"No, you should-" Dragon paused and thought to himself. He'd no doubt get in trouble if Phoebe found out, and Phoebe was already sore with him. Sighing through his nose, the Wendigo crossed his arms and scoot to the opposite end of the couch to put as much distance between him and Oliver as possible. "Whatever." he grumbled.

Meanwhile, Spike roamed around outside, gazing at the field, or more the enormous crater that was created by the alpha's beast state. He could still sense remnants of the power that went into that. He sniffed and looked around. Power like this was sure to attract strong beings, so why hadn't any come? There was something in the wind, and he didn't like it.

Hearing Phoebe, Dragon stiffened then quickly turned his head to him. "No!" he spouted, embarrassed. "He just showed up!" He looked back at the TV then blushed and looked back. "He chose that show, not me!"

Phoebe rolled his eyes, walking inside and pecking Dragon's head before sitting on a chair nearby. He crossed his legs, pulling his cell phone out. "Either way, I', glad you're spending time with your brother. Speaking of, Adrian called. He said that he'll come by sometime tomorrow to drop off some of Oliver's things for his stay. You'll be cordial, right?" Although it sounded a little less like a question and more like a demand.

"'Drop off'?" Dragon whined. "Why isn't he picking him up? I don't want him here!" he complained. With a noise between a sigh and a growl, he angrily leaned back in his seat and crossed his arms. He shouldn't have been surprised. It was Adrian and Lena he was talking about, people he'd never consider parents. They were probably overjoyed to be able to get rid of another child so they could have whatever fun they wanted.

"He's not my brother!" Dragon snarled. In that fit of fury, his eyes flashed black and white, the same as his demon side's eyes. He quickly calmed down, not fully, but enough for his eyes to return to an angry clear blue that he aimed at the TV.

Spike glanced over his shoulder when Dragon yelled, not because he heard it it but because he could sense the surge of power that shot through the mansion. That was the Wendigo, no doubt. The surge diminished shortly, so Spike looked away to gaze out the window. He narrowed his eyes. Whatever was giving off the strange and powerful aura was closer now, he could sense it. And there was more than one, too. How many... Four? Five?
Spike's eyes widened as he caught movement out of the patch of trees nearby. It was big, far bigger than any wildlife. He had to stop them before they reached his angel!

Phoebe jumped at the sudden anger, stepping back a bit at the eyes he wasn't expecting. He remained silent for a moment, then grabbed the remote and turned off the television. "Fine, then he can be mine. Someone has to treat him like he's worth something, and if his blood can't be bothered, then I'll step up. After all, if there's anything I can relate to, it's being ignored by the very people I love most." Setting the remote down on the table, he picked up the sleeping child from the couch and carried him out, letting the door slam shut behind him.

Even when Phoebe stormed off Dragon refused to show anything other then anger. Of course he felt bad, but his young pride told him not to show it, and he listened. It was after a few minutes of Phoebe not coming back, however, Dragon began to show some concern. He knew he was mad, but... How mad was he? The idea made him feel bad, scared of having to face him. However, before he could dwell on it, he heard a scream from deep inside the mansion.
Running as fast as he could, he darted down the hallways to where the scream came from, seeing several servants staring out of the window in horror. When he asked them what was wrong, they replied by pointing at the window. Following his gaze, he saw Spike in the middle of a fight with several people. They looked like they were his age, even sporting school uniforms, but he could tell by the way they easily outmaneuvered Spike that they were no one to mess with.

"This guy's pretty strong," mused the one blonde man with a katana in hand. It glowed with a purple hue, like poisonous fumes. He moved his arms slowly and delicately, reminding Spike of water, yet every time the man's arm rested he found himself filled with far more cuts than his slash led him to believe. "Makes me wonder how tough the kid is. Think this guy's protecting him?"
"Could be. He's viciously protective of something we're close by," noted the smallest of the group, a girl with short, black hair. She gingerly held her hands up, keeping a barrier around that stopped Spike from running away from their range.
Spike huffed, trying to catch his breath. He was exhausted. There were cuts and gashes all over him, a cut over his eye where the blood blinded his left eye. These kids... They were so young, and they were human! How did they have so much power?! It was only this blonde kid fighting him too. The others were watching with little amusement. This power... it was on par with the Wendigo's!

Hearing the scream, Phoebe entrusted the child to Benson before rushing to a window. His eyes widened at the fight, initially believing Spike to be the one that instigated it, but he looked like he was losing. Crap. He carefully locked the sleeping child and his butler away, ordering servants to stay away from the windows before taking a deep breath and moving towards the door.
A small maid put her hand on his arm, concern in her eyes. "Master, no," she urged quietly.
He shook his head, smiling softly. "Everything is going to be okay, Rowan. Keep away from the windows, and if the defense should fail, you know what to do." After she nodded and moved away, he straightened his attire of a nice suit with no tie and an open collar, and opened the door. He tucked his hands into his pockets, casually strolling outside. "You know, this is private property," he said to the children. "I'm going to have to ask you to leave, and to stop harming my friend."
