Love has no Boundaries?

He looked out the window and stared at the man lounging around. The way his red hair blew in the soft wind, how his muscles flexed at every slight movement, the fierce look in his proud eyes that sent shivers down his spine when they were directed at him. Benjamin Foster bit his lip. He had told himself thousands of times that it was wrong to think this way, but he couldn't help himself. He was in love with his own stepfather.


After a stroke of bad luck and corruption, two polar opposite families were forced to join together. Myka, a fiery soul with plenty of spunk, and Armageddon, a short-tempered and very powerful demon. They live together, bound by a curse, and their children were forced to stay under the same house as them. Little does Armageddon know, Myka's son has secretly harbored feelings for him the entire time. Will Ben ever confess his feelings? How will Armageddon even react?

"So, you'll talk to your dad about my portfolio, right?" asked the blonde as she tugged her dress back into place. "Because I'd really, really like to star in an independent film."
Ben chose not to bring up that she had been in several independent films before, as she'd bragged about, but who knew what porn was constituted as these days?
The girl, biting her lip, laced her shoes back on and started for the door. "Thank you for this opportunity, Mr. Foster."
He nodded, still laying on the ground in his boxers. "Close the door on your way out."
She nodded, walking out and closing the door, her lipstick still smudged all across her face.
Ben didn't even notice. He didn't care. He didn't even know her name. She was just another faceless beauty that he was using to get over his unrequited feelings for that powerful being just outside his window. Standing, he walked out to the balcony, feeling the cool dusk air on his skin, cooling off his heated body, and watched the people down below. It was that time of day that the demon would come out, for various reasons every day, but Benjamin wouldn't miss it for the world. This was his favorite time of day, after all.

And like clockwork, the man walked out into the open. His hair was a fiery red and his eyes were proud and feral, his navy blue coat billowed in the wind as he walked towards the giant building that resembled both a castle and a mansion. The demon paused for a moment to glance up at said building. Castletop Manor, his latest home. A grimace passed over his proud face before looking back at the door. He was forced to live here with the wife he was forced to marry. What a great way to live.

Carefully hidden by strategically placed curtains, Benjamin leaned on the railing and watched his stepfather walk the grounds. He never knew why the man always went out at this time, but he could only guess it was to escape Benjamin's mother, Myka.
A stunningly beautiful woman, Lady Myka Foster Apocalypse was vivacious and stubborn, and refused to allow anyone to pretend to be superior to her. She was deeply in love with her former husband, the late Damian Foster, and would often take audiences with King En in his study to speak of him. Lady Myka, far too prideful and proper to even attempt at a scandalous relationship, and King En, who was still mourning the loss of his true loves while celebrating his new marriage to the queen, were trusted to be alone together for hours on end, and were often seen around the castle, smiling and laughing as old friends often do.
Benjamin, however, didn't care to pay much attention to his mother or her friendships. All he saw was his seemingly-happily-neglected stepfather, and he dreamed of the day he'd say his true feelings.

Armageddon dug his hands into his pockets and was just about to pass through the front doors when someone opened it first. He blinked as a young girl nearly ran into him and raised an eyebrow at her. She shyly brushed some hair over her ear and stuttered a few things to him, but it was clear he wasn't interested in anything she had to say. Blushing again, the girl scurried off and left the demon to his thoughts, thoughts such as who the hell that was.
Armageddon walked through the doors and into the enormous hallways of Castletop. It was a very comfortable place to live, he had to admit. It had hundreds of occupied and unoccupied rooms, some housing royalty, some housing simple people. His kids were still out in that war, but he got a call from Gus yesterday, so he wasn't that extremely worried about them being in trouble. And if it came to that, he could probably talk to the almighty King of Darkness, King En. Unless, of course, he was busy with Myka. And he always was. Armageddon pursed his lips. The way those two acted was like an affair, but it didn't make sense. Myka was always persistent that she was in love with that brat from long ago, and En was busy focusing on the war. Maybe it was a friendship thing, who knows. As long as she stayed away from him, he'd be fine.

