In a world where magic is dying out along with the last of the wolf packs and most mythical creatures have long since died off, mankind spreads and thrives. Nathan cared not a bit for the old stories, growing up the son of a poor man and living to be a poor man himself. But even without luxury Nathan has found his own way of enjoying life as best he can. Caring not for saving, Nathan spends his earnings and focuses on enjoying the now, and not worrying about tomorrow. Tomorrow is for the rich men and kings to worry about, not a simple man like him.

He spends his days cutting wood and managing woodland, as his father did before him, and his nights are spent in the fine company of alcohol and whatever sweet company copper and silver can buy. Nathan is not picky; he beds whoever has the sweetest deal and softest skin.

One rowdy night after a cup or two too much of his favorite spiced rum, the man asks for the services of the wrong man a little too forcefully. The wrong warlock, to be more precise. Nathan wakes up sore and battered the next day, barely remembering the encounter past the part where aforementioned smooth-skinned warlock tossed him across the room and into a very sturdy table. Thinking bruises were his only souvenir of the encounter, he laughs it off with his local friends and continues on with his simple life.

Until the next full moon. Pain beyond anything Nathan had ever experienced fires through his blood, flesh, and bones, but that is not the end of his suffering. The next morning, he finds himself clothless and blood-smeared; and the body of the whore he'd been romancing before the pain flared up ... torn up with their organs half-eaten. Nathan left town in a hurry after that, his horror at what he'd so obviously been cursed into drowned beneath the rage at the warlock who'd done this to him. Nathan, blaming the warlock alone for this mess, grabs all the money he has (which is not much, and he can no longer touch the silver coins making a meager amount even more pitiful) and goes looking for someone, anyone, who can work magic and undo what has been done.

What I'm looking for during this RP + What I'm okay with:
-A MALE. <3 Well, a male who knows something about curses, is a warlock/wizard, or a guy who knows how to get in touch with one. Doesn't have to be human, though it might make sense if he is masquerading as one.
-Semi-realism. Not everything can be 'just because it's magic'. Magic has it's prices.
-I'm okay with most things; Just ask if hesitant and I'll say whether I'm okay with something not on this list (I'll most likely say yes, unless it is against the rules)~
-I'm okay if you need a few days, weeks, months, etc for real life important things/stressful events/just a general break. I hope you will be okay as well if I need the same~
-I work best with those who have their own plots and characters to push at me and help but-heads with my own ideas.
-I tend to 'give what I get' in terms of reply lengths, most of the time, unless we come to a lull + one-on-one conversation that requires shorter back-and-forths~
-I work with male characters; 99% of the time all of my characters will be male and gay. Or bi. I am sorry. I do not work well with female characters :C

Rules:
-Follow Gaia's TOS and the Guilds rules.
-Please keep magical/miraculous healing to a manageable level. I like my characters hurting (and time skips can be used to 'speed up' recovery times).
-Even those of non-human species should not be OP; strengths and weaknesses must be balanced (or as close to balanced as fire-breathing monsters can get). I find an even playing field to be more fun that an uneven one sometimes; even between humans and nonhumans.
-PM me with a message titled "Control that Animal" with your character information to apply.

Name: Nathan "Fetch" Soomer
Species: Cursed Human; Werewolf
Description: A Certain Mr Human; brown hair. Green eyes. And a certain large (but not too much larger than a normal gray wolf) Mr Woof
Age: 22
Strengths/Abilities:
-Turns into a rabid wolf on nights of the full moon. Can also be provoked into wolf form or half-transformed state during the cycle of the month when the moon is half, or more than half, full. [He cannot control himself in this state]
-Knows how to fight in a scuffle, and how to fight dirty. He does not have any formal training however; just things he's learned in bar brawls. Aka: Fetch knows how to fight hand-to-hand, but has no skills with weapons.
Weaknesses:
-Broke his left arm as a child; it healed awkwardly so he has little mobility with that arm and relies heavily on his right for most tasks. It also aches in rainy/cold weather. [He visibly limps when in wolf form and cannot put weight on that limb.]
-Massive Metabolism: Because of his curse, as the moon gets fuller Fetch needs far more calories than a regular human would. If he does not get two-to-three times the amount of food a human would need (at minimum) than Nathan will rapidly malnourish and starve.
-Cannot touch silver. It burns his skin and flesh wherever it comes in direct contact with him.
Skills:
-Woodsman; knows forests and how to semi-reliably catch food to barely live on.
Bio/Personality:
Nathan lived most of his life as a poor son of a woodcutter, and grew into a playboy troublesome woodcutter that spent most of his earnings on booze and whores (male and female). However, one night his drunken advances on a warlock led to him becoming cursed. The wild animal he loved to let loose was now a literal rabid wolf on nights of the full moon, attacking anyone and everyone ... with horrible consequences. With blood on his hands and a grudge on his shoulders Nathan has set out to distance himself from folks he cares about until he can find another warlock, witch, or wizard to undo the curse that has been placed on him.
Nathan is a very bold, unrestrained individual. He does what he wants when he wants to, and can be a shameless flirt. He intends to enjoy life to the fullest; which is hard to do with his current 'condition'. For one, most people want to kill and/or burn werewolves like him. For another as wild as he is, Nathan does not want to deal with being a literal animal for the rest of his life.
Pondering Plot Words: Unleashed appetite. Desprite. 'Us' against the world. Discrimination. Pet, or master? Call of the Wild ... or Can he be tamed? Unruly behavior from an unruly animal.

Killer_Kiwi_XD
Name: Calie'l Messian
Species: The graceful race. They are red-skinned and have spines instead of hair. They reproduce slowly. They worship a pantheon of gods and goddesses. They believe the powers that be are intimately involved in their lives. Most religious observation is personal and intimate. Their government is ethical in its own way/ Human Wizard
Description: Calie'l Most of the time he looks human because of his powers. He is a rare half breed among the human but to his own people his kind are common and loved. When his magic fades his eyes turn almost reptilian yellow and his skin turns a tan red. He naturally has spike down his spine but he hides them under his clothes.
Age: 230 but looks about 19
Strengths/Abilities: Magic is his greatest strength.
Quick healing
Agile
Weaknesses: His magic wavers often.
Unstable control (largely of his magic)
Poison (his healing cannot counteract it)
Anger (This effects him in a different way than his unstable control. It goes both for himself and others. Others being angry with him causes him to shut down but his own anger makes him lose all control and he often hurts people)
Others of his race frighten him often to the point of violence.
Skills: He can write
He can cook
He is a great herbologist.
He is a great climber
Bio/Personality: On a good day Calie'l is nothing but sweet and kind. He loves people and children, will do anything for them, but on a bad day it is another story. He can be effortlessly harsh and cruel, he tends to forget that other people have feelings, and he gets into fights a great deal of the time. He has a fear of his people because there are always bad eggs in every race and Calie'l has always been unlucky enough to run into the worst of the worst with his people. He is not the biggest fan of most humans either so it is very hard to get on his good side.

