

Jodan couldn't really explain it, but feeling Illy's arms around his body, and his hand rubbing his back helped him to calm down. The pain didn't feel quite as intense as it was just moments ago. The slight tickling sensation that he could feel on his back felt nice. He was definitely feeling something for this man. The image of him fighting, and the way he moved popped into his head. How graceful he looked, how he seemed like he was dancing.

Jodan slowly pulled away, looking up, his eyes meeting with the other's. His eyes were a bit red from the crying, and his cheeks streaked from the tears. His breathing was a bit shaky as he took deep breaths, to try and further calm himself. The look in his eyes changed, seeming like he had made up his mind on something. The words Illy had just spoken had brought this to his mind. "Illyndrathyl..." He spoke in a low voice, glancing down a bit, pondering if he should even ask. Asking such a thing from a prince is something one shouldn't be doing, but he wondered if maybe this is the right thing to. Jodan eyes darted back up to meet with his. "W-will you... train me?" He asked, his expression becoming a bit more serious.

He didn't want to remain in this state forever. He wanted to become stronger, and be able to help his friends more when it is needed. He wanted to be able to fend for himself and not always have to rely on others to protect him. Jodan's gaze held onto Illy's, and seemed to soften a bit. And without realizing it, he was slowly leaning forward. He kept leaning forward, until his lips had met with the other's lips. Jodan's eyes closed for a moment, then opened back up when he realized what he had just done. He quickly pulled away, his face bright red. "Ahhh! S-Sorry! I-I.... I don't know what came over me!" He began apologizing, turning his head away a bit, avoiding to gaze at Illy, fearful on how he will react.

        Six, the Plague Doctor
        ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂

Six sits comfortably within the confines of his room. The room is completely dark, only being illuminated by a small candle placed upon the left edge of his desk. The room is eerily quiet, with only the sounds of his quill scratching against a piece of paper and the amicable rhythm of his gas mask pumping every time he inhales. As he writes, occasionally he will glance over to his left to gaze upon his botany book. Currently, Six is gathering information upon a new kind of oil given off by a mold only native to the Land of Distal. This oil makes for a fine substitution for a chemical compound that he uses as powerful hallucinogen. The current component he uses in this compound is a poison given off by the Dreamleaf, but gathering it is quite the hassle and it is quite uncommon to find within the Wildlands. His contacts in the Crow Covenant do not admire going to the Wildlands, as it is quite dangerous and tedious for them to retrieve this ingredient. Furthermore, the price on it is quite hefty. Although Six does not mind spending a pretty penny for components to his work, the fact that he can save a bit of coin and time for an easy substitution appeals to him.

Six looks over his left should and sees Sanura studying him carefully. His apprentice was always curious of his actions and mannerisms. To this day, he still does not quite understand her motivations for joining him. To the common world, his actions are atrocious and heinous. Mankind would turn away from him, as he lacks any human empathy or compassion, slaughtering countless people, and for what? Even he does not know the answer to that question. The only conclusion he can reach is... because he was good at it. It filled him with purpose, and that was all that mattered to him really. Nevertheless, she embraced his teachings and made her skills noticed. For someone quite young, she does have a wide array of knowledge at her disposal. Many people came up to Six asking for wisdom, which he provided, but that was all for work purposes. At his core, he prefers working alone. It was quiet, peaceful, and less distracting. However, Sanura was different. She abides to his work needs and heeded every requirement he asked of her. Many people within the Crow Covenant saw them as: Father and Daughter. Six did not see it that way. That thought never really crossed his mind. He does not care for her at all, she just happened to be a great asset to him, and that is why he keeps her around. Even in this case, Six still treats her like a human being. He heeds to her calls and demands as well. Six always gives back. That is what the Crow Covenant taught him, and he upholds that code to the highest degree.

Six got up from his chair slowly. His legs struggled to get up, as they appeared to have fallen asleep. Six lost track of time like always, and several hours went by without him noticing. He walked up to Sanura slowly, observing her carefully as he realized that he took a long time researching.

"Girl, hopefully I did not bore you... I apologize for taking a considerable amount of time." He glances at his wristwatch before continuing. "It has been approximately six hours. Do you require food? How are you feeling? I want to make sure you are in prime condition for operation. We leave soon. We head to the Land of Distal. Is that alright with you?" Six says to Sanura.
