Business and EEK-onomics Club
Are you interested in how Big Business works? Do you enjoy the prospect of making money through wise investments? Are you being pushed into the family business and aren't sure what side of a check register you need to fill out? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you clearly belong in the Business and EEK-onomics club! Comprised of fresh, bright young minds, this club seeks to teach it's members proper financial preparations and handling as well as money management.
The club will meet once a week for a general meeting and discussion of what they have learned, but members are expected to do their club homework throughout the week.
Activities include, but are not limited to:
Creating a mock investment portfolio
Opening a Savings account at the bank and tracking their personal finances throughout the year
Creating an on-campus small business to cater to the needs of the student population
Teamwork is emphasized and encouraged! All species and beings are welcome to join!