He doesn't often curse people, only if he feels they really deserve it, but sometime a simple spell gets a bit more complicated. In general though Calie'l is caring, and smart as a whip, his anger just can get the best of him.
Pondering Plot Words: Anger for the world. Fear. There is no 'us'. Reluctant. Despises the TAME. Willing.

List of Information and Characters added after RP start:
-Boar's Head: The local town Inn run by a large muscular woman.
-Father (otherwise known as an Abbatis in formal church settings) Lucas Candidus. He is an albino priest currently tracking Nathan. Wears spectacles and a silver cross necklace. His skin is sunlight sensitive. He has magical power, but it comes at a cost to his eyesight; continued use of his magic will eventually leave him permanently blind.
-Veri'l Messian. Calie'l's brother. The two are almost as different as night and day, and like real siblings can go from Calie'l kicking Veri'l's a** to the two quietly teasing each other's hair. Veri'l is a traveler and trader, 'braving' the human world because he enjoys to stay on the move (while his brother prefers his set-down roots). Can be snarky and over-the-top with dramatics, but almost always outwardly and inwardly calm, laid-back.
-Gabriel. A not-so-pure angel. Has blue eyes and long hair. Has two black scars on his shoulder blades where his wings once were; they were cut off by acolytes of the church, taking most of his memories of his life off of Earth as an angel. Lucas is his mentor. After healing Lucas' deteriorating eyes, it was revealed to the priest his protegee was in fact the Gabriel, and an angel capable of birthing nephilem, which their coupling unintentionally produced.
-Egg. Egg! Will supposedly birth a nephilem.

The moon hung high and dark in the stary sky, and Nathan could almost feel the light coming down on him, making the hair on the back of his neck stand on end. Even when it was nothing more than a thin scythe hanging high above, the cursed man was all too aware of the heavenly body glaring sleepily down upon him at this late hour. Because as thin as the moon was, as the nights passed on after another it was going to wax and fatten into a full, unignorable eye that would make his blood boil and bones crunch down under its mighty ******** you,” the tired traveler grumbled not for the first time up at the moon, spitting a glob of saliva down to the side of the dirt road as he pulled his pack higher over his shoulder so he could better carry its laden weight. Clothes, coins, and provisions were scrunched down into the simple worn bag, faithfully holding all of Nathan's possessions as he saw his destination as he reached the top of a small hill. Just over the top of the tree line he could see the hint of buildings, and glow of torch and lantern lights far ahead of him down the road. Civilization; a rare but welcome sight for now. The unshaven man picked up his pace, trotting and panting as he hoped the town would in fact be home to an actual wizard … and an eager anticipation of a warm bed and full meal to be drowned down with booze awaited him at the local inn kept his stamina up even after his long day's walk.

The woodsman kept his head down while his green eyes read as best they could the town signs with only sporadic lighting and suspicious-looking guards-folk glaring at him as he made his way through the quaint sort of town that was close to the woodland river. Nathan didn't know whether it was some sort of logging town or what, and he frankly didn't care. The second he laid eyes on the inn sign reading: Boar's Head with a painted picture of a fierce-looking swine's ugly face screaming silently down at the street, Nathan found what he wanted for the night. He didn't bother kicking the dirt and mud off of his shoes, instead just walking right in and heading to the large woman who was behind the bar and giving orders to the more petite (and possibly-pretty) serving girls.

“Any room here for a weary traveler looking for food and lodging,” Nathan said with a tired smile, trying to look charming at the boarish woman looking down her nose at him, chin lined with a few dark bristles and an unfortunate wart sprouting very visibly right above one of her bushy black eyebrows.

“S'all full-up,” she huffed at him and his thin, poor-looking appearance. “We ain't a charity here. So if yer expectin' hand-outs--”

“No, no I'm good, I have coin,” Nathan was quick to assert, his weak smile quickly falling as he looked around. Even for the middle of the night, there were folks crowding the place pretty well; she didn't seem to be lying. And Nathan would much rather sleep outdoors than beg for floorspace that likely had a faint smell of urine or vomit attached to it. Scrubbed or not, wood was rather good at soaking in those sorts of thing, Nathan had come to learn in his travels. “Just get me a good swig of whatever passes as ale here, and a big slice of whatever's roasting,” he sighed, pulling his pack around to lay in his lap while he dug around through his belongings to pull out his purse, putting a whole heap of copper coins into the table.

The innkeeper wrinkled her nose at the mass before carefully counting out the payment amount one coin at a time before sweeping most of the lot into her large hand and getting one of the server girl's attention so Nathan's cut of goat would get cut and plated. Quickly while the master of the inn herself poured his drink.

“You know, in my travels I heard there was a wizard 'round these parts,” Nathan tried to say as casually as possible, with very little luck. It was two hours too late in the evening for subtlety, and he just wanted to know whether his trip had been in vain or not sooner rather than later. “Pretty silly, huh?”

The mountain of a woman stiffened just a second, and it was hardly noticeable because a moment later she was shrugging her shoulders. “Nah sirre, none of those,” she was very quick to say; too quick. “Jus' the young teacher who lives outside of town. He's odd, but he tain't no wizard or nothin' of that nasty sort. Real nice fella; kids love him. Even willin' ta learn their letters 'cause of him, which is more then most of what their parents know.” She planted the cup down firmly in front of Nathan, just in time for his hunk of goat to be served; still steaming and smelling of smoke from the fire it had been hanging over.

Nathan didn't reply, taking a thirsty gulp of the beer and glad it didn't taste too watered down. It was in a nice large cup too, with froth lightly over the top of it as he took a old slighty-rusty fork and knife to cut into the hot meat while it was still sizzling, taking swigs of the beer while he ate to cool the meat in his moth and to help it slide down all the faster. He ate like a half-starved man and almost looked the part; he'd had bad luck the last week or so finding enough food to sate his hunger, and was glad the moon wasn't too big in the sky. He'd have been far worse off closer to his 'time of the month' with luck like this. The goat meat was tough and stringy, but it filled his belly. And with one extra cup of beer Nathan decided at least the trip hadn't been a total waste.

