[Glorious Bobby Roode]

Until Victorious...

Bobby Roode would be seated in his locker room, sitting with proper etiquette after finishing preparing his gear. He would be motioned to come out of his locker room by a staff member and told that he had a short moment before he would enter the ring. Roode would stand by the entry tunnel, his head lowered waiting for his call to the ring. Tonight he would be leading off RAW and planned on making a lasting impact to everyone in attendance, he was The Glorious One and he wanted every ounce of Glory. Kenny Omega stood in his way, a guy with a very unorthodox style of wrestling and one very different from his own. Didn't matter though. This was The Glorious Era and Omega is living in it. Another staff member would tell Roode it was time, and he was more than ready to get things underway.

All the lights in the arena would shut off, except a single blue light that shed over the main stage.
A piano would begin blasting over the PA system, the intro in Bobby Roode's theme "Glorious Domination" fans would rise to their feet, cheering and waiting the charismatic Roode. Smoke would The piano would fade out, and a choir would sound over singing Glorious and the fans would happily sing-a-long. Bobby Roode would appear with his back turned and "Glorious" was printed on the back of his robe and fans would cheer loudly. Roode would turn around, spreading his arms out in the air with his head lifted up, immobile, and listen to the fans singing along. After pausing for a brief moment he would begin strolling down the ramp with his hands still raised. The walk down to the ring would take a moment, before he would reach the steps. After reaching the steps, Roode would take his robe off setting it on the apron. All the attention was on him and he preferred it that way. Making his way up the steel-steps and into the ring. Once in the ring The Glorious One would once again taunt to the people, holding it until his theme played out. Waiting for his opponent, Kenny Omega. He was a veteran, a seasoned veteran everything Roode did was because of his experience. He had over two decades of wrestling experience, traveling the world and beating the world's elite. He wasn't someone that could be just glossed over and Bobby Roode wanted to make that clear tonight, leading off the show was a perfect opportunity to prove it to not only Omega but everyone who was in attendance and his future opponents here in TNW:R. Bobby Roode would wait for Kenny Omega.

The arena was silent. Suddenly someone was about to come out, but then what happened
was the arena lights were shut off and some of the lights were pointed to the stage. Suddenly,
Kenny Omega's entrance video and music started to play throughout the whole arena.
The mysterious music played throughout the whole arena, as some of the crowd cheered,
but most of the crowd were silent considering Kenny Omega's entrance music was very
mysterious at first. It was displayed on the entrance video. "The Cleaner". Lights shined
brightly off the stage and around the whole crowd arena. The crowd was still silent, but then
Kenny Omega would then come out of the curtain as the crowd started to get up from
their seats cheering and booing for Kenny Omega, as it was mostly half-and-half.
Kenny Omega started to walk out the stage and shake his hands over and over. He
spread out his hands and then came out with his usual attire, and had his usual lollipop
in his mouth. He stared down at the camera for a second, but then looked away and then
continued to walk across the stage. Kenny Omega then walked to the center of the stage
and then started to taunt. He looked around the arena and then started to raise his hands
as the crowd was continuing to watch. He shook off his hands and put his arms down
and started to look up to the arena ceiling. He started to shake off everything, as he then
looked back down with a confident look on his face. He then started to walk down the ramp
and started to look down the arena with a smug face. The arena announcer then started to
introduce Kenny Omega to the ring, as he/she put his/her microphone up to her/his lips.
"From Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, weighing at 203 pounds...KENNNNNY....
OOOOOOMEEGA!" The crowd would've repeated the announcer in due to the
introduction for Kenny Omega. Kenny Omega continued to walk down the ramp as he
then started to raise his arm and made a "Too Sweet" symbol with his hand and
walked down the ramp at the same time. As the camera was following Kenny Omega,
he looked down at the camera and then two sweet'd the camera and then reached the
end of the ramp. He made a turn and then started to walk on the stairs. He walked
to the middle of the apron, and then got in the ring through the second rope. He looked
around the arena and then took out his little lollipop in his mouth and then threw it out the
ring, waiting.

 

[Glorious Bobby Roode]

Bobby Roode would rub his wrists, making sure his wrist tape was on properly. Kenny Omega was a strange character, one that Bobby Roode was very unfamiliar with. It didn't matter though he had been around the world facing elite competitors, nothing would be different here. Roode would wait for the bell to sound, glaring across the ring at his opponent.  

[Kenny Omega]

The referee would signal for the bell, as it rang. It was played throughout the arena, as Omega clearly heard it and started circling the ring looking across the ring from the "Glorious" Bobby Roode. He measured him very carefully and waited for his first actions of the match.  

[Glorious Bobby Roode]

The veteran would take this match one step at time, he was definitely in the feeling out process. Roode would approach Omega and offer a simple collar-and-tie.  

[Kenny Omega]

Omega was approached as Kenny went into the lock-up with Bobby Roode. With both men being very strong, Omega struggled constantly to overpower Roode. He eventually tried to switch thing up by quickly attempting to overpower Roode into a side-headlock.  

[Glorious Bobby Roode]

Bobby Roode would struggle with Kenny Omega, he had a surprising amount of strength. They would go back and forth before Omega would transition into a side-headlock.  

[Kenny Omega]

Omega would have locked in the side-headlock as Omega slowly walked over to the ropes and attempting to apply more pressure as both men were walking.  

[Glorious Bobby Roode]

Omega would begin applying pressure while making movements towards the ropes, but before they would reach them Roode would attempt to shove Kenny Omega against the ropes himself.  

[Kenny Omega]

Omega was quickly thrown to the opposite side of the ropes outta no where, as Omega ran to the ropes bouncing off of them and came back to Roode.  

[Glorious Bobby Roode]

Bobby Roode would have successfully managed to force Omega to the opposing ropes, once he came back Roode would attempt to follow it up with a running elbow. Knocking Omega off of his feet.  

[Kenny Omega]

Omega would be hit with the elbow and went down, but quickly shook it off, but stayed on the mat.  

[Glorious Bobby Roode]

Bobby Roode would try to keep up his pace of offense, seeing that Omega hadn't been that phased by Roode's elbow, he would attempt an elbow drop.
