TenTenPrincess23 Oh that's good to hear. Everyone in my orbit has pretty good thank goodness.
Phoebe stayed glued to his side, eyes wide as everything erupted into chaos around them. There were so many sirens and lights and yelling. She didn't know where to direct her eyes or ears or anything. It was all too overwhelming to her newly heightened senses. "P-Pan.. What's happening I'm-"
Her voice was cut off as a louder more brash voice cut through the sirens. "WHERE IS HE," the man yelled, eyes glowing a harsh golden color as he slammed one of the scientists into the wall. From where Pan was standing, he could clearly see Ymir snarling, with teeth bared and blood smeared on his clothes. It seemed like he'd gone d@mn near feral. Phoebe whimpered at the sight and full on hid behind Pan. If Ymir noticed either of them though, he didn't show it. No, he was full fixated on the scientist, who struggled in his bone breakingly tight grip.
"I-I don't. I don't know what you are talking ab-," the man started to stammer out, just for Ymir to slam him into the wall again, a loud cracking noise sounding as he did so. "Don't lie.!" |

TenTenPrincess23 yes yes! I was just thinking about that group. Would you like to start woth them or shall I?
Ymir growled as the man continued to stammer and stutter in the face of his maw. He was losing his patience. He wanted answers and he wanted them now. Lunging forward, he moved to end the helpless man only to suddenly feel himself be grabbed and his prey freed. He snapped his jaw at the culprit, threatening to lash out at whomever it was, only to pause upon seeing Pan.
Growling under his breath, his eyes darted between his prey and his brother before finally settling on The latter. He still looked on edge, like he was ready to turn and pounce at a moments notice. “They-,” he started, voice still gravelly and filled with venom, he then barked (not literally though close) at the man he had been holding,” don’t move. Im not done with you.”
Eyes fixated on the man he had held before, as Ymir seemed tempted to rip himself from Pan’s grasp. He didn’t though, instead he let Pan hold him back, as if part of him knew it was necessary. Even with this though he was having a hard time composing himself enough to give a solid answer.
“H-h—he is looking for Carpo. I-I don’t know where he is... N-None if us do.... He he didn’t like that answer. I I am sorry Pan. We we tried to keep an eye on him, but but but he jus just disappeared. Something is w-wrong with Mother. Her speech is delayed and she keeeps pausing between answers.” |

Why...
Was the only thing rushing through Pan's mind. He wanted to cry but he forced to keep the tears in.. Here we go again, everything constantly wanting to keep Carpo and Pan apart... Great. Another feeling slinking in. Pan made another wrong decision where Carpo's life was put on the line... again.
Again and again and again...
Maybe had Pan listened to Carpo and left then and there, Carpo wouldn't be missing.
Or Maybe, if Pan never asked to go outside for a moment of stupid enjoyment, then Carpo would never gotten hurt in the first place....
............... If we never met... he would have been much safer in the long run...
That thought crept into his head. An ugly though that he couldn't help but tell himself that must be true...
Pan frowned at looked at the doctor. "Last I saw him, he couldn't even move... How is he missing?" he asked pained, but firmly. The blaring sirens and flashing red lights only adding to Ymir and Pan's angry looking demeanor.

Rushing down a hidden crawlspace in the walls, Alpha was carefully carrying the fragile Carpo in his arms, albeit shaky and stopping momentarily only to catch his breath, he pressed his head piece.
"I've got Carpo secure enough Kravos, when do I meet you and how do I get there?" he held onto the other man, careful of his injuries as best as he could. "Geez... they seriously ******** you up.... I guess we got here just in time" He was more or less talking to himself, uncertain if Carpo had the ability to stay be conscious right now. |

"I-I have no clue. One of my nurses went in there to give him the rest of his sedatives because he was starting to fuss again. T-That's the last we saw him...," he stuttered out, shrinking considerably as Ymir growled at him, eyes still glowing.
"I told them to check the camera, but the ******** won't."
"We c-c-can't everything is acting up. The computers keep turning on and off, Mother can't answer us. We-" he said, just to be cut off as Ymir finally yanked himself free. He then proceeded to act on his baser instinct and slam his foot into the side of the man's head, effectively shutting him up. It was hard to tell if it was death that silenced him. His head was still attached though, if that meant anything.
"He's got nothing for us. None of these shitheads do," Ymir said as he looked to Pan, eyes starting to dim after he had satisfied his bloodlust," we're going to have to find him ourselves. And we will, even if we have to tear this place apart."