Not like he had anything to waste at this point; he had nothing to do but keep looking. And judging by the inn keeper's reaction to his question, the cursed man figured the weird hermit living outside of town might just be something other than a regular human. So who knew; maybe even if he wasn't a wizard he could still be useful in finding one. And either way … Nathan's eyes followed the serving girls as he stood and left for the night, planning to return to the inn and buy himself a little something extra after he spoke to the guy.

Not knowing exactly where this 'teacher' was staying, Nathan walked a slow pace with his tired feet down the road out of town, carefully keeping his eyes peeled and searching the dark woods for a frustrating hour before finding the building. Though it looked far more like some run-down shack instead of a place someone could actually manage to live. Frustrated after his long night and with the light buzz from the drinks he'd had feeling long gone, Nathan marched up to the front door and knocked loudly … and was surprised when his hard knocking managed to accidentally open the door a bit.

“Hell—Sorry mate! You should really have a lock on this rotted old … thing?” Nathan's brow furrowed, because looking down … the floor looked a hell of a lot nicer than the door did. Letting the door swing fully open, the cursed man stepped in uninvited and just looked around with wide eyes; both in awe and with the hope he'd thought long-dead stirring into very real and eager life. Holy God in heaven; whatever this 'teacher' was he was magic. That was for sure. The first magic Nathan had seen since he'd gotten cursed; and in nearly made him dizzy with the possibility of being able to actually be human again. There was a big, stupid grin on Nathan's face, and he let his pack fall to the floor with a dull thump. He wasn't leaving anytime soon; not until he convinced this wizard or whatever to help him out.

Because it surely took magic of a powerful sort to make a place ten times nicer on the inside than it was on the outside, right?

Calie'l sat on his porch with a smile on his face, a few children lingering in his yard as they laughed and giggled, he had grown very used to the children coming by his home during the day and into the setting sun. They would come to learn from him, to be taught and read, a few of them told him exciting stories of how they taught their parents what they had learned. He had grown used to their presence so the playful shouts and giggles didn't incite the panic that it would for most people. Calie'l smiled as the children ran up to him, happily climbing on him and playing with the spines down his back.

He didn't hide for the children, not like he did for most people, he had a warning system that told him if anyone was approaching so it was safe for him. As the day started to get darker, heading into night, Calie'l pulled his shirt on and escorted the children out of the forest and into town. He saw them to their homes one by one, being sure that they would be safe, as always a few of the parents tried to pay him with what little coin they had and Calie'l turned them down. He had all the funds he needed from his mother back home, and his magic, he hadn't the need to take pay from those who needed it more than he did. A few people were not so kind, growling out a thank before pulling their children inside, but Calie'l ignored it as he made his rounds.

By the time the last child was safely in their home it was dark. Calie'l looked up at the sky, staring at the moon for a moment, then he started his walk back to his home. It would seem it was heading close to the full moon again… which meant that Calie'l would be receiving at least on quest sometime soon. He had a deal with the keeper of the inn, one she was more than happy to commit to, she was not to tell anyone that he was a wizard. She knew only because she had met others like him but she had agreed she would tell no one about him. He was just the teacher outside of town and those who truly needed a wizard would come looking for him.

Calie'l passed the inn, watching a whole bunch of people entering while other loitered outside. There had been a lot of visitors to town, more people moving in, the keeper would need to build a bigger inn if she was going to keep up. Calie'l waved to a few people before heading on his way back out of town and too his own home. Calie'l wandered into his home, lighting a few candles and the fire place, he wondered who would end up coming to his home tonight.

Calie'l started up something to eat, mainly filled with potatoes and few things he crew in his garden out back, it wouldn’t be long before someone came to his hope so after he had made his food Calie'l sat down with a book on spells and started reading so that he could hopefully help whatever poor soul came knocking on his door. The majority of the time they were just humans looking to curse someone or lift a curse on someone, rarely did Calie'l have someone come to his home that was a creature and even rarer did his home open the door for said creature.

Then again he had enchanted the house to have a sort of mind of its own so Calie'l had learned not to be surprised by when it would open its door. Of course when he heard a few angry knocks and then suddenly the door he had locked was swinging open to reveal a rather raggedy man stepping in and staring in wonder at his home. The man stepped in unannounced, dropped what he was carrying, and seemed to be stunned. Calie'l stared at the man for a few moments, the man seeming to not have noticed him off to the side of the main room, then he sighed and stood.

"You know it's very rude to enter someone's home unannounced." Calie'l set his book down, easily changing the cover so that the other man wouldn’t know exactly what he was reading. "Obviously you came here for a reason and you certainly don't seem to surprised by my home so what do you want. Be quick, I don't have much patience." Calie'l started moving about his home, easily having the spike on his back hidden, he could tell the man was afflicted by something.

Calie'l took in as much of the man as he could, the gaunt appearance and the way he carried himself, he could tell it was something that affected the man constantly but seemed to be growing in rate. There were several things that the man could be afflicted from but Calie'l was hoping it was one of the easier ones to solve. "Who cursed you and with what? I have seen a few curses in my day and whatever curse you are under… it's very strong." Calie'l stepped up to the other man and grabbed his chin, twisting his head about as he stared at his eyes. He could see it there, like a brand, just beyond the eyes. How bright it burned told him how strong the curse was and the insignia told him which wizard but that wasn't much help because most wizard were so few and far between that contacting one that had curse another was near impossible unless you hunted them down.

Calie'l stepped away as the kettle he had put on the fire screamed and then the pot was pouring it's self into a cup with tea leaves before setting aside as Calie'l grabbed the cup and sat back in his chair. That pot was a trinket, not actually his magic, someone he had known paid him with it instead of gold for a rather difficult task and Calie'l had been more than happy to accept. Even more so now as he sipped on his chair and waited for the other to tell him his ailments. Calie'l could easily find out without the other telling him but it was easier to have someone tell him and then know if they are lying.

Nathan whipped his head around at the sound of a strange voice, finally setting eyes on the owner of the house. Truth be told, Calie'l didn't look like much to Nathan; just a young man. Younger even than he was, and babyfaced to boot. The woodsman raised an eyebrow, surprised at the authoritative way the 'kid' was speaking but just rolled with it.

"I did knock," he replied, as if that was announcment enough o enter through an 'unlocked' door, moving a boot to nudge his pack off against the wall and out of the way while he talked. "Well ya see, a warlock cursed me. I was hoping, if you're as much of a wizard as you look to be, you could help me out." Nathan had heard a rumor several towns back that there was a wizard--this wizard--was a kinder sort willing to lift curses ... if it was in his power. Beyond that, Nathan knew next to nothing about the man in front of him ... though with that babyface the guy would probably be a decent enough bedmate. Nathan was too keyed up over getting the damned curse done and rid of to mess around on that front at the moment, though.

