The bunny wasn't necessarily satisfied with the decision if it having to stay with Carpo and the other man, but they were awake and by the nice warm fire so they would have to do. The rabbit, however, wanting to play at first, quickly fell asleep in Carpo's hands.

Alpha was taken back a bit by Carpo's question and raised an eyebrow as he thought about a decent answer. Alpha and and Carpo's relationship was usually pretty mutual and they were rather close. But perhaps there was something in else he saw in Carpo that he craved to keep for his own. Something.... but he just wasn't sure what it was. He laughed.

" Well I couldn't leave you. I needed to make sure you were safe. I didn't think that they would put you in another car... I just... I couldn't leave you behind.." he stated plainly. Alpha was always a forward kind of person, Always forward and always strong hearted. But that was the truth. He smiled at Carpo and ruffled his hair.

"Now I have a question for you..." he started. "What's with Pan?... Why is was he even in this situation? .. .Or more importantly... why is he important to you? Just 'cause he's he a doc? " he asked looking back at the white haired male and then at the little rabbit. He didn't want to admit it... but it did make Alpha a little jealous that Carpo would open up to some citizen.

Crinkling his nose as his hair was ruffled, he smiled and chuckled some. He was glad to hear that was the case. That he'd actually came for him, rather than just having been caught in a separate car as well. It was what he had hoped for and now that it was confirmed he felt warmth bubble up inside of him, light pink spreading to his cheeks as the other teased him. "I'm glad, well, I mean not glad that you got imprisoned too, but glad that you stayed to help me. I... I honestly wasn't sure how I would get out. Without you.. I could've been there for awhile..," he said, petting the rabbit gently as he spoke.

Sleepy green eyes stayed steady on it for awhile as a pale, freckled hand lightly pet the rabbit over and over. The redhead found a sort of solace in it, it seemed, a bit of comfort. Staring at it for quite some time, his eyes finally raised when Alpha's question was fully registered. "Pan... He was put in prison for trying to help a friend. The military guards escorting him to Brother moved to pull his friend away. Pan panicked and dragged him off, just for the guards to kill his friend and Pan to be found at fault," he said as he looked to Pan, eyes saddening just a bit as he scanned his sleeping form," I felt empathetic towards him... and since I thought I'd be there for awhile.. I looked to make a friend. He really is quite kind. He lent me his scarf and coat on multiple occasions, not to mention he kept me from dying the first day.. I got shocked in the car and they dropped me on the ground once we reached the ce-"

Carpo suddenly stopped as suddenly a surge of energy went through him. Eyes widening, he immediately shoved the rabbit away before it could short circuit and moved away from Alpha. Hands shaking a bit once it stopped, his now jittery fingers moved to the collar, the collar he had forgotten he was wearing. A bit of the leftover charge had been used up, thankfully, but it would seem some of it was still left and one of the guards, upon noticing he was missing, had hoped to catch him off guard. And off-guard it did catch him, as his hands shook, as well as the whole of his body, the redhead trying to stop it and steady himself.

Alpha was listening to the story and he was interested that Carpo wanted to make friends. In a sense, it only made Alpha more jealous. But suddenly seeing Carpo shutter violently. That collar must have electrocuted him again. He was shaking and trying to calm down. Alpha needed to do something to help.

Alpha took Carpo's hand and pulled him closer. Alpha wrapped his arms around him and held him tight for a short while. Alpha remained perfectly calm as he could feel his own warmth being sapped to Carpo.

"... better?" he asked holding the red head close. The little rabbit had gone back to Pan and managed to hop back on his head. Pip sort just stared at the two hugging each other and his long ears went down. Then, after awhile, it too, curled up and went to sleep a top Pan's soft head.

Feeling his hand be grabbed, Carpo nearly retracted, more out of fear for Alpha than for himself. When he saw that the man didn't shake though and the electrocution indeed finished, he let him keep it and let him pull him close. In his arms, he continued to shake for a few moments, his body working to readjust itself. Slowly fingers began to stop twitching though and his body stopped jittering, the pain and shock seeming to have disappeared within Alpha's caring grasp.

