Following the little Pokemon with her hands folded behind her back, leaning forward slightly and seeing in no rush, it was obvious that the Togepi was working with much... much smaller appendages then she had.
Ad of course the patience would pay off! As the Togepi vanished within a bush, and came back out rolling and egg in front of it.
Faleen beamed and scooped up the egg "You were the luckiest thing to happen to me today!"

The Togepi trilled and clapped its little hands together the best it could.

"Got anymore?" Faleen asked with a grin.

Froakie, unaware of Faleen's success, decided that it was time to try for a higher elevation. there were several small trees in the area, and he should really give some of those a look.
Pulling his legs in close to him, Froakie pushed hard, leaping up and catching himself onto the branch of one of the young trees, pulling himself up.

[Daycare]

This was embarrassing, She couldn't imagine this ever happening to her, but sure enough. There she was, Zoroark, one of the top tier on Faleen's team, left behind in a -daycare-
It didn't help that Scraggy, clearly unnerved that he too was left behind was sticking so close to her side, he was practically standing on her foot.

He would ask her, hitching up his pants a little higher and looking around at the Pokemon that were also staying in the daycare.

Zoroark looked down at him, her lips turning down into a slight frown before she too crouched down, placing a clawed paw onto the Scraggy's head. That was bit of a loaded question, but she was sure she was looking into it more then Scraggy had intended.
Again she patted his head, to try and encourage him. Regardless of the reputation her team had, she did have something of a weakness for younger, smaller creatures who needed help.

Scraggy, tilted his head down, glancing around the padlock again. It was outside at least... from what he could tell it looked like it wouldn't be TOO hard to get out of there if he really wanted to, that helped a bit.

Spotting another glitter of colour Duke pounced, only to come upon a half eaten chocolate egg. After a moment of introspection about his personal level of class and standards and then a furtive glance around he pulled aside the excess foil and shoved the whole thing in his mouth. Class was all very well but when nobody was watching you chocolate was chocolate.

[Cassie, Area 2]

"Awesome, thank you!" Beverly's quick confirmation and instructions had her almost out the door in that very second, giving a quick wave to her partner before she paused to smile again to the two young men also present (Taavi and Jamie). The second guy's Lopunny especially got a smile and wave. The woman behind her? Well. Cassie tried to greet her, only to have the distinct impression the chick was... just flat-out ignoring her. Well.... ok then. No need to be rude...

"It's nice to make your acquaintance as well, hope everyone has fun out there! Oh um," Cassie paused as she debated how polite it was to say but continued onward with, "if anyone wants to go around with a partner, I'm happy to have the company!"

Cassie waited a few moments to see if anyone would take her up on her offer, a smile on her face either way, before she headed out.

Her trek was a slightly longer one, heading for Area 2--which, after looking at the map, she confirmed her direction and the fact it was the grassland and shrub area--with an excited spring in her step. She tried to keep her eyes peeled for any eggs.... well, and any possible things that might snag her feet, or pokemon!

She really did need to come up with an alias for when she was dealing with the public. Xeak shook her head to the question of a surname, not having one to offer with her preferred identification, though aware it was an odd marker. "No need," she stated instead, giving what she hoped was a nonchalant shrug before giving Victor a small nod of farewell as he was lead off.

When the other trainers began to speak and greet one another, herself included, the white-haired woman barely bothered to bat a lash before she took her leave. A quick glance at the map and she knew her target--out of the sun, out of the way. She wanted the forest. Not that she was too happy with the walk there, having to be mindful of her skin's lack of natural defenses against the sun's rays and checked that her light layers covered her up.

Such events outside were a hassle for her, but at least if she could return with even one egg, she could perhaps keep Victor from being disappointed with her or grumpy. Why her partner liked to socialize so much, and insist she did as well, she'd never been able to fathom, though she suspected it was in part due to his interest in having a wider audience for him to prank--people might not be so inclined to keep their eyes on him, if they were talking and distracted with her.