"Who ... I don't really know, mate. Didn't have much chance to get a name. Even if he did say something to that point, I was drunk off my a**. As for with what ... it's the," Nathan cleared his throat, gritting his teeth. "Werewolf. Man-beast. Every full moon I'm no man, and sometimes when the moon is close to full I can still change into a ... a monster. A rabid, mindless, ******** wolf," Nathan half-growled, fists clenching. It felt like confessing; squeezing the dirty secret out that most folks would kill him if they knew. "I ... I'm not contagious though. If I bite someone, they don't get my curse. T-that's good, right?" Nathan asked with a hint of his real desperation behind the anger.

He thought that if he wasn't contagious like all the stories say, surely he had to be easy to get better, right? Though ... it was not that simple. The 'contagious' nature of the curse was not present unless the cursed man or woman was a magic user themselves; to curse people it took magic. Just because Nathan had none of his own didn't mean the curse he had placed upon him was any less strong; as Calie'l had already said.

Nathan did a double-take as the tea pot over on the fire suddenly decided to up and pour itself for the wizard, the simple woodsman trying not to let his jaw drop at the sight. It was easy to hear stories and legends about enchanted objects, curses, and wizards. It was another thing entirely to be standing in one's living room.

"Look, it's like this," Nathan said, stepping so he could stand in front of the seated redheaded wizard while he spoke, arms gesturing as he spoke, desperation seeping into his tone like the tea leaves seeping in the hot water. "I don't just get to be a wolf for a few nights and do a dog's life. I black out and ... just wake up after. And every, single, damned, time I wake up I'm bloody, naked, and--well damn someone or something is either dead or dying a few stones through from where I lay. Every damned time. I've tried drinking into a stupor, bonding myself with rope or leather, and nothing works, the damned wolf always manages to hurt some poor b*****d and ... I don't want to be a monster for the rest of my life. And during the nights with a fuller moon sometimes I feel like a mad dog myself ..."

Nathan sighed heavily, right hand rising to grip and roll his left shoulder a bit in an old nervous habit. "I just need to know ... can you help me or not, wizard?" He was tired, and had no more leads beyond this one.

Calie'l sat silently and listened to the other man, seemingly indifferent to the situation, as the others desperation and agitation flood up and spilled over Calie'l just sat and silently listened. He sipped his tea, watched the others motions and took in the way he held himself, he could see the rising tide of the others panic in his movements and while he knew how to help he also knew all the aggression the other man was feeling towards his situation was not helpful at all. Calie'l stared as the other started coming down from his rant and set the cup to the side.

"The curse you are dealing with has many different levels… I suggest you take a seat while I explain this." Calie'l motioned and a chair came and knocked into the back of the others knees to sort of force him to sit down. "I request you stay calm and respectful while I explain because information is key in these situations and the more that you know… the better and easier this will be." Calie'l reached into a stack of books and pulled out one on wolf curses, flipping easily through the pages, before he stopped. "This curse is a bit harder to decipher than most, hard to put on someone and even harder to remove, who ever you pissed off was not only very strong but… they didn't just want you dead they wanted you to have to suffer until you died of natural causes." Calie'l crossed his legs and scanned the page slowly.

"A feeding force to this curse is your aggression and fowl temper but at the same time it is not… that. You see while you have these black outs and no control it is because in your head you and the beast are separate creatures. That is dictated by the curse, not you, so you can't go suddenly thinking you are one in the same and it will make it better. The curse makes it so while the beast is you it is the pure animal inside of you." Calie'l flipped the book around to show Nathan a picture of two different types of Lycanthrope. He pointed to a full wolf versus the two legged counterpart.

"This is most likely the form that you take but I would have to see your transformation in order to know that bit. If you are one of these I can easily alter the curse, nothing more than a simple trick, make you so you know what you are doing and can control yourself but otherwise you are stuck with this curse unless you can find the Wizard that cursed you. That is not set though because I do not know if you are for sure the full wolf… if you are more Lycanthrope than that's when things get… complicated." Calie'l flipped the page and showed the other a few more detailed pictures.

"This one is designed to curse not only you but those you have interactions with… It enters your blood, makes you completely the creature, but should you have relations with any woman and she give you any children then they will receive the curse. It's a bloodline curse at that point and it will take a great deal more effort for me to alter this one… this one can also not be alleviated. I can turn it back unless you know the wizard and you can return to the so that they can lift it." Calie'l closed the book.

"Both have similar strengths so I will not know which one you are until the change. I have a room you can be locked away in for the duration and until then you will stay here so that I can figure this all out, perhaps alleviate some symptoms for the time being, but for now you are at a standstill. You have made a great leap by reaching me though so for that you should be happy." Calie'l smiled at the other clasped his hands together waiting for the others reaction.

Nathan mostly fell into the chair that bumped into him, mouth open but no sound came out; though his expression was surprised enough. He sat uneasily a few moments, looking down at the chair and just seeming to make sure it wasn't going to be doing any more moving before turning his gaze back to the wizard as he started speaking. The woodsman listened attentively, confused and worried but very quickly gripping onto the fact that this guy could and apparently would help him. It was the best news he'd had in a long, long while; though for a moment the bloodline thing worried him before he almost laughed at himself. No, no; he'd been careful since he was seventeen with those sorts of things. He did not and would not have any kids running around until he wanted too; it was simple enough to make sure even when having fun. Besides, he'd gotten used to using the non-babymaking way of loving; which was also why he didn't mind whether his partner was male or female. Either sex could take it up the a** just fine.

He let the other facts and images wash over him, just focusing on the fact that it looked like this wizard could make things better. Though ... as Calie'l did come to a close, Nathan did nod a little to himself, before moving his gaze from the old book's pages to the wizard's smiling face. "I am; I'm really happy. Relived, mostly. Even to just make sure it doesn't--to make sure I don't eat anyone ..." Nathan ran a hand through his greesy unwashed hair, still a little disconnected from the fact the wolf ... might be an actual part of him. He knew he liked to be wild but ... Damn, the wolf was rabid, violent, and untrustworthy as far as Nathan was concerned, and he couldn't see himself as those things.

