Ben was about to respond to the comment about his age, when his hair was suddenly grasped. His cheeks grew pink at the closeness, and it took him a moment to swat his stepfather's hand away and turn around. "Hey, I'm just trying it out, alright?" he snapped, crossing his arms and trying to will away the blush.

Wearing an unimpressed face, Armageddon lightly shook his hand. "Ya hit like a girl, too." he mused before noticing the boy's expression. Quirking an eyebrow, he reached out and flicked his nose. "What's up with the red face, kid? About to cry?" he snickered.

The blush darkened when Armageddon flicked his nose, and Ben waved his arms in an attempt to smack his stepfather's hand again, stepping back a bit. "Leave me alone, you bully!" he cried. "And I do NOT hit like a girl!"

"Wow, you just keep getting girlier by the second, kid." Armageddon chuckled and started poking Ben's chest, the other hand in his pocket. "What's next, breast implants? 'S that why that chick was here? Gettin' some advice, kid?"

The demon barked with laughter. "You're such a weakling! You must really liked being picked on, eh?" he snickered and ruffled his hair. "See ya later, kid." he said as he started walking away.

Seeing the man start to walk away, Ben immediately stepped closer. "Wait!" Standing beside his stepfather, the teen blushed once again and rubbed his arm. "I... I don't have anything to do, and Mom won't leave either of us alone about bonding..."

Armageddon turned his head to look at Ben. He stared at him for a good long while, allowing him a moment to let his own words register. "...Your ma can piss off." he said and turned back around. "Neither of us want to hang out together, we've both made that very clear. Just go find another chick to gossip with or something." he said with a dismissive wave of his hand as he continued walking away.

"She's already ridiculously difficult," he said, walking beside his stepfather. "Just walk out with me, drop me off at a bar, and then go. You won't have to actually spend time with me, and I'll get that woman off my back, and off of yours."

A sigh of defeat escaped him. Persistent like his stupid mom, he thought while turning to fully face him. "Fine. Any place in mind you wanna go, kid? There are tons of bars here."

"I don't care, so long as they have enough alcohol for her screechy voice to be covered up in my head," he answered, shoving his hands into his pockets as the wind lightly blew his silver hair. "I don't really know any of the bars around here."

Although the thought of this kid following him everywhere sent shivers down his spine, he had other things to worry about. "Nice try, kid. Do you even have a convincing ID? I don't need your mom yelling her a** off about some more crap I barely listen to."
