Revelations by *duckmasta2020
St. Peter's podium to the gates of hell Kingdom of man fell Four words slip from four sets of lips Horsemen of the Apocalypse
The first was given a crown of victory Shouting, "come and see!" He rode off on a horse of snow white Conquest of holy might
The next was gifted a sword to lay waste Vengeance on man placed Riding the red horse, ruin left in its wake War for violence sake
The third burst forth carrying scales The grain quickly stales Riding the stallion of blackest night Famine due to blight
The final one rode forth, scythe in hand Hades in his band On top of a sickly mare of the palest green Death for all foreseen
Harbingers of the finale, come to judge To man they begrudge Beholders of the oaths sworn to defend Slaying all who've sinned
The Path of the Jedi by *duckmasta2020
Though I walk the path of positive enlightenment, I tread the dark waters of negative reinforcement. My philosophical ideals remain firm per their design, Constantly changing and evolving, for good or malign. I am fixed upon my course, guided toward the light; The Darkness in my soul burns everlastingly bright. Whether the Lord will be waiting to judge in the end Or I lay at the mercy of a deity I fail to comprehend. I shall not fear the future or the death that awaits; The Force is with me, always, in its endless states.
Mars by *duckmasta2020
Lady of Mars While you wish for war I offer you an eternal peace under the stars Beneath the earth's core Passion be a mutual release
A future lost by *duckmasta2020
I was once told, out at sea I would go to meet my destiny But I stayed in denial on that lonely Isle The truth I chose to flee
Rain by *duckmasta2020
You may say you hate it, but I love it when it rains For me it's like a thousand volts coursing through my veins I wish it were always like this every day, in every way But you still pray that tomorrow will be a different day
You see it only as a form of precipitation I wait for it with breathless anticipation You claim that it's one of nature's liabilities Completely disregarding the myriad possibilities
You wish to forget about the feeling as it caresses your skin I keep trying to tell you that it has nothing to do with sin It's just a part of life, rocking with the water's pulse-pounding beat Can't you see the thousands of people dancing in the rain, It's so sweet
It visits us during every season, every month, for no reason Yet you act like enjoying it is some form of high treason I hope and I pray that you'll view it differently some day Instead of staying indoors, drowning in utter dismay
I grow weary of this argument, and if you would allow You may take these last words of mine, as my solemn vow You have the right to refrain from partaking in the rain but nevermore will I stand of you to speak of it with such disdain
It may be cold and wet but mistake it not for being dreary like the light from the bright sun, it may be just as cheery Though it may not have what you may consider a mind of its own Each water droplet, from the first to the last, never feels alone
It seems that I can't quite get my point across to you But, boy, would you be surprised and delighted if you only knew The many wonders that the rain brings with it, and even leaves behind the laughter of the children, the endless rainbow and other magic of it's kind
If you weigh the good that comes from it, you'll see that it outweighs the bad Someday, you will come to know, that the rain washes away the tears of the sad Allowing, those who have lost, to better themselves and to start anew I hope you will realize that the rain is a force of good, just like you