"I promise, I'll pay you back for this. I'm no rich man, but I know how to work the woods, and this place has plenty of that. Need meat, skins, bones, firewood, wild berries, fresh song bird eggs; I'll get all I can of what you need. Letting me shack up with you, that's real swell of ya. Real ... nice," he said, looking around at the piles of books before moving to stand up. "I'll move my things to wherever it is you'll be having me. Then I'll head out for a bit and come back for a sleep after," Nathan said simply, craving some ... 'warm comforts' of the soft and feminine kind. And, well, some time to be away from the magic oddities and to just properly digest all of what the wizard had told him. Completely forgetting the everyday niceties like giving his name, and asking for the wizard's in return.

Calie'l watched the other with critical eyes even though he showed a smile on his face then he stood along with the man and grabbed his arm. "You won't be leaving tonight. I need to test a few things with you still here, mild incantations, better done sooner than later. I need to give you a few things as well and you need to stay away from any general… comforts beside maybe a drink here or there. I do not want a risk to this. You just so happen to screw up and father a child then this becomes impossible unless you want to run around killing children." Calie'l knew what the others words meant and instead of letting the other grab his thing Calie'l grabbed them.

"If we do this we do it my way. No offense to you but I have had several people come for my help and then ruin it all because they couldn’t follow simple rules." Calie'l started for the door which one would assume was the back door and instead it opened into a hall with stairs. Bigger on the inside apparently and Calie'l was more than happy to show off to the other that he was quite powerful. "Just so you know this home is enchanted so all you see is not currently powered by me. The house has a mind of it's own and it will lead you where either I or it sees fit should you decide to try and take a tour on your own." Calie'l opened a door close to the stairs and showed a rather lavish room.

"Ask the house and she'll tell you where to go if you are hungry or anything of the sort. If you should need me as well you won't even need to ask because the halls will take you there. For now I will let you settle and grab a few things myself. I will return shortly to perform a few incantations." Calie'l set Nathans things down and headed for the door "My name is Calie'l by the way. You are free not to give me yours… I'll find it out weather you do or don't" Calie'l felt a grin etch it's way onto his face and he chuckled before he left.

He hurried to his study, he needed to grab a few things, the front room of his shack though was a good decoy to distract people who wanted to find him. Calie'l searched through jars and jars of supplies, books, and other things that he would need. It took him a bit of time but finally he returned with several objects and a pot filled with herbs. Calie'l set the kettle and started the fire before he grabbed his book and started reading a few things.

Nathan stiffened at the wizard grabbed his arm, relief turning into weariness. Considering his track record with magic users it likely wasn't surprising that despite all of his profession of thanks he was not exactly ... well, comfortable. And getting told he wasn't abut to get any for the foreseeable future was really not pleasant news to hear; not to mention how insulting it was for the wizard to insinuate he was some stupid-a** kid likely to ******** up the wrong hole. As old as he was (roughly half way through life already; for humans of his age and class) the road-worn man bit his tongue and reluctantly followed after the wizard, mentally reminding himself of what had happened the last time he'd gotten on the wrong side of someone who could sling magic around.

Giving his left arm a rub, he followed Calie'l cautiously deeper into the bigger-on-the-inside-than-it-is-on-the-outside house, impressed and disquieted by the broken laws of physics and space all at once. Hearing the house made some of its own decisions was ... not very reassuring. Wherever the power came from ... it sure as hell wasn't his to command, or even remotely understand. Nathan hurried over to where his pack had been put down, grabbing it as if for reassurance before giving the so-named Calie'l a bit of a sour look. Sure, he should really not even do that much, but the cursed man couldn't help it. He lived to enjoy life, not to get sequestered away because some baby-faced magician wanted to be all 'I know better than thou'. So, out of spite (and to keep from snapping one smart comment or another) Nathan kept his mouth shut. The damned know-it-all could get his own answers.

Turning to the room he'd been given, the man scratched at his beard and heaved an uneasy sigh. He felt like a pauper in a prince's room. Things were too ... too much. The bed was too big, the pillows too fluffy-looking, and far too many luxurious items of unknown use were sitting all around the place. Nathan looked around wearily (as if expecting the wizard or house to somehow be peeping in on him) before pulling off his jacket and heading over to the wash-bin. There was a bin of lukewarm water, with a towel near by and a mirror right in front of it. Nathan splashed his face and washed his hair to get the dirt out, at least, before drying and staring a good few moments at his own, almost unfamiliar reflection. He'd lost weight; but hopefully the wizard could magic up food ... or the house could. Whatever; so long as there was enough food for four-to-seven meals a day, he would be back to his usual weight in no time. Maybe tomorrow he would bother to try trimming up his hair and scrapping off the worst of his beard so he was a little more presentable. Maybe a bath too, if he could find a bathing room in this mad house.

"You're sure as hell in over you head now, Fetch," Nathan sighed at himself. Really, he missed the nicname all his friends had called him by. But he'd just gotten used to giving his given name on the road, so Nathan had just ... stuck. He missed his friends; his old life. Every time he took a second to stop and breath and think, he missed it. Which made his sourness for getting 'stuck' here all the more bitter, but Nathan figured magic house or not he'd be able to find a way to sneak out sooner or later.

So, a bit more cleaned up even if most of him still smelled of travel dirt and dried sweat, Nathan sat on the large, cushy bed and just settled down to wait for the wizard to pop up with whatever incantations he was going to do, so he could get his cursed a** some sleep. Though as he sat there the woodsman drifted off, chin falling to his chest for an unplanned snooze for an unknown amount of time until he snapped awake at the noise of the door to his room opening, coming all awake at once at the unfamiliar sound and snapping his head around to look--only to cuss 'cause moving that quick at that odd angle made him pull something a bit too tight. Cursing lightly to himself, Nathan rubbed at his neck and looked at Calie'l with a soft sigh.

"So, Cal, you find out my name yet?" he chirped, unable to be a smart a** sometimes. He purposely shortened the other's name; sure the longer pronunciation was not what Nathan was used to but he was sure with a little practice it wouldn't be too hard. But he wasn't about to say it wrong; he would practice when he had time and when the other was busy magicking-up a cure. For now he was curious as to what kind of incantations the other would do; and planning on going to sleep ofter to get a good night's rest so sneaking out on the 'morrow for some fun would a refreshing adventure.

Calie'l looked at the other when he spoke, being a smart a**, and he raised an eyebrow. He took a few deep breaths and looked back to his book. "Nathan. Now stop being a smart a**. I know you hate this and I don't mean any insult but I want to get you FIXED. This curse is very dangerous and your bitter attitude doesn’t help. Just so you KNOW I have a right to be as smart as I am… I have spent the last 2 years of my life studying and working to be what I am. I know this is all strange for you and hard but I need you to just try and adapt because I cannot make this any easier for you." Calie'l searched through the book than started mixing things together before hand Nathan a cup of some sort of drink.

