Actually, come to think of it, maybe he should look into that and come up with some sort of plan? He did have time, and he was pretty sure the information was available in what he'd found already. Not to mention, it would make it easier to just go, get what he wanted, and move on. He could head to the gym, take care of the trial, get his badge, and move on. Having Cosmog2 to teleport them around was, obviously, helpful, but he wasn't sure how long it would be around, and after that, he'd have to go back to walking. Unless, that was, he could get Fly and have a pokemon transport him... that.... way....
... but then again, that meant flying...

Figuring he could look into that at the next location, as well as maybe contact his brother to see if he was doing any of this egg collection stuff, Adder leaned down to investigate a patch of flowers. He lifted his head when he heard Pichu give a squeak of excitement, and straightened to look over and see him crawling out of a little hole in one of the rock faces, an egg in his hands. Chikorita and Charmander both looked over at him, then exchanged a look. Adder hadn't been watching the group, but Cloud kind of had, and he could tell the two were a little uncertain about the electric pokemon. It had immediately started running and jumping and tumbling all over the place. If there had been any sense of competition before, Pichu's entrance into things likely amplified it...

Wow. Takumi left the cave of route 3 only to find himself facing a blindingly bright meadow of sunny flowers. They bent gently under a soft breeze; in the distance he saw three bird pokemon dancing almost hidden by the movement of the flowers around them. I never knew the world could be so...beautiful. It was unlike anything he'd ever seen, and at the same time just like home with its autumn colors.
Takumi had thought the world a boring place. He'd barely ever marched past the borders of his family's grounds and never felt the need to until recently. Ironic, that he had been so blind before and only now realized what there was to see. Thump. Hmm? Takumi glanced down, to where a lum berry had rolled into his shoe. He looked around, suddenly on edge, but he didn't see anything. Slowly, he bent to pick the berry up.
The second his hand closed around the berry's soft skin, a patch of nearby flowers rustled. Takumi gripped the berry hard, ready to chuck it at whatever was there. A trap? "Wharff!" A fluffy puppy hopped out of the bushes, tail wagging. Takumi's hand dropped like a stone. A...dog? "Arf rrfff!" It circled him, eyes going from the berry in Takumi's hand to his face.
"You want it?" Takumi held out the berry, totally confused. The pup barked adamantly and butted the hand away. Takumi's brief spark of irritation died as a new idea hit. "You- you brought it, didn't you?" The pup barked happily. So it was a- a gift? That was too weird. "Uh. Thanks. I guess." Lum berries were useful, but he'd never heard of a pokemon giving a gift before.
Before Takumi could do anything else, the rockruff had padded forward. It pushed up onto its hind legs and batted at where Takumi kept his pokeballs. "You...want...to be captured...?" The rockruff barked. Of course! He had wanted very much to be caught by a trainer, and was very jealous of all the pokemon he saw who came through with their very own one. He'd come to this meadow all on his own because many trainers came here, and picked out Takumi to be his. "Hmpf. I guess you'll do." Takumi, not knowing that the pup chose almost at random, felt touched to have been asked. Even if it was some strange dog, it had still asked to come with him; he'd never feel like he'd forced it along. "Welcome to my team, Micah."
Takumi decided he had had enough of the meadow- he needed to turn back and find his way to the city. It had been a long day.

Sitting back on her legs, Eline took a moment to collect herself. Finding an ample amount of Nectar was going to be harder than she'd thought. Glancing around, she tried to find what her Pokemon were doing, finding Sulfur nearby, his tail about the only thing sticking up out from above the flowers. Fluorine sailed above them, and Titantium was at her side. The Alolan Vulpix's shiny white coat sparkled in the sunlight. She was slow moving in this warm weather, being part ice she didn't take kindly to the warmth. Though, this sluggish movement made her appear even more alluring, which seemed to of attracted a nearby Pokemon. "Titanium, I think you have an admirer." Eline mentioned, twisting around to face the Vulpix. Titanium's ears perked up as she looked up, eyes widening. After a moment ,she looked back to find the Pokemon that was staring at her through the flowers. She seemed to frown, not entirely fond of being the center of anyone's attention, other than Eline's.

The Pokemon in question was an Oricorico, a yellow one. Other wise know as the Pom-Pom Style, this was the reason Eline was searching for the Yellow Nectar. Catching the Oricorico would solve her issue of finding the nectar, but at the same time, she'd already had one of the dancing birds, so it didn't seem reasonable to capture this one. Titanium in the meantime was staring down her admirer, giving a rather uncomfortable look towards the bird. It fluffed it's feathers, finally taking the initiative. Titanium turned to her side, walking backwards, lowering her head down as if to warn the bird. However, he didn't heed her warning and continued forward. If he wasn't going to listen to body language, then she had no other choice. Turning to face the bird once more, the Alolan Vulpix growled, summoning a hail storm that surrounded her and the bird, she then summoned up a spike of ice and launched it towards the bird, landing a direct hit to it's chest. It fell back, as if shot in the heart. Sitting up, it arched a brow, growling... in a suggestive way. That's when Titanium unleashed a snow storm, her Powder Snow attack. Finally knocking the bird out. With that Titanium's hail storm ended, much to the flowers thanks.