With a sigh, Benjamin ducked back into his bedroom to get dressed for the day, taking special care like he always did when his stepfather was around. After tugging on a grey button-up and pants, the young man shoved his hands into his pockets and started out and down the stairs, eyes searching for his newest family member. It didn't take long for him to see the handsome demon, and he stopped on the stairwell.
Ben pulled out his cell phone, pretending to play on it while his eyes looked up to his stepfather every few seconds. While playing a silly little game, he was practically stalking his stepfather. How strange.

Glancing around, Armageddon walked around the mansion, examining the people and the architecture. After a few minutes of wandering the halls he entered the massive courtyard and walked towards the trees leading to the forest behind the mansion. He stood in the shade and leaned his back against the tree, crossing his arms and pressing one foot against the trunk. He closed his eyes and felt the wind brush against his red hair, wallowing in the majesty of nature until the sound of bushes ruffling opened his eyes. He got of the tree and turned his head to see a large, gray wolf come out. The wolf looked old but still proud, and it looked up at the demon expectantly. A soft smirk spread across Armageddon's lips when he pet the animal's head, the wolf responding with a pant and a nuzzle against his hand. They stayed like that for several minutes until the wolf barked at him. Armageddon nodded and let his hand fall to his side as he watched the animal rush back into the forest.
He stayed watching the forest for a moment longer, the wind playing with his hair again. Suddenly, he turned his head and looked over his shoulder to Ben's direction. "So you gonna keep following me, kid, or what?" he called out.

Ben crossed his arms, his phone already put away. "Until I figure out what the hell you're doing," he answered, tilting his head. "Seriously, you're evil to everyone you meet, but to animals, you're a big ol' softy. Wait until Ma gets ahold of this."

"If you really wanna know, I was getting an old friend to watch over my kids for me." Armageddon grunted until he heard the kid mention something about showing someone a picture of him being nice. "Wha- Hey!" he fumed and strode over to the boy. "Don't even think of showing anyone that picture, kid!" he said and tried to get Ben's phone.

Ben danced away, arms still crossed. "Do you not want my mother, your wife, to see you being kind to animals?" he asked, tone mocking and teasing. "Calm it down, I didn't take a picture. I was just going to tell Ma about it."

The demon visibly relaxed when Ben said he didn't take the picture. "Good, she'll never believe you." he snickered and let his arms fall to his side. "If that annoying chick of your mom learns that I don't exactly kill everything around me, she'll just keep waving that piece of info in front of my face. That's the last thing I need, kid." he huffed. "Speaking of which, shouldn't you be helping her bake or something, kid?" he grunted.

"I don't bake, jackass," he corrected, eyes narrowing at the larger, handsome man. "Besides, she's with the king again. Something about how today's my parent's anniversary and she needs his help to get through it. You really are a terrible husband." With a disgusted grimace, the male leaned on a pillar and gazed up at his stepfather, eyes full of something strange. "Shouldn't you be lurking under someone's bed?"

"Look, kid, I didn't marry your mom 'cause I wanted to. That king she's all friendly around forced this to happen. Hopefully she's smart enough to try and talk him into lifting this damn curse." Armageddon grunted while scratching his ear. His eyebrow twitched when he heard the last comment. "Under-? The hell's that supposed to mean, you twerp?" he snapped. Suddenly, he smelled something. Blinking, he leaned in a little closer to Ben and sniffed the air. "Hey, you smell like that girl earlier." he noted and leaned back. "Alright, what'd you do this time?" he grumbled.

The boy rolled his eyes, looking away from the demon for a moment before turning back with a scowl. "I did whatever I wanted," he answered with a sneer. "As usual. Why do you care?"

"Because I want to know if it was in my room or not." Armageddon answered. "Jesus, how old are you, ten? Shouldn't your mom be yelling at you about this or somethin'?" He reached out and took some of Ben's hair. "And what's with the hair, kid? Tryin' to disguise yourself as a chick?"