"Drink that. It should help with anything that's currently building. Also don't call me Cal… Anything but that is just fine with me. I don't know you very well and that’s a very private custom for my people." Calie'l didn't say it harshly just with a slightly sad tone before he went back to his book and started muttering some things under his breath. There would be no glowing light, no special swirls or feeling, Calie'l was just have the book in his hands take down all the information on Nathan.

It gave him the other mans age, name, and origin of birth as well as a base history. It was a bit intrusive but it also gave some light to what Calie'l was dealing with. "Remember that if you want anything you need just ask the house. Simple say where you want to go and the house will send you there." Calie'l made one more cup, this time with what looked to be tea, then he started packing up. "Drink the tea, it will keep any nightmares at bay, it promotes good dreams as well as helping you fall asleep steadily instead of a complete crash. I the morning I will have food for you." Calie'l stood with his thing then looked back to Nathan.

"I know this is hard but I just need you to follow my instructions. For your own safety and mine just listen and I will get you out of this situation alright?" Calie'l left after that, feeling moderately frustrated, he started putting his things away and then went to his own room so that he could bathe. The house already had a warm bath filled with rose oil and tea tree oil in it along with plenty of bubbles. Calie'l chuckled and undressed before sliding into the bath. His skin instantly turn red, the warmth bringing out his race, before he just leaned back and relaxed in the water.

"Be nice to our guest girl. I know you will get excited for what ever you feel he is intended for but take it slow… He has a very difficult curse on him and I have a feeling this will not get easier." Calie'l chuckled as the water rippled without warning and he sighed. "Good girl… The children will be by in the morning so wake me early yes?" The water rippled again and Calie'l just smiled.

"Look, I've had a long ******** day. You don't want me to be a smart a**, talk to me once I've gotten some actual shut eye," Nathan sighed, running a hand down his face. He gave a snort at being told to 'adapt after only having been in this crazy house for less than an hour already. "I'll try; can't promise any more than that, Wiz," the man replied truthfully with a new nic-name for the other on the spot, taking the concoction offered to him and quickly gulping it down. It was a bitter brew, but Nathan wasn't about to complain on that front; he had other things to gripe about. Like being a damn celibate until he was better, which was not something he was willing to go through. Call him a sex addict, but Nathan didn't care. He'd lost so much of his old comforts and ways of life that being able to at least satisfy his body in that way was one of the very few comforts he had left, and clung to it like a flea to a dog.

"Damn, that tasted worse than hair 'o the dog after a hard night," Nathan commented with a grimace, though it was less a complaint and more just a comment. He had no idea what exactly could be 'currently building' in him, and figured the wizard was just talking about magic and whatnot. "Nice house. Though even with all the enchantments its--she's got, that she doesn't have a harem hidden around the corner somewhere," Nathan sighed with a small smile, trying to make light of the situation with a joke. Even a uneducated man like him knew making people to ******** out of thin air was beyond magic's power. Only God could make life from next to nothing; so unless Calie'l was secretly a baby-faced horndog and kept a lot of women hidden around the house, Nathan doubted he'd be getting any fun times during his stay. In this house at least ...

Nathan didn't show much curiosity with what Calie'l was doing muttering at a book, but just put the cup to the side, and tried to not stare bemusedly at the lavish room around him.

Nathan's past was not too surprising; he was a woodcutter that was the son of a woodcutter. Both parents deceased, only one living sibling who was already married. He'd lived his whole life in the small town he was born in until he'd been cursed. No significant others; no ties beyond the friends he'd had before he'd been cursed. Friends he'd lost pretty quickly the first night he'd woken up after tearing into a whore with undeniable evidence of what he'd turned into all over the place. Along with eye witnesses ... yeah. He hadn't been welcome back after that, and likely wouldn't be ever allowed to go back without the possibility of getting burned at the steak. Murderous rampaging wolves didn't exactly get second chances.

"Yeah, yeah Alright," Nathan sighed tiredly at Calie'l's repeated stressing of how important listening to him was, looking about as frustrated as Calie'l felt. But the man took the offered tea and was glad it wasn't half as bitter a brew as the first cup had been, blowing over the top of the steaming herbal remedy before sipping it down after the wizard left him to his own devices. Nathan hardly thought he needed tea to help him sleep, even with his frustrations keying him up a little, but drank the stuff down with both brews sitting warmly in his stomach as he pulled off his clothes and just let the dirty garments fall to the floor, getting under the oddly-plush bed covers and blowing the lantern by the bed out.

The next think Nathan was concious of was the fact he was feeling a lot more refreshed; and there was light streaming in from his bedroom window. Nathan groaned lightly, stomach feeling desperately empty and his 'frustrations' having built up into something else rather impossible to ignore. Seeing as he was already in a bed, Nathan decided to try to take care of himself first and didn't need much time to do so, though by the end of it he was still feeling the need for a proper warm body the next chance he got.

With a sigh, the woodsman sat up and got out of bed, heading to where he assumed the bathroom door was and cautiously opening it ... only to sigh in relief when it was, in fact, a bathroom. With real, honest-to-goodness indoor pipework, which was almost as much a marvel to Nathan as the moving chair and teapot had been; he was far more used to holes in the ground and outhouses instead of actual pipework; most places didn't have anything near as fancy as this. And the tub was already full of warm water! Shaking his head and grinning, Nathan proceeded to wash the worst of the stink off of his body and quickly turned the water a dirty color as he scrubbed the grit and grime off of himself. "You sure are one sweet lady. Cal ... Calieel ... Calieal," Nathan pattered off, just playing with saying the wizard's name properly as he washed up, eventually managing it as he was was drying off. "Calie'l--Ha! Calie'l sure is lucky to have you. If you had lips, I'd give you a thankful kiss, or three," Nathan commented, then turned as he heard a drop of water fall into the tub. He paused a moment, wondering if there was a leak of some sort and even looking up at the roof for a crack or waterspot where water might be getting in, but the sound did not repeat itself.

"Now, all I need is about five helpings of breakfast and I'll be good to go," Nathan said to himself, opening the door and expecting to see his bedroom so he could grab fresh clothes and wash his old dirty ones ... but he found himself stepping into the kitchen instead with the smell of cooking food whacking his nose and making his mouth water. And all he had on was a towel around his waist.