Shaking her head, Xeak pushed her sunglasses up onto the crown of her head as she began to look around once beneath the safe shade of the trees. Right. Eggs. She was here to try and have fun so... hop to it.

Oh hey! Cassie grinned as she stumbled upon a little purple egg, plucking it up and putting it into her bag. Got one! Not that she was sure that her luck would go forward from there, but at least she had one to show for her efforts. It'd been ages since she'd been on an egg hunt--not since she was a little kid really, so just the thrill of doing something fun and cute?

Yes please.

With a hum she continued on, peeking around the area for any other eggs hidden about.

[Xeak, Area 3 - Not taking the Pidgey!]

Not an egg. Not anything, except a Pidgey. She sighed, eyeing the tiny bird with almost a look of amusement before she tried to shoo it away. Carefully. Never knew when more of its friends were peering around waiting to dive bomb. But she moved away carefully, her eyes moving around not only to watch out for the Pidgey and any company, but also to look out for eggs in the area.

...preferably eggs for the hunt, and not... like, a nest. Though she couldn't help but look up at the branches around them.

Seemed like it was a good call. just in the crook of the Tree's branch he discovered a new egg.
plucking it up, he croaked lightly and place it into the frothy foam around his neck.
He shifted on the branch so that he could turn around, about to hop off when he noticed that someone had walked where he had been planning on jumping down.
Waiting for a few seconds, he shifted his body again to turn, and hopped onto the ground, just behind a girl (Cassie)
Once he landed he turned to face her, frowning lightly... seems she had found an egg that had been close by that he missed. Darn.
"Froak..."

The Togepi cheered, waving for Faleen to follow.
Though the women had paused, looking over at where Froakie was close to another human. "Looks like Froakie is making friends too." The unlikeness of the statement aside, and earned her a frown from Froakie. "Don't get distracted Froakie~" She teased, shuffling after the Togepi.

The sound of a thud near her made Cassie jump, turning quickly to stare at the Froakie and, after a beat where he didn't go after her, offering a small smile. "Hello," she greeted him lightly, though as she looked around a bit, she spotted another woman (Faleen) and gave her a wave, breathing a bit in relief when she heard the other call out to the Froakie. So he was her partner. Cool.

"G'luck with the hunt," she said to Froakie with a renewed grin, turning herself to try and resume her hunt. Though, it wasn't an egg she found behind another scrub tree, instead finding a very cute Eevee decoration. "Aw, ok, that's adorable," she laughed, though continued to search for an actual egg. Could they grab the decorations? Probably not.

The Pidgey didn't follow her, and no others bombed her, but as she looked through some of the lower hanging branches, she did locate a green egg. Snorting, she reached up to tug down the branch and pluck the egg up, tossing that into her bag before letting the branch swing violently back into place.

One down. Victor couldn't be mad at her for at least finding one. But she continued to peek around. Plenty of underbrush, branches, rocks, logs... and oodles of other hiding spots for eggs to be stashed. Just a question of uncovering the right spot, right?

Well, if she couldnt find another egg. Maybe finding a new friend to help her find them would be the next best thing!
"Hello mr. Caterpie~ say you haven't happendone to see any colorful eggs around here have you?"

Said Caterpie, who was munching on the new leaves on the tree turned it's head to look at Faleen and Togepi. Stared for a solid five seconds then turned back to munching on its leaves.

Faleen grinned "alright, mind telling me where?"
Again the Caterpie turned back to the human, giving her a stern eye
"Hey hey now, I can understand you just fine actually"
Clearly the Caterpie wasnt expecting a direct response, having tossed the first reply to dumb luck as most people seem to pretend to know simple yes or no responses from pokemon.


"Why thank you togepi~"
Caterpie did not seem to agree
"Whaaaat! Come on caterpie, I'm more like you than you think, just tell me where the eggs are."
the Caterpie continues to protest as it crawled higher into the tree, and eventually out of sight.

Faleen let out a sigh and crossed her arm. Looking up at the tree leaves.
Togepi gave a soft trill next to her