Eline rested back on her feet, smiling at Titanium as the fox turned back, her nose somewhat in the air. "Well, a battle means experience." The ivory-haired girl muttered. WIth a shake of her head, she stood up and motioned deeper into the meadow. "Let's try over there." Titanium looked back towards the fainted avian, giving one last huff before she started forward once more, leading Eline towards the area her trainer had mentioned. Hopefully she'd have better luck in a different area.

Further from other trainers, the area Eline chose was calm. Though, as the day drug on, the process of finding the yellow nectar was draining. Sitting back, the ivory-haired woman found herself soaking up the sun. Sulfur strode over, resting on a rock, stretching out his body before finally curling into a ball. "I guess a break wouldn't be bad." Eline mentioned, glancing over to Titanium who'd found some shade under a tall bush. Fluorine also joined the group, landing nearby Sulfur and resting down beside the feline. he didn't seem to mind, giving her some extra space before closing his eyes once more. Nobelium released himself, choosing to lay down behind Eline. Letting out the remainder of her Pokemon, the newest addition, Helium scuttled up onto her lap. To Eline Caterpie were quite adorable, and she'd somewhat ended up loving Butterfree for their beauty. Vivillion and Beautifly were also quite cute, but Butterfree would always be her most favorite.

Leaning back, Eline gently closed her eyes. Soaking in the sunlight. There was a silent moment before the white-haired woman opened her eyes once more, stunned at first to see someone staring at her. "Don't do that, Glaidias." Eline stated, leaning forward. The almost vacant gaze of Glaidias often sent shivers down Eline's spine, but she still adored her older cousin. "Sunburn." The woman replied handing over a bottle-shaped object. Eline gave her a look as if to say 'really'. "I'm fine, Glaidias." She replied. "I put some on already before I got off the ship. and I have a bottle in my bag." Glaidias crouched down, placing the bottle on the ground beside her. She hugged her knees as she pet Helium. Glaidias was also a fan of cutsie bug-types like Caterpie and the like. Eline wondered if perhaps, Glaidias was simply trying to find ways to tag along with her... back when they were younger, Glaidias had been like a shadow to her, until the older woman decided to pursue the scientific in-house research, unlike Eline was more of an outdoors person.

The conversation ended there. While Glaidias continued to pet Eline's Pokemon, the woman in question continued her search for some nectar. An impossible task in of itself. She wasn't going to leave the meadow without it. So even if it took a week she'd find it. She was followed around by Fluorine, who took to the air, perching here and there to check in on Eline. The bird wasn't entirely a fan of her feathers being changed, though she had at one time favored the look of the red Oricorio. It was a good thing it would only be a temporary change, and Eline had promised she wouldn't change her until she had all 4 types of nectar from each of the islands.

Meanwhile, lithium rested on the eastern end of the meadow, close to the entrance. She hadn't wanted to tread over the flowers. Her view had a clear look across the field of yellow flowers, of what they were called she was unsure. Lithium knew little about flowers. The forest where she'd grown up was scarce on flowers, housing mostly mushrooms or berry bushes. The berry bushes produced flowers, but often they grew on trees, not from the ground like these flowers. She missed picking berries and chowing down on them. It was a fond memory of her past. Beyond her memory of her childhood, there was a fair bit of her adulthood she recalled, but as soon as she met with the memory of her mate dying.. her head began to hurt. She couldn't think about that.... the memory was still far to painful.

Letting out a heavy sigh, the human-guised Zoroark pulled a heavy puff of the pipe she held. It was but an illusion, but the action had become a means to calm her down. A vice much like actually smoking on a pipe. She hadn't missed the stares she was getting either. Beside the fact that she was "smoking" she was also dressed up in a full on Kimono, complete with several layers and obi's, her hair was loosely placed up much like a Geshia's as well. It was no wonder there were curious humans looking her way, wondering what a woman like her was doing on a hot, sunny day in so many layers. Truth be told, she was fairly hot. Not because of the clothes, those were a mere illusion, no her fur was the issue. Thick black fur soaked up heat far more than she'd of liked. There didn't appear to be much shade, so she made due with what she had, a fan, fashioned from a folded piece of paper. It didn't really help, but it was keeping her cool enough.