He hesitated, wondering whether he could find a robe of somesort in the bathroom but then decided he didn't ******** care; he was damned hungry and food was right there. Nathan strolled into the kitchen and looked over the wizard's shoulder at the cooking foods, swallowing down his pooled saliva before it could drool out of his mouth. "Where do you keep the plates?" Nathan asked, getting right to the point of the matter. All he needed was a plate and fork to serve himself; no need to treat the wizard like some serving girl. Though Nathan was still craving a good lay around; that would have to be taken care of after breakfast. Or second breakfast. Or third. Nathan was sure he was going to stuff his face until he couldn't possibly eat anymore, because damn well needed the carbs.

Nathan grabbed up his own plate and grabbed a fork, spearing some sizzling meats and even grabbing vegetables; he pretty much piled onto his plate a healthy amount of everything Nathan had been cooking onto his plate before sitting down and proceeding to eat with a concentrated focus on his chewing and swallowing. Going as fast as one possibly could while still tasting and enjoying his food. Though he did figure the wizard must've been up a while to have already had everything pretty much ready to eat by the time he'd come from his bath.

The woodsman did look a lot less desperate in daylight than he had last night, at least. He was a bit leaner than a man with such wide, strong shoulders should be, but at the rate he was eating a normal person would be bulked back up in no time ... though it might take longer for Nathan get up in weight, considering how fast his body burned off calories. And it would only burn them off faster as the moon got fuller. Nathan had rough-skinned hands, and a few ghosts of scars here-and-there on his body from boyhood accidents and adulthood nonsense. He'd cleaned up well, with his hair and beard trimmed down to a more manageable level though the other hairy places on his figure were easy enough to see with most of his body exposed as it was.

"Thss stffs dlicssh," (this stuff's delicious), Nathan informed the Wizard before swallowing and looking around. "You never did tell me; what do you need around here? I'm not an invalid; I can cut firewood, or fatten up your meat stores if you need me to." Plus, you know, it would be a good excuse to escape the house for a bit to service himself even as he was servicing the wizard.

Calie'l wasn't often one to wake up early, he normally waited till later in the day to open his eyes, but this time he awoke just as the sun started to rise. It always made him anxious to have another person dwelling in his home and seeing as the one he currently had lurking in a room down the hall Calie'l figured it would be prudent to stay alert for the time being. He knew actually very little ABOUT Nathan beside the basics of who he was and even that wasn't a judge of who he had become over his time being cursed.

Calie'l dressed in something lose that would hide what he really was easily then headed out of his room and straight into the kitchen area. He more often cooking in the front room that looked more normal but seeing as he would need to make much more than he normally had too Calie'l decided it would be wise to cook in the kitchen. Though if he was going to continue to make such large meals with all this meat he was going to need to get more until the full moon. Not that Calie'l minded much, most of his meat lasted him a long while, it was nice to be able to put his skills to use.

Calie'l was up for quite a while before Nathan came into the room, the wizard completely ignoring the others presence and expecting him to sit down and be silent. Instead the man came right up to his back and said something over his shoulder. Calie'l instantly pushed himself forward so that Nathan wasn't right on his back, knowing the other hadn't felt his spikes, it made him almost lash out to feel the man on him so suddenly and so close to realizing what he was. It was easy enough to offer help when you were just a human wizard but for people to know he was anything but that… well people grew upset very quickly. His true age meant nothing as a wizard, plenty stayed young for hundreds of years, but what he was… that was different.

Calie'l quickly stepped aside so that Nathan could get his food then he grabbed his own and sat down at the table. "I am a teacher, that wasn't a lie, but I will be needing my meat stores restored since you will be staying for a while." Calie'l had a feeling that the other wouldn’t get just meat if he sent him out but if the man decided to fight his rules then he could… if he ******** up there was no saving him beside a quick death. Calie'l paid little attention to the others state of dress, he had grown quite used to seeing people in similar states, he was not a ladies man but it was easy to drag a man to your bed if they were eager enough.

"You can restore my meat stores today, and for the rest of your time, should give you time to take care of what you need to but remember what I said… if you spread this curse I cannot help you. No one can… the only thing left for you would be a quick death. I am not assuming you would mess up but… stay away from the inn girls." Calie'l sipped at his tea he had and looked up at the ceiling "Some of them are not really girls…" after that he stood and headed for the door "When you are dressed simply ask for the front door and the house will let you out. I have children to teach for now." Calie'l stepped through the door, little voices already shouting out for him, he stepped through the front door and smiled at the children waiting for him.

Nathan was confused for a second at the wizard's sudden 'fright', wondering if Calie'l was just not used to having a visitor in his house before coming to the second conclusion: the other may not wan to be quite that close to a cursed person. Heck, the wizard had seemed to be able to tell something about his curse just by looking at him close enough; maybe cursed people looked, well, disgusting on some level or something? Nathan contemplated it as he sat and ate, though he perked up considerably when told he could go outside and the wizard wasn't going to chew him out for it.

"Don't fret. I'll just steer clear of the inn, then. Unless the local dandies are all off-limits?" Nathan asked with genuine curiosity. Getting told the girls weren't all girls in this kind of house led him to think the wizard wasn't just calling them guys, or something half so simple as that. "Have fun with yer kids then," the woodsman said by means of 'goodbye' as the other left, then went about clearing his plate of every morsel of food before sitting back in his seat with a content sigh. It felt good to be so full; and if he hadn't used up all his luck finding a bonafied wizard, then perhaps he could manage to get a good haul of meat in today to continue the trend of well-fedness for the remainder of his stay.

Nathan got out of his chair and took his dishes and the wizards over to the sink, seeing as the other had done all the cooking Nathan was used to doing cleaning to make the workshare even. It involved a lot of scrubbing, which was something Nathan figured he could do much better than cooking. So once the dishes were squared away, the man left them out to dry as he went to the 'back door' and asked politely to be taken to the hall that led to his room, not minding the extra walking from point A to point B because instantaneously going from one place to another still weirded him out a bit. It was a relief to toss the towel and get properly dressed, Nathan eagerly digging through his pack for his hunting knife and trap supplies, pocketing the trap materials and carefully slipping the knife, sheath and all, securely into his worn old boot.

"Lucky for me, it's rabbit season. Though it'll take quite a lot of them varmints to make a decent amount of meat ... say, house," Nathan said, securing his belt tightly and looking at the cieling curiously. "The magic man keep anything as useful for a mere mortal man ... uh, cursed mortal man like me to use to keep us both fed? Like, I dunno, a bow? Then I'll have a fighting chance if I see some deer; and one of those beauties could really set us up well for a good long while." Nathan was in good humor, and was more than willing to prattle on to the house since Calie'l didn't seem one to talk much to him beyond what to-do and what not-to-do.