The redhead sat like that for awhile, breath regulating and working back to normal. He then proceeded to nod, looking up with tinted red cheeks and a timid smile. "Yes.. thank you," he said, seeming a bit embarrassed by the embrace. He tried to tell himself not to get flustered, that it was just to calm him down, not actually meant to well mean what he felt it did. He'd just been trying to comfort him. He... he couldn't read to much into this.

He breathed a bit heavy and nuzzled against Carpo's neck. That sense of dread seeing his friend like that finally dissipated when he felt the other calm down. He loosened his grip on his friend and smiled, looking at him in the eyes.

"....sorry.. I couldn't think of anything else to do help..." he confessed. But Alpha didn't, quite let go of Carpo. Instead he merely held his hand and patted brushed some hair out of his face. Carpo must've felt really awkward or unsure right about now but Alpha had held in something for quite sometime. "...I care a lot about you... you know that right?" Alpha asked gently, turning towards the fire. The whole idea of Pan coming in to Carpo's life, had turned Alpha to be very envious and a little paranoid. He could always confide in Carpo and trust him... this other wasn't going to take Carpo away from him was he?

"Look, I don't want make you mad or anything.... but how do you really know Pan won't turn against you...? He has lived his whole life under their care. What makes you think he's not going to turn on us.... If it were my call... I'd take Kravos and you and leave him here... "

"I-It's okay," he said, seeming slightly embarrassed as Alpha doted on him as he did, holding his hand and brushing his hair away, "And I know. I mean. I care about you too Alpha. You're one of my closest friends. Not to mention my hero..."

Carpo was indeed confused, both by his actions and his questions. He wasn't sure he understood what he was getting at, what it was he meant. He was just acting so odd, compared to usual. Usually he'd be teasing and joking with him, but right now... he seemed so serious, so odd..

Green eyes watched him as he looked to the flames, trying to figure out what it was that was causing him to act as such. It was then that those words escaped his lips, words that made him frown ever so slightly. He.. he didn't trust him? Doubted him? "I know Pan won't turn against us. He may have been raised by the government, but he's seen the dark side of it. The horrible side of it that kills people and imprisons people. Not to mention, he trusts me and I trust him. He wouldn't do anything to hurt us.. I'm certain. Don't you trust me?"

Alpha couldn't help but smile. He gave in. He would always believe Carpo and trust him. "Yeah.. I do trust you... And you can trust me to keep saving your a**... Haha" he laughed as he stressed his back. He turned and made himself comfortable and rested his head on his hand. "You can always count on me.."

"Carpo, you can get some sleep soon. You're gonna need your strength if we're gonna get to headquarters as soon as possible.." Alpha stated, looking at him. Alpha wondered if having Pan join in was really such a good idea. But he did trust Carpo so, he'll just have to wait and see. But the interesting part is that Pan is a doctor. He looked at the little bandage on his finger and felt a bit of disgust and hope all at the same time.

" I know you will and I know I can...," he responded with a soft smile, a yawn escaping his lips shortly after. He was so tired, he just wanted to drift off to sleep.. Carpo knew he couldn't though, Alpha needed him. After all, sitting alone for watchout... well, that was never fun.

So, he struggled, continuing to sit up stubbornly even after Alpha gave him permission to rest. No, it was an urging wasn't it? Well, either way, he shook his head and kept his eyes open, trying not to let the wear and pain settle into his bones to will him to give in.. to go to sleep. "I don't want to leave you on night shift alone.. if I said I'm going to do it.. I'm going to stay up with you..."

Chuckling at first and then laughing out loud. Alpha then flinched in hopes as to not wake the others up. The only one that stirred was the little rabbit. Alpha grinned at Carpo, and his attitude changed. "Hehehe.. perhaps you want to entertain me, eh?" he asked with a joking smirk. Laughing again, he mentioned he was only teasing. He sat back up again and pulled Carpo in to let him lean on Alpha's shoulders. "Well, if you do get tired, you can sleep on me..." Alpha smiled again let Carpo lean on him.