"Um... er... gimme a sec. Carp's given me a nice entryway into their database, but I'm not nearly as good at this computer stuff as he is. Most of this stuff I was only able to do because he'd programmed it already in their system. All I had to do was flip the- Oh hey there we go," he said, watching as this part of the facility opened up to him on his screen. "Erm, okay, we can't go through any of the pathing through Espoir that I know, but I think I have a plan charted out. Go straight through the walls to the next bend, then down, right, left er... wow didn't know this used to be a body disposal path er- damn it Kravos focus."
There was a pause as he presumeably did 'refocus" himself before he continued.
"Straight then out through the vents. It'll lead you out into the open air where we spotted the Carpo Pan n them the other day. You know the place where those androids beat the everloving crap outta the kid? Think this is probably the path they used to drag his sorry arse back. Good thing the kid had a code to mess with their communications or they'd probably be heading out of it right now. Anyways meet you round there in the jeep in about ten. Keep your head low until then. Over and out."

Carpo was.. confused. Why was it dark in here? Where was Pan? Was Pan holding him? He couldn't tell. Everything was blurry and his eyes felt heavy. He had tried not to let the nurse administer the second shot. He wanted to be conscious when Pan came back... Did they know that? Was that why he was being taken away? Was this one of the scientists?
Carpo whimpered a bit at that and squirmed in Alpha's arms. "P-Pan," he said, merely getting out a mumble despite trying to yell. |

Nodding in acknowledgement, Pan took in every word of both of their pieces. He pulled Ymir away from the battered scientist and frowned. He glanced back to where Phoebe could be and paced a second before focusing hard eyes on the wolf.
"The alarms going off are preventing me from hearing anything out of the ordinary, do you smell anything?"
His nerve was quaking, but he tried staying calm as best he could. The thoughts creeping inside his mind made him nervous. All that's happening, is too well timed and coordinated... Pan can't help but fear that all of this could be Carpo's own doing? So... what was really going on? Did he really try to run away to escape from this... sabotage? It would explain his urgency to leave. But... he was so hurt... there was no way he could simply be faking his injuries to up and leave.
His train of thought was interrupted. By another scientist being assisted by two officers. They weren't poised to fight but they had their usual weapons on them. The came from the direction of where Phoebe was, one officer approaching her first, gingerly. And then the scientist, viewing the scene before them, sighed and gestured to the boys in the hall.
"Come along boys, orders from above to keep you in your rooms, we're to escort you.". The scientist shouted and waved to move them back down the hall.
"All of you." He called to Phoebe as well. Should she come out of hiding, the other officers will move to protect her, but wait for the boys.
"No! Carpo is gone! We're not going anywhere until he's safe!" Pan refuted. Not common behavior for him, but he wasn't about to leave Carpo all alone if he's hurt somewhere.

Alpha managed to take note of most if not all the instructions Kravos was giving.... up until he heard a loud slam into the wall behind him! He flinched and now completely blanked on when direction Kravos just said to go. But it didn't entirely matter because he couldn't move right away anyway, hearing some more footsteps pass him by.
When Carpo started muttering, calling for Pan, Alpha couldn't help but feel irked. Here he was rescuing the kid and no such thing as even a thank you... still Carpo didn't seem quite conscious yet, so he'd let it slide.
"Shh.." he hushed him briefly before heading straight, hoping that was the right way Kravos just told him. When they were by the set of vents, Alpha gently set Carpo down. A blaring red light was gleaming over them, this being their only source of light and only at times could Carpo get the glimpses to make out Alpha's features.
"You've been working hard... I'm sorry we came so late. But... hey. It's good to see you" Alpha spoke clearly in Carpo's ear so he could hear him over the alarms. "We're gettin you outta here..." .

