EASTER 2015: EEE EGG EXTRACTION CYOA!

Jump Scare rubs his hooves together as the stack of waivers grows. Oh what fun everybody's about to have! As the egg hunt begins, Jump Scare leads you into the first room. He herds the herd into an enormous room full of pastel phony plushies. Adorable, super-deformed versions of Phonyland’s staff stare at you with black button eyes. The result is… unsettling, to say the least. There's something of the Uncanny Valley about these plush toys. “Ok everyone,” Jump Scare shouts, cupping his hooves around his mouth. “There’s eggs in here!” He picks up a Prowl plushie with a sparkly tendril of magic and gives it a snuggle, then floats up a Silent Quill and a Fireflight. Not the real Fireflight, though- he'd probably get in trouble if he tried that. “These adorable admins are helping me hide them- but beware, some of them aren’t so cute- and some of them have surprises! I'll let you all know when it's time to move on, so... may the best phony or human win!" You survey the room. It's a fairly normal warehouse facility; pressed concrete floor, high ceiling, good chance of toxic mold in the corners. The room has potential egg hiding places along each of the four walls, plus a central shelving unit with two rows of shelves.

Lavender Lemon was so excited to be at the Egg Hunt! She wanted to win as many eggs as her greedy child hooves could find, and with her wings, she was sure she'd be at a bit of an advantage for searching up high. Lav began looking along the upper shelves, her wings flapping, hoping to find some pastel eggs.

Right okay. So Moonstone Dazzle had absolutely zero idea how she'd wound up in an... egg hunt? With a pony? The details were a little fuzzy- there had been a friend of a friend, and there was some kind of waiver she had signed... but that was neither here nor there. For now, there was a warehouse and eggs to be found. Biting her tongue of any condescending comments, Moonstone decided to at least attempt finding eggs.

A pegasus nearby took to the air, and wasn't that just terrific? Moonstone DID NOT HAVE WINGS. Scowling to herself, she decided instead to search something near the ground that she actually had bias to. Any commentary on pegasus bias went pleasantly unsaid.

For the time being, she searched among some of the boxes.

Lettuce Sea moved slowly into the room, still trying to get used to the hover devices that allowed him freer movement. Looking at the concrete floors, he was glad he had opt for them, the floor look like it would had left him with an ungodly amount of rashes.

He turned his attention to the room itself and made a little high pitched noise at the tiny button eyes staring back at him. It was like looking at a large school of poisonous fish just daring you to accidentally bite their prickly poisonous tails rather then their heads.

Land phonies had very weird customs. Cuddling strange soft creepy versions of themselves, and looking for very odd shaded eggs. But that was why he was here, because it was strange, and new and just awesome! So he went on to look for the eggs, stumbling around a few bags.

Foxtrot giggled, clapping her front hooves together. "This will be so much fun, why it just makes me fee like daaaanncciiinnngg!" she cooed to herself in a sing song like voice as she scouted around for a good place to look. Spotting a human meander off in the same direction her first instincts told her to go, she did a pony tip tap move on over. "Ooooh, BOXEEESS!" she grinned at the human. This totally had to be a perfect place for eggs, right?!

Spear Mint watched Jump Scare with a slight smirk on his button-nosed face. Don't let the cherry cheeks fool you, all he was thinking of was that little bow-toe. He was sure the older phony was mocking him in that fancy tie!

It wasn't until he saw the others start looking around that he figured he should do the same. So, with a jaunt in his pigmy step, Spear Mint went to the lower shelves to see what might be there. He really felt there was no point in putting in too much effort...

Zen was excited to try out another game like the fantasy one, though this one felt a bit more ominous and...well...creepy for a celebration of Easter. Then again, he had 'died' horribly by spiders in the last one, so he could scarcely begin to imagine what this one would hold... (and he'd considered that last one fun!) The theatrics were impressive, even if the one performing them still made Zen's fur creep.

He noticed a floating (!!!) Phony heading in the direction he'd been interested in perusing, trotting to catch up to him. "Need any help?" he asked politely, using his minor unicorn powers to move the bags a little.

To say the plushies didn't scare Holly Mistletide was an understatement. She wanted to leave right then, but decided to be brave. She could do this! She was going to at the very least find an egg on this egg hunt in this... really creepy warehouse.

Heading to the south wall, she began to look through the bags, being careful of anything that could hurt her or get her stuck due to her merphony tail.

To be honest Rock Sugar was there for the candy. Well he hoped there would be cool and interesting Easter candy to find. But they were locking for eggs so he didn't know if that would be real ones or plastic ones. A lot of different phony cane out today for this including some humans. Rock glanced around and took in all the places he could search.
"Oh hmm..."
He decided to use his height and magic to help himself reach the upper shelves.

SerinaNight was about as excited as could be! She'd been keeping an eye on the Phonyland fliers for quite a while now, watching for their contests and trying to win a Phony of her own. So far she hadn't had any luck. She'd been gifted plushies a few times! Sadly she'd been out of town when the event to turn the most recent plushies into a Phony had come around... but there wasn't much she could do about that. She'd been under the weather for a while, so this was the first contest she'd been able to participate in in quite a while. Hopefully she's win a Phony this time!

...Hopefully.

She shook that thought from her head and tried to decide where to start looking. Serina stood for a few moments, looking around the room and staring at various locations for a few seconds before nodding to herself and deciding on the east wall. That seemed right. She generally had a better chance when she went with her gut, so she was going with it. Yup, this felt right. She headed off toward the boxes lining the east wall, hoping her gut feeling was right. Well, hoping she was reading it right anyway. Yah, that was what usually got her. She shook her head again. No thinking like that! She needed to stay positive. Besides, even if she didn't get that adorable egg, at least she'd have fun egg hunting.

Easter eggs? Chocolate? Some really awesome prize??? Of course Sal was absolutely psyched when she heard about the 5xE Hunt that was going on! Sure, the building looked kinda sketchy upon arrival...and the phony that was taking the sign-ups wasn't exactly normal looking himself but, hey what's the worse that could happen?

"Huh...'never seen so many phonies in once place before." She whispered to herself upon arrival, following the herd as they were ushered in. With silent amusement she would watch as the unicorn explained the event to everyone by use of both his own voice and a cast of dolls that he seemed all to excited over. But hey, they did look pretty neat albeit...strange in some accounts.

With a quick gander of the places she could look through, Salvo would ease on over to the center of the room and tap her front left hoof on the ground a few times, humming softly as she did. It was apparent that these shelves could be a place to investigate, and there seemed to be an assortment of bags and boxes along the walls depending on which side one chose to go towards. Once more she would cast her gaze to the tall object literally right next to her, shrugging a bit as she lowered herself down and began to investigate the lower shelves. "Hm...."

Yushika was not afraid.

Perhaps it was because of the years numbing herself to horror movies, or maybe the fact she found the strangest things cute, but right this second she was delighted to be here. Now, she was never one to enjoy Easter -- unless you count the fact she did enjoy the candy sales around this time -- but she did appreciate a good scavenger hunt. Her hands tingled and her eyes flicked back and forth, barely listening to the instructor speak. By the time they were allowed to move she darted towards what she say first, the north wall, already imagining the many eggs she'd hopefully find.

Heck, maybe she'd even give an egg to a certain little babbin she was slowly becoming fond of. Sweet Bread and Hard Truths wouldn't mind that... would they?
