Zeni is to the North of Kanto and Holon and borders the same ocean that Kanto does on its east. To the west there is a mountain range that separates Ryukyu from Zeni. To the south lies an unprotected political border that splits Holon from Zeni. To the north is the northern part of the world. There is only two ways to arrive in the country. Either by hot-air balloon or blimp arriving in Peach Town or by boat arriving in Portsdale.

Most of the region is flat plains with a few hills here and there. In the western area of the region near the border is a mountain chain and a few volcanoes especially near Cherry City. The northern area near route 607 has several small caves that have formed from this mountain chain being dug out by pokemon and one of these tunnels is route 607.

The northern areas near routes 615 and 617 are covered in ice and snow. These routes are the coldest in the region and are home to many of the strongest pokemon in the region. The area directly below that includes Lemonville, Pineappleburg, and Peach Town are very windy and have a slight chill to them.

A small island sits off to the east. The island was once a part of the main land, but broke off after a major earthquake. The island is covered in thick forests that are home to many pines and spruces. The weather changes on the island from season to season from temperate to cold.

The area from route 608 to 610 that includes route 605, Blueberry Village, and Pomegranate City is covered by plains and a few patches of trees. The air is known for having a lot of wild pokemon and a few random groups of houses spread in between cities.

The area surrounding Watermelon City that is thick forests. The forest is home to many bug, grass, and normal type pokemon and is a popular location for new trainers to being their training. The entire area is a maze and causes great confusion for the stupid trainer.

The southeastern area is home to the only trading port in the region. Portsdale is where all major ships come in. The city is known for its occasional thick fog that is caused by a mysterious force. Directly below the city is the Coconut Beach where the water is warmed by underwater volcanoes off shore. The warm water and distance to the large city causes this area to be a popular destination.