TenTenPrincess23 eyyy also I love how Pan had to remind Ymir that he had a nose.
Ymir paused for a second, blue eyes shifting to a glowing gold as he let his more primal instincts kick in again. He hadn't forgotten about his sense of smell per say; he just was focused on beating the ever living daylights out of the first person in sight. Now that he was focusing on it though. He was picking up on.. something....
The wolf stared for awhile, tracing the wall with his eyes before finally locking onto it. His scent was in the air vents... That meant he was still here... but it was fading.
"He's leaving... But he's not gone yet. If we go outside, we can better hear and sniff him out then cut him off," he said, having completely ignored the scientists commands. In the past, he probably would've just done what the man said, if only to make things easier. Now though, his older brother was here and his wishes superseded Mother's by miles.
Glancing back at the three men, he considered them only momentarily before turning his heels and heading to the nearest exit. They could shoot him all they wanted, he wasn't let Pan's happiness disappear without a fight.

Phoebe was still shaking, everything was loud and the violence from Ymir was terrifying. She wanted to cry, but instead she just put her hands over her ears and closed her eyes. Then the officers came and her heart nearly leapt out of her chest. Timidly she moved from her hiding place to a place behind them, only to gasp as she saw the other scientist on the ground. Was he dead..? She'd heard the thump, but he couldn't possibly be dead... right?

The further they moved, the more Carpo stirred, a combination of pain and noises rousing him from his unconscious state. He was still confused though, still didn't know where they were and who they was. Whoever it was seemed gentle though. They were being careful with him... That was confusing, was this not the scientists?
Then the voice. He knew that voice..
"A-Alpha," he asked, eyes tearing a bit with relief at the recognition. He wasn't in danger... He was safe and they... they had come for him... Despite his mistakes... they had..
Carpo sobbed, tears finally falling down in full force. "I-I didn't think I'd ever see you again.. I thought, " he said, letting out another sob, knowing full well that the sirens would hide it from his enemies," i-it doesn't matter what I thought you.. you're here.. and we can leave and..." The redhead trailed off there, mind wrapping around the fact that if this was Alpha.. and not Pan... that that meant Pan wasn't here.... "Where.. where is Pan?" |

Good ol' Ymir. But finding out that Carpo's sent is going through the vents, did manage to quell some of the worries he was facing. Because if other soldiers or personel were taking him, they certainly wouldn't use the ventilation system.
But still... Pan worried... what if Carpo was in trouble and he needed to hide?!-
His train of thought was cut off when Ymir took off. The scientist sighed. The man gave a hard glance to the ground. "Oh dear... I had hoped it wouldn't come to this..." the man had pinched the bridge of his nose before returning back to a normal state of composure. " TR... You tend to be the more reasonable subject between the two of you... I can assure you we will find your friend, but I have strict orders to keep you two safe... Go get your brother and return to your rooms...". He was speaking to calmly. Pan was slowly backing away from them until the man raised his fingers and snapped them in the air.
The officers by his side, poised to protect, quickly draw their weapons and aim the directly at Phoebe.
Pan gasped and looked between the lot of them. "You-... I... " He gave a worried glance to Phoebe who must be terrified...." You need us! If Mother found out you'd shot her, you'd get in -"
"I'm sure we'd figure that out when we get there... Now about your brother..." The lot of them weren't moving, keeping their positions pointed at Phoebe.
"... I'll ... Tr-try to get him.." Pan muttered, he contemplated just incapacitating them and letting Phoebe go to her room, but one wrong move and Phoebe could get hurt... So instead he chased after Ymir... but wouldn't come back for quite sometime.

Alpha chuckled quietly, he totally heard that whimper of a sob, but he won't call him out on it.
"Well you set everything up so well these last few months. You just have to forgive Kravos since he's not as well versed with a computer as you are. hehe" he spoke, catching Carpo when he fell. "Hey- Easy.. these ******** did a number on you...Soon, you'll never have to see this place ever again! The other cities are nothing like this place. I can't wait to show it to you!"
A rush of emotion was about to make Alpha cry but he wanted to focus on the vent. He managed to open it up without destroying it and was ready to pick Carpo back up when he asked about Pan.
"I have no clue where Pan is. Probably not far. C'mon lets keep going" Alpha stooped down to lift Carpo back up in his arms. |

Phoebe gasped as the men turned on her. She had never had something like this happen to her before. Her brothers may have ‘misbehaved’ in the past, but Phoebe was always obedient and loyal. Even when she was younger, she did everything she was told and never talked back. She had been the perfect child, the perfect subject in this ‘perfect world.’ And now, for the very first time, it was turning on her and she didn’t know what to do.
With tears in her eyes, she seemed to plead for Pan’s help, but said no words. Even with them turning on her, she didn’t want to upset them or to misbehave. She just wanted things to be right again...

