TW didn't hesitant when they got to the location of the guards. After hearing a murmur in his headset, he shot a soldier in the head, the one with Carpo's blood type. He was about to tell Pan to have at it when he suddenly heard the growl nearby. For a second, he thought TR had come back, but then he saw it, the mongrel they had sent after Pan was barreling his way. "Mother f-," he managed to get out before getting tackled to the ground. The two wrestled for a bit, the dog getting a few good bites at TW before he was able to put the dog down.
Growling, he slowly raised to his feet and looked around. Pan and Carpo were gone. Cocking his gun, he sniffed the air, quickly picking up his scent. Chasing him wouldn't do him good on it's own though. Pan could run forever, just barely staying out of reach of him. And he had to get him now. Pin him down while he still had a weakness carried in his arms.
"PAN!" He yelled, voice reverberating off the trees. He didn't need to yell, but he did. After all, he wanted Carpo to hear this too."I'm Giving You One Chance. Come Back With Carpo Now Or I'll Flip The Switch to Have All of your Friends Killed."
Carpo did indeed hear the voice, although it was faint by this point... The helmet helped some, picking up audio cues... Sliding it off, the redhead looked up to Pan, concern in his eyes. |

In the struggle between TW and the beast, Pan had only dashed to the other side of the river. An astonishing leap, surely but it wasn't enough to get away. He just needed a few minutes alone with Carpo. He set him down for a moment, hidden behind a new line of tree at least 50 meters from river and away from TW.
He hugged Carpo and struggled hard to hold back tears.
"What should I do?" he asked shaking. The two only had moments while the beasts fought.
"I'm not going to let you or any of them die because of me!" he cried. He managed to hold the tears in and keep his voice down. He felt as though he knew the answer to this problem and he knew how much Carpo was against this. But because Pan did run, he know knew that it would be more difficult to reprogram him to becoming only TR again.
But then, what about Carpo? These people were going to kill him! And now, because of Pan's inability to assert himself properly, his death was practically a guarantee.
Soon another gunshot went off and Pan knew his time with Carpo was up. Now he had agitated TW and Pan was feeling so lost.
Whatever Carpo would want to say, he'd have best said it quickly, because just moments after TW would yell out, Pan would have to come out of hiding and respond, with or without Carpo.

"I know you will," Carpo said, a slight smile on his lips as he looked to Pan. They then both exited their hiding spot, revealing themselves to TW. The man's annoyance seemed to dissipate at this and he grinned, relieved that he did not have to chase the two of them.
Watching as Carpo went into Pan's arms, the man prepared to chase them if need be, but soon they were beside him, presumably ready to be taken away. The man looked them over for a moment, as if judging their intentions. He then proceeded to get really close to Pan. "Try that again. And next time I will shoot him in front of you," he snarled before looking at Carpo. "You lead the way. I trust you remember it."
And with that they were off, towards the prison.

kawaiihogoshatenshi I think Pan has his hands pretty tied here unless he was to fight TW head on... which doesn't seem like a great idea.
Walking in front of TW now, Pan could feel his own blood boiling from how helpless he felt. Whether TW cared to actually know or not, Pan didn't entirely know that the hybrid beast would be there. The splashing he heard from the distance could've been anything. It was TW's own fault for not smelling the beast coming closer before it was too late.
Pan remained quiet as TW's threat did not go unnoticed. But if he was to hurt Carpo, he'd lose any chance of Pan cooperating with him and have a real fight on his hands. Especially since, Pan didn't know what would happen if he were to lose Carpo. And Carpo doesn't seem too keen on losing him either. But any way Pan really saw this, the two were going to end up apart. Pan had another plan, but he knew Carpo wouldn't like it. But at this point... only Carpo's and the other's safety mattered.
"If you're still planning on giving Carpo open heart surgery, you can forget on having me do it. I know now that I'm not a real doctor. Make sure they know that I know that.." Pan muttered back to TW, clutching Carpo in his arms tighter to keep him warm. Pan gave a suggested gaze at the helmet, almost asking Carpo to put the helmet back on his head to cover his face. Carpo will get instantly recognized inside, and he wanted to take as little risk as possible in an already impossible situation.

