Matthew Allen Gennison (Born April 25th, 1994) is a Canadian-American professional wrestler, singer and songwriter currently under contract for TNW:R under the iMPACT Brand, where he goes solo at the moment, but earlier years in the company would team with Trent and Mikey Chi, and on occasions, Abyss. Matthew is best known for his mixture of technical-in ring wrestling with a combination of hardcore here and there whenever the match or feud is right.Most known for hardcore wrestling, however, he's put on many great matches involving a no disqualification stipulation. He's known for putting on a fight and proving he's one of the toughest wrestlers to step into the ring, but when it comes to matches, he's known for stiffing guys, either people he doesn't like to work with, or guys he respects in order to toughen them up and make the product look as real as possible, so you may never know what to expect out of a Matt Allens match.
Matt Allens has only worked for TNW:R and CWF, in which he's only captured the TNW:R Paramount Championship once in his career, and no other championships anywhere else.
Early Life
Matt Allens is the oldest of two siblings, one brother and one sister, growing up in a single-parent household, only being raised by his mother. Childhood friends with Trent, the two would have dreams on becoming professional wrestlers. Growing up, Matt Allens had always been a fan of professional wrestling since birth. Not a third generation superstar of any sort, he had to figure out a way to get into the business to one day be like the heroes he watched on TV as a child. In his early teens, Matt would visit Detroit after reading an article about a wrestling school hosted by Rob Van Dam, where Matt would be training for the next two years, starting at age 15. Matt was pretty out of shape, and desperately wanted to drop a few pounds in hopes of being able to do athletic moves and put on-flashy moves like the light heavyweight and cruiserweight divisions he watched as a kid. After taking some time training with Rob Van Dam at his school, he would eventually be taken under CM Punk's wing. Although Matt Allens is classified as a light-heavyweight/cruiserweight, he doesn't pull out any high flying moves, only on occasions.
Professional Wrestling Career
Early Career (TNW:R) 2015
Debuting in his first televised match under a lucha mask, and going by the name "Matt McRadical", Matt would pick up his first win against Tyler Breeze, which would be the start of his career and further on plans possible for the future judging by his pretty sloppy in-ring performance, Tyler carried the match but Matt made sure to keep the pace going as well. Later on that night, Matt and his brother would assist Trent in assaulting Roman Reigns in a 3 on 1 mugging during a Trent vs. Roman Reigns match.

Followed by his win over Tyler Breeze on Tuesday Night Takeover, on Saturday Night Showdown, Matt would be given an open mic time to address himself.
He would announce in the beginning of the show that he had aligned himself with Trent.
For the next few weeks, the two along with Mikey Chi would focus on battering Roman Reigns and making sure to put wins under their brackets.
Singles Competition, March 7th, 2015.
The three would split ways momentarily until they decide to get back together one day.
Mikey Chi had won the Paramount Championship and lost it the next night,
eventually getting released in the same month. Trent went on to win the tag team championships with Jeff Hardy, and that left Matt to work on storylines and promos in singles competition. He would be feuding with Samoa Joe,
while working many dark matches. Matt claims to had beaten everybody on the roster. Although he has many wins in dark matches which includes the likes of current TNW:R Universal Champion, Aleks Mason, Cesaro, Dean Ambrose, Mikey Chi, Kevin Owens, and etc. He has never beaten the Big Show or Roman Reigns, during their multiple encounters. Just like his little brother, Mikey, Matt Allens would go on to win the TNW:R Paramount Championship at a PPV.
First Championship win, Cyber Sunday, June 28th,
2015.
After coming off a 3-4 month Injury from the hands of Brock Lesnar, Finn Balor was scheduled to defend the TNW:R Paramount Championship in a match against the opponents of the fans choosing. The choices would either be Matt Allens, (who at the time didn't announce his return, but he was backstage at the event), Trent, Hellfire or all three of them in a Fatal-4-Way match for the TNW:R Paramount Championship. The fans have chosen Matt Allens over the two, and even over what would've been a spectacular Fatal-4-Way match to see the returning Matt Allens take on the Demon King, as Matt Allens would pin the demon for the three count to capture his first TNW:R Paramount Championship.
CWF (2015)
After parting ways with TNW:R due to bad terms with the company in late June, Matt Allens would make his way over to CWF and appear on the first episode of Monday Night Mayhem on July 3rd with the TNW:R Paramount Championship still in his possession and bringing it on TV, in which he would wrestle Bill Goldberg, defeating him with a Curb Stomp, shooting on TNW:R as it was the move of their TNW:R Champion, Seth Rollins, feeding into the claims that Matt Allens was a "Seth Rollins Clone". In his time in CWF, he would be booked strongly, defeating Goldberg on the first show, and defeating Mason Ryan, Raven in a Gauntlet Match, but ending in a no contest against the third man, Abyss. During his time in CWF, Matt Allens would be feuding with Abyss and Kane on different occasions.
Return to TNW:R, May, 2016
On an episode of RAW, Matt Allens would return in-ring May 9th after claiming he had never got his re-match clause for the TNW:R Paramount Championship, thus competing in a #1 Contender's match, in which he would lose to Finn Balor. Matt would leave again during the summer.
