The man crouched down and pulled the little girl into a swift hug before they both departed. He walked back towards his hotel room, having nothing better to do since his store was still closed for the day. Only once did he look back.

"Come child," the mother smiled, her brown hair cascading down her neck. "I think you will find this place very nice." she assured warmly.

tubbing her eyes, the child nodded lightly and held the woman's hand tightly, as she had Chaos's hand. "O-otay...." She mumbled, whimpering slightly..

The woman pulled her hand away with slight disgust on her pretty face. "Don't touch me." she said in a soft tone, which seemed even harsher than usual yelling. Setting a hand behind the girl's back, the mother pushed her towards the kitchen, which held some filth to it. "Aaron will be here any second. Clean this place up before he gets here or else." she said with a soft hiss.

letting out a sigh a the words, the psychic spun on her heal to look up at the woman. "What about knives? And broken things? A-and mold? I can't touch that stuff!! i get all itchy and red....." She pouted, her tiny frame shaking as she spoke.

The mother leaned down until her nose was barely touching the girl's. "Trust me, that'll be the least of your worries if you don't get this place cleaned up." she silently threatened.

frowning, Cybil's eyes went silver. "No." She spat back, running into the kitchen, only to hop out the window and make a break for the remains of the bar. Maybe she could get a fire going in the oven to keep herself warm all night...?

The yells of the woman could be heard from the house, chasing after her, but the woman herself only stayed and screamed in anger.

Meanwhile, Chaos stood at the wreckage of the pub, somberly watching the police investigate what could have caused it and the death of the barkeeper. A very suspicious act, they all agreed and searched for clues that could prove it wasn't just coincidence. Some of the people that had survived the wreck were talking to the police about it, and Chaos knew that soon he would be one of them.
As he waited for his turn at questioning, he tugged at his scarf, pondering why he was still here. The girl had gotten her family, so he didn't necessarily have any need to buy the building, but... He wasn't sure exactly what compelled him to stay, just a... feeling.

a sobbing Cybil snuck into the back door, curling up under the remaining half of the bar. sitting there, she sobbed loudly and hugged her midsection tightly while mumbling in perfect Greek, something that would take a person years to do if it were a second language.

Chaos watched two officers banter back and forth about God-knows-what when he heard sobbing nearby. It sounded an awful lot like Cybil... No, that was impossible, she was in foster care now, and she didn't know Greek. Still....
Being sure to stay in the shadows, Chaos walked to where the crying came from and pushed some debris back until he could see who it was. He saw someone in fetal position and reached a hand towards them. "Excuse me," he said softly. "Are you all-" He stopped when he recognized the person. "...Cybil?"

sniffling, the child looked up and rubbed her eyes. mumbling to herself in Greek she latched onto him and started to cry into his chest.

Chaos blinked and caught his breath when the little girl ran into his arms and cried against him. Confusion filled his mind and showed in his wide frost blue eyes. "Cybil," he started softly and gently held her close. "What's wrong? Why aren't you with your new family?"