After a few minutes however, he felt a small tugging behind him and when he turned around, there, behind him was the little bunny rabbit once again. The rabbit didn't look too pleased about being woken up, but maybe it was something else. Alpha grinned and picked the little bunny. It struggled a bit. Giving a quiet giggle, he pet it, making sure it wouldn't bite him this time. "So.. what do you think is his story?" he asked Carpo but pointing to the rabbit. "And why do you think it likes Pan more than us?" he asked glaring at the little one a bit, still giggling a bit.

Pouting some at his tease, he laughed a bit with him. He then felt the other tug him over and to his side. Hesitant at first to give in, he sat straight up, figuring this was some ploy to trick him into sleep. Eventually though, he did lean on him, reaching forward to pet the bunny as it was tugged over as well.

Through it's fur, thin fingers ran, brushing through it as if in search of burrs, soft but persistent. He kept at this quietly for a moment, yawning once or twice in between before turning to Alpha a thoughtful then curious look on his face. "Well, we did eat a rabbit.Perhaps he's afraid we're foxes and we're going to eat him.. Or maybe just because Pan is not so loud.."

Picking up the little rabbit by the scruff, Alpha sort of glared at it and then placing it in his palm, he kind of bounce it in his hand. "We're not loud... Hehe ya know.. this little toy kinda looks like Pan if you ask me-" he laughed and suddenly the little rabbit opened his mouth and bit Alpha's thumb. Wanting to scream in pain, but not wanting to wake the others up, Alpha covered his mouth and then screamed in pain.

Handing his hand to Carpo, shaking, he whispered/yelled. "Get him off!" he whispered. He was ready to toss the little guy in the fire, but he knew Carpo wouldn't like that very much.

The redhead frowned slightly as Alpha treated the little thing so roughly, picking him up by his scruff and bouncing him about. The poor thing was scared out of it's mind and he could see that something was going to happen. Even with that prediction though, he'd hardly expected that what happened would've occurred. Chuckling, he watched the rabbit dangle for a moment. He then proceeded to help remove the rabbit and took him in his arms, holding him close as Alpha tried to recover. "That's what you get for being so rough with him. He may be a toy, but it's a toy simulated after an animal," he said with a smile before looking to Alpha.

At the sight of his finger, he felt a bit bad for what he said, he didn't retract it though, instead quietly taking his finger. He then proceeded to tug at his shirt some, ripping it and using the ripped fabric to wrap it tight. "There. All better."

Alpha coddled his bandaged thumb close to his chest and tried to relax the pain away. As he watched Carpo nuzzle and pet the bunny, a somber look fell over Alpha's face. Sighing he looked at the little rabbit.
"You know that it isn't actually a toy, right? ... Or at least... he wasn't... They take real animals and convert them into robots so the kids can play with them back at home with out the worry of fleas or worms..." Alpha said looking at his underling and then glancing down at the bunny.

The rabbit was mad at Alpha and now had an angry scowl. But when Alpha started describing how these toys were made, little Pipkin's ears fell back and his eyes sullied a bit. He glanced back at the white haired male, whom of which rolled over on his back as he slept. Pip's nose twitched as he sniffed the air. Alpha sighed, "... Don't tell Pan, though... I think it wouldn't do any good to tell him. He'd probably feel worried every time he'd hold it.." Alpha stated.

Frowning at Alpha's words, he petted the rabbit some and looked at it a bit more seriously. So.. It was real? The thought made him a bit sad. But, well, at least Pipkin was safe with them now, right? At least he'd found a good home. That was all that mattered in the end. And now between Pan and him, well, Pipkin would never have to go through anything so horrid ever again.

"Alright. I won't tell him. I wouldn't want him to worry," Carpo said before giving a yawn. Rubbing his eyes sleepily, he continued rubbing his fingers through Pipkin's soft fur. His whole weight was on Alpha now, too sleepy to stay sitting on his own. He so stubbornly held onto consciousness though, not wanting to leave Alpha alone.

Alpha cuddled his little friend and pet his head gently. He smiled as he let his friend rest.

The next morning, the lot were awake except Carpo and Alpha. Pan was woken up by Kravos and the two went off somewhere not letting the two know. Kravos had asked Pan for help with gathering more firewood or something and they hadn't come back yet. When Alpha woke up he saw the little bunny trying to wake up Carpo.