"Well that's not entirely true Pan. You are a doctor, went through the proper training and everything. TR isn't though. And that what we want. Regardless, I'll keep your wishes in mind. I'll make sure they put our best doctors on the task. Heck I'll even make sure that they let you see him one last time," he said as they continued forward. TW could see the two prepping, Carpo putting the helmet on and Pan steeling himself. It was almost funny, how nervous they were, but it made sense. After all, they didn't know what he knew.
Eventually they reached the gate, which opened as they approached. Inside stood a number of guards, who stood at attention, but did not make a move to grab either of them. And so they headed down the hall, TW leading the way down the hall and into the inner workings of the prison. They had been in this section once before, when they had been captured at base. It looked very much the same, though it was still not fully repaired from TR's rampage. This time, however, noone rushed them or tried to get them imprisoned, they just watched them walk past. It was... strange. They should've been grabbed or restrained on sight, but here they walked as if they were guests instead of prisoners.
After a short while, TW turned into a room where an operating table sat ready and a number of doctors were on hand. "If you would set Carpo down, they can get started, with you monitoring for any funny business, of course."
At this, Carpo clung on tighter to Pan. He didn't like this... |

TW frowned in annoyance at Pans words and clenched his fists. His patience was now running thin and iicy blue eyes flickered to silver. “We are going to. While Carpo has surgery, I’m going to escort you to your friends and then the both of us will make sure that they make it out safely and are sent in the right direction,” he said, trying to keep his voice calm, despite the fact that Pan was trying his patience,” the surgery will take awhile and it should get started before any more stress is put on your lover boys heart.”
To him, that sounded reasonable, but Pan was having none of it. Balling his fists, he got ready to sock him. “Look you little s**t. You’re going to put him down right now or-,” he started, only to be interrupted by one of the doctors.
“It’s fine Ymir. The surgery can wait a bit longer. He should be fine until then,” she said calmly, only for the grey haired man to frown ever deeper.
“Are you serious? His heartbeat is totally off kilter and if he does befo-,” he argued back, only to stop as he heard the voice in the earpiece confirm that the surgery could wait. Grumbling, he shifted his vision to the side and moved back towards the door. “Fine, but if he dies, I’ll kill the lot of you,” he murmured before opening the door.
“They are this way.”
With that said, he began to lead them down the hall before stopping at a large steel door. Pressing a few buttons, he watched as the door slid to the side, revealing a group of people. There was less of them there than there previously had been and the ones still left didn’t look so great. The worst out of them being a very familiar face.
At the sight of this, Carpo wiggled himself free from Pans arms and immediately entered the room. “Kravos!” He said, only to watch the man wearily turned to look at him. He seemed to be all in one piece, but he looked thinner and tired. |

Pan sighed at the mumbled of the ear piece. That meant he could relax for now and the people on the other side gave in to what he wanted. It seemed so strange to Pan at all the sacrifices these people were willing to make just to appease him.
Then TW seemed to be faltering as his temper grew apparent. The other doctors had to calm him before they moved on again. It was almost... entertaining to see, and it made the rabbit think about how his temper could be used against him... but not now.
Finally the man took them to the others and Pan couldn't help but sign in relief. Letting Carpo and following him slowly, he smiled at the others, " You're alive... ''.
"No thanks to you... " one of them cried. A strawberry-blonde woman, crouching on the floor, holding her stomach. He glare was icy too, but her face was beaten and bruised, one eye almost swollen shut. She was a girlfriend to one of the other members from the hideout, but he was no where to be seen. Cedar was her name.
" I heard these monsters... they were after the doctor... that's you... " Pan didn't say anything. She continued, " So you've come to turn yourself in now? Where were you when the others needed you? Huh?!- ow.." she hissed from a pain on abdomen.
The light in Pan's pink eyes flickered as his chest tightened, probably not a sign that Ymir wanted to see. Luckily they stayed aglow. " I'm so sorry... " Pan muttered quietly. Cedar laid her head on the floor and grunted in pain once more, "..... It doesn't matter... whether or not you do turn yourself in... they're just gonna kill us anyway..." she harped on. Her words could be seen clearly affecting, not only Pan, but the other captives as well.