Ymir, meanwhile, was rushing down the hall, pushing aside anyone and everything that got in his way. He knew the worst that Mother would do to him for misbehaving and he wasn’t scared. He had dealt with it year after year after year. All alone and with no comfort. Pan had been his first respite, his first cause for relief. Sure he was gullible and a bit odd at times, but he was a good odd and seeing him smile made him happy. When Carpo had gone missing not even a day ago, that smile had faded and he looked so... scared. He hated it.
Reaching the door, he channeled those emotions into his fist before punching in the keypad. He knew the code to get outside, of course, but that wasn’t nearly as satisfying as watching the doors slide open after he had beat it controls to a pulp.

Carpo paused for a moment, processing his words before nodding. It made sense Pan wasn’t in the vents with them. If Pan had suddenly gone missing as well, they would’ve been more focused on overriding the code, which would’ve put them all in a bad position. Meanwhile, if Pan and Ymir muscled their way out like the two of them had talked about, that would allow Carpo, who was more vulnerable, to sneak out safely . The scientists would be too focused on their escape to override the code and they would all get out and away... He just hoped that Pan wouldn’t get hurt....
“Okay...,” he said, a bit of worry seeming into his voice as he allowed him to pick him back up. He trusted Alpha, even if this plan did worry him |

kawaiihogoshatenshi I know that the prime ship is Carpo x Pan, but I refuse to leave Ymir alone. ALSO this is the second time i've had to write this post because i dropped my mouse and it clicked away from what I wrote ahhhhhhh!
The scientist sighed around Phoebe. He waved his hand and the two officers stood down there weapons. Turning to face her, he approached her with a snide, but soothing smile. His grin, despite the unpleasant move he called for, was a reassuring one. "Now, now my dear, you were never in any danger. The boys will come around soon. Come, young one, let us escort you back to your room. It's not here for you" he ushered her down the hall herself, with one officer, the other stayed behind and turned to follow the boys, albeit at a slow pace.
Pan meanwhile was catching up to Ymir. The sound of the door being blasted open was a clear enough indicator where he went and when he finally did manage to reach Ymir, he almost tackled him to the ground just by running into something to break his momentum. His brain was rushing so much faster than his heart. He was scared for Carpo, terrified for Phoebe, and worried for Ymir... everything was happening so fast!
"Ymir! wait- I .." he begged "I know you're worried for Carpo too, but when Mother- I just don't want you to get in trouble!" he panted, shaking when he breathed. "Don't run off on your own, I .." he wasn't sure if he wanted to finish that sentence. He figured he wasn't going to lose Ymir, especially since Pan is the faster, but everything around him seems to want to take everyone Pan cares most about... at least... that's what it seemed like... right?

Confidently, Alpha picked up his friend and managed to shimmy the two of them into the vent and shut the grate behind them to best cover up his tracks the best he could.
"Kravos and I managed to convince the government to help us! They gave us the tools, vehicles and everything! Rene is back home too, he's getting to enjoy a fully furnished kitchen."
Alpha was purposefully trying to avoid the topic of Pan. He and Kravos had only one goal today and that was to storm in and rescue Carpo... they weren't here for Pan. Alpha could already foresee the conversation going down back home when he asks how they managed to convince the government of anything.
"We don't have to scrounge for food or hunt anymore... ngh- Life is just... normal, i think.. I think that's a good word for the place..Hehe" He managed to shimmy through until they sliding. |

