It's already legal where I live. Personally I don't have a stance on it since I have no interest in it.

Bloody hell! That took forever to close out of that web browser window. It randomly decided to go to a bad website that does those pop-up "warning" things. Good thing I'm tech savvy and quickly was able to close out of it and what not.

I'm so bloody tired of having to clean up huge messes at the coffee area. Like seriously?! The garbage can is right there! Why can't you throw away your trash there rather than leave it lying around on the tray or counter. Ugh!

And now I get to have the repetitive conversation about holidays with this resident. *sighs* He's supposed to be wearing a hearing aid but he doesn't always do that. So, if you don't speak loud enough or you don't face him when speaking sometimes, you have to have a continuous looping conversation until he finally goes elsewhere. whee

Apparently Austin, one of the cats here at the assisted living, was sad yesterday because I wasn't around. Especially since the other receptionist isn't able to share the chair with her (and won't) and usually just pushes the chair I'm using into the back for her to lay on while pulling out her own special chair (which she apparently gets upset if she learns someone else tries using it).

At least I'm here today to give her lots of love.

The problem with answering people's inquiries of what I'm going to dress up as for conventions or events (like Halloween) is a majority of them don't even know of the franchise my look is coming from. *sighs*

The higher ups in the theater chain of command have given permission for staff members to dress up for Halloween, as long as it follows the basic rules (i.e. slip resistant shoes, no masks/face paint, no weapons, etc.). This is a pretty big deal because no one's been able to do it for many years.

I get to work at the theater on Halloween evening, so I get to participate in the festivities. Since they were focusing on movie themes for costumes, I ended up deciding to be Applejack in honor of the new My Little Pony movie. Especially since I learned of the news at last minute and couldn't think of anything else I could do in such short notice.