Carpo had headed over to Kravos first, checking over the mans injuries with gentle hands. He seemed okay, but he could’ve been better. Honestly though, Carpo was just happy to see him alive. He smiled in relief for a moment, only for his smile to fade as Cedar spoke up. At this, he began to look around and saw the others conditions. Like Kravos, they look worse for wear.
Immediately his hands moved to his sleeve, which he began to carefully tear into strips. Upon hearing Cedar continue, however, he paused and looked around. “Where’s Astral,” he asked, just for Polaris to speak up in response.
“They took him a couple days ago... He stood up to them when they tried to beat information out of Cedar,” he said, eyes shifting away as he spoke,” he hadn’t been brought back.”
Carpo bit his lip at this and looked to TW. “Is he still alive,” he asked, just for the man to shrug.
“Probably not. We killed at least seven of them since you four escaped,” he said nonchalantly. Carpo rose in response at this, a new sort of anger welling up in him at this response.
“Well you better find out because if you want our cooperation then you have to let all of them go fre-,” he started, only to be cut off part of the way through by TW.
“Docs say he died this morning. Sorry kid, but looks like you ran a bit la-.” This time, he was cut off, but not by a voice. Instead he was stopped by the sound of Carpos heartbeat, which was threatening to halt at any moment. “You need to calm down..”
“Calm down! You people killed my friends. You destroyed my family!”
“And now we are letting them go. Now calm down or you’ll blow your heart out.”
The redhead wasn’t calming down though. If anything his angry seemed to grow at the mans concern. Then a hand was set on his shoulder and a small voice pulled him out of it.
“Are they really letting us go Carpo... or is this a trick,” Vega said, a look between hope and nervousness plastered on her face...
“We’re letting you go. Pan will be escorting you to wherever he came from. All we want is his cooperation,” TW said calmly before looking to Pan,” speaking of which. You can start to do so at any time. I’m not going to stop you.” |

"Carpo... is this true..," Kravos asked, his voice hushed as he looked at the redhead. At his nod, he eased a bit, some much needed relief washing over his weary body. It seemed weird and unreal, but Carpo wouldn't lie. He was too loyal.. and he was certain that hadn't changed, even with Pan now in his life... And so he stood slowly, carefully helping others to their feet as well. At the sight, more raised, Kravos having become a sort of leader in the absence of Alpha. As he did so, he looked to Carpo again. He had so much he wanted to ask the redhead. Where had he been? How had they escaped? Was it recently or quite some time ago? He knew he couldn't ask all of this though... not at this time. So instead he settled on the question that was most pressing at his mind.. "Who were the other two that escaped," he said, uncertain if he really wanted to know the answer at this point..
"Alpha and Rene.. They are at a safe place... Somewhere you all can get healed up and taken care of.." Kravos smiled slightly at this, happy to hear that it was those two especially. If it was really them they would be with... he knew they would be okay..
Soon the group was gathered in the hall, a mix of nervous and relieved energy radiating off of them as they seemed uncertain what to do. Every step they took, seemed to make the promise seem all the more real...
As they stepped out, Ymir turned to Pan, who was now responsible for this group. "Alright. You have a few options. Either you can take them all out of here and walk them over, try to use public transport to get wherever the hell you or going, or take one of our trucks and drive them where you are going," he said before looking to the group, who stood stationary in the hall," the exits over there." He gestured down the hall and watched them for a few moments before looking back to Pan.
"Frankly, I don't care what you do as long as you end up back here. One of the guards have set up a truck near the gate for you, if that's what you want and-" he stopped mid-sentence, suddenly grabbing Carpo's wrist as he got within range," we are keeping him until you get back. We'll fix his heart so we can avoid a meltdown on your end. And then you can decide how things will progress once you get back, capiche?" With that said, he pushed the helmet, which Carpo had discarded back into Pan's hands.

Upon searching, Alpha would find Rene and Zed in the computer room, which Carpo had abandoned in his haste. On the screen, they could still see what was being shown via the helmets camera and hear what was being said. They just didn't have the headset to communicate with them.
"I'm sorry we didn't grab you sooner Alpha. We just found the feed a few minutes ago..," Zed said as the man moved over to look on.
"Alpha... I... they are at the prison... They found Kravos and them and Pan is going to bring them home, but Carpo...," he said, looking rather distressed," they want to keep him there...." |