TenTenPrincess23 oh no! dreaded mouse. i will vanquish thee for your foul ways. also its funny that you mention that because Ymir would leave Ymir alone if he thought his big brother could be happy lol
Ymir heard the hurried footsteps even over the sirens. It helped that they almost had a sort of leap to them, as if Pan couldn't keep from hopping even when in a hurry. He grinned at the thought and moved to exit, only to realize that the pace was not slowing. Suddenly, he turned, bracing himself for impact and absorbing it so that both of them could stay upright. "Look I know you are worried , but that doesn't mean you have to get sloppy about it," he said with a toothy grin. He couldn't help teasing Pan, even now when he could hear the rabbit's heart nearly beating out of his chest from panic. Even when he himself was in a panic. Must've been a coping mechanism...
"Whoa Whoa calm down. We've got this and if Mother punishes me, well, then Mother punishes me. Wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last. Now don't worry about that, we've got more things to worry about now. Like whether or not my theory was right. Care for a listen," he asked, gesturing towards the outside.

"That... that sounds fake," Carpo responded, a frown on his lips as Alpha continued moving them forward towards the exit. He trusted that Alpha had vetted them. He was good at making sure that they weren't being manipulated. But still, Carpo couldn't help but wonder if they were just giving Alpha what they wanted until they got what they wanted in return... like the government had done with Pan. "What are they asking for?" |

TenTenPrincess23 lol.. Anyways, did you want them to find them or not. I figure Alpha and Pan might be in agreement as to where Carpo goes if Alpha explains the whole flash drive ordeal
"He should be coming outside through the vents or something. I figured if we were out here, we could use our senses without all the distractions," he said, too focused on sniffing Carpo out to actually react to Pan's insult. He was having a few issues though. Did the exit Carpo was heading to open up to somewhere further away.
Crinkling his nose, he half-pouted as he grabbed his arm before chuckling. "Nah Pan. They are just bluffing. All the scientists are just talk." he said as he continued sniffing. Was that... gas?

Carpo still looked skeptical, but, again, he trusted Alpha. He had and always would. " Oh okay... I'lll take your word for it, but if you are wrong.....," he said, trailing off as he realized that Pan was still nowhere in sight. "Did you tell him where to meet us?" |

kawaiihogoshatenshi I actually almost don't want them to find them. I've been torn between: "Broken/Twisted Pan" or "Escaping with a twist". Do you have a preference? I will agree and say that Pan will think it best that Carpo goes with Alpha and Kravos
Pan let out a great sigh of relief, good thing Ymir is here to explain that or else Pan would have probably had to drag Ymir back to be certain that Phoebe wouldn't get hurt. "Thank goodness, I was so worried that the scientist might actually hurt her" he smiled. The brightness from the outdoors, while still being overcast and gray, was still so much brighter than the dark red lights from inside.
"Ymir, how did you figure that?..Why would Carpo being sneaking out of the the vents when he couldn't even move?" Too many things lined up for this to now be considered a coincidence and Ymir's guesses made Pan question Carpo's intention. He knew he wanted to leave, but he figured that he would have waited for Pan's return... unless he was in serious danger.
"Do you pick up any other scen-" Pan followed beside Ymir until Pan took the wolf's hand to hold him as the sound of many marching feet surrounded them. A handful of military soldiers stood in front of the two boys and another scientist with a remote of some kind, along with the same guard as before came up behind them.
"Boys, it's not safe out here. Come back inside or else we have to take drastic measures.." said the scientist. While it would be extremely easy for Pan and Ymir punch, blast and kill their way through the crowd, Pan frowned and tugged on Ymir's shoulder gently, but with a sense of urgency. He leaned to whisper in his brother's ear.
"I don't want us to kill anyone else, please" he pleaded. Running around them might be easy enough.

Alpha gave a small thankful grunt when Kravos replied. He pushed aside some more grates until reaching an outside area where he could see a field a ways a way. He was focused on moving quicker now, but trying not cause Carpo anymore discomfort....When he asked his question, Alpha knew Carpo was practically going to kill him later.
"?? Kravos knows where to go, he has your coordinates, I'm the one kinda guess" Alpha was playing dumb, almost stalling for time. But he knew better than to keep Carpo in the dark for too long. "Oh Pan? I figured he could find us, ya know? What with his insane hearing now. I'm sure he'll find us.''. |