Opening the door, Nathan curiously looked through, only to grin. The door had opened to a small closet-like space, with a bow and arrow quiver sitting quietly with a little bit of dust over them. Not enough to have been away a very long while, but likely just as long as the last time the wizard had filled his meat stores had been. Nathan ignored the other tools and such, just taking the bo and quiver full of a few arrows that he needed, stringing the bow and heading on out into the daylight. He did not interrupt the wizard and the gaggle of kids being taught, instead just giving a parting wave in Calie'l's direction before walking off into the woods.

Nathan went at a brisk pace and went on for quite a while as he quietly traveled the game trails and began making a small line of noose-traps to catch rabbits in some opportune crossings. The traps were small enough that Nathan didn't have to worry about a kid stumbling across one; they were harmless to most creatures bigger than rabbits. Nathan pondered as he went, wondering how long the magical man ha been in town, for the townsfolk to actually trust him with their kid's educations. Through personal experience most folks were ... less open to things so far removed from everyday understanding. Which was probably why most magic-users were so damned hard to find; along with the fact the dominate religion of the country also called them demons and condemned them to be burned at the stake, of course.

Nathan strolled along as quietly as a man could through the woods, bow in hand and quiver slung over his back as he took his time. For the moment the usual routine of walking the woodland had calmed his need for the lust in his lions to be fulfilled, and Nathan just enjoyed the taste of fresh foliage grown tickling his nose and the taste of moist, rich earth as he walked, eyes peeled for any fresh signs of deer. It was going to be a long day's hunt, that was for sure, but that just meant once he was done the reward in town would feel all the sweeter.

*

As daily town life started up, the long dirt road heading through the little village grew busy with all manner of traffic. Ox carts pulling carts of fresh foods to head on past to the larger cities where business was good. Horse carriages pulling the higher class along at a speedy pace to the next high-brow civilization. Lone travelers in all shapes and sizes … one such lonely man standing out a bit more than the rest.

He wore a thick traveler's cloak that covered most of his body from view, but what was clear for all to see was the silver cross shining in the sunlight as it swung lazily in front of the man's chest as he walked, also hanging from a metal chord instead of cheap twine. The glint of glass was visible beneath his cowl, the holy man wearing very thick spectacles to aid his poor eyesight as he walked towards the town. He was tall; thin, with very pale skin that seemed to either be a snowy white or delicate pink from the few bits of him that were visible.

As he walked into town the man took his time, pausing to politely ask the locals if they'd seen a man come into town the past few days or so by the name of 'Nathan Sommer'. Also giving a physical description, though the man didn't seem to be putting out much hope for anyone to have seen the man he was looking for. Even with glasses to help his eyes out (his irises an odd red color) the albino could see the town was one along a busy enough road that most travelers would not be noticed. But even then, he went to the local inn to see if there could be any clues to the man's whereabouts there, and to get himself a drink. The cloak shielded his sensitive skin from the sun well, but it did make him quite thirsty to be traveling so well clothed in the warm summer weather. And, perhaps, he could manage to secure himself lodging for the night; it was quite early and he imagine it would not be much of a problem.

It was not. Plus, the inn keep gave him his first lead all day; a man of that description had come the night before, but as far as she knew he left town when he could not get lodging (which was truthful enough; she knew better than to ask Calie'l about his business beyond how the littl'ns were doing with their learning).

So, the priest secured himself a room and left his traveling back pack inside before going to ask a few more of the town folks if they saw the man he was seeking. A few of the guards mentioned seeing a man of that description, but like the inn keep said he'd also gone right through town after a stop at the Boar's Head. The albino pondered this, and decided to walk a little ways down the road out of town, only to pause at the sound of children's laughter trickling through the trees. Curious, the tall traveler walked towards the noise and hung back when he saw many children of the teaching age range (which was roughly between the ages of five and ten) all around a red haired man in front of a shack.

Not wanting to interrupt but also wondering if someone living on the edge of town might've had the luck of seeing the man he was looking for, the albino found a shady tree to sit underneath and waited for some sort of recess break with which he could get the attention of the backwoods teacher. Once it looked like he could come forward without rudely interrupting the lesson going on, the traveler got to his feet and walked over, pulling the hood down to reveal his pale skin had matching hair that was as white as fresh milk.

“Good noon, kind sir,” the priest said, smiling and lightly adjusting his glasses. “Sorry to interrupt, but I was just wondering if you could assist me with something. Have you seen a traveler around these parts; goes by the name Nathan Soomer. He has brown hair, green eyes, and thinner than the average man, with a light beard was well.”

((Have a little priest >D ))

Calie'l was well into teaching the children when Nathan left his home, the man wandering off to restore the meat stores. Calie'l smiled as he played with the children and taught them, laughing and smiling even with their little mistakes, he gave them little treats and toys when the kids learned their letters correctly and it made them all the more excited to learn. Calie'l was well into a lesson when he sensed that someone had ventured into his area, someone who wasn't Nathan, and while the person didn't feel hostile now Calie'l could never be sure.

He watched from the corner of his eye as he taught the children, played with them, making sure the stranger didn't approach at least for the time being. Once he had finished the lesson mostly, the kids deciding to run around as they ate the snacks he had provided for them, Calie'l saw that the man was approaching and he stood. The red head brushed himself off as he stood, able to see the cross hanging on the mans neck, he had a feeling he knew where this was going already. Calie'l smiled at the man but it easily fell when he asked about Nathan.

"A man of such description came through here yes but he left last night after causing me some trouble… May I ask why you are after him? Despite seeming half starved I didn't see anything to concerning with him." Calie'l shooed a few children away as they came closer to him to see who he was talking to. It worked for a moment but then the kids were back and grabbing onto his pant leg. "Cally who is the man?" Calie'l set a hand on the young girls head who asked "Just a holy man Jez. Go play with the other children while I speak with him." The little girl stared up at the priest before running off and Calie'l sighed.

"I recommend going back to where you came from. There really isn't much here for you seeing as he left very quickly." Calie'l turned and grabbed a few things off his porch where he had been sitting before handing a salve to the man in front of him. "On another not you should use this for your skin. I use it on the kids to keep them from getting burned you should take it. Just a mix of herbs… smells nice to so it is pleasant to use." Calie'l had known a few like the man before him, one of the children he often saw was an albino as well, it would be good for the man to be able to walk around without quite so many layers on.

Calie'l looked back to the children as they started shouting a bit, a small fight breaking out, and Calie'l went to go solve the small dispute.

The stranger's eyes widened in worry at hearing the young teacher had already had a run-in with Nathan, though from what his red eyes could see things did not look to be out of order around here, at least. Thank God it had not been a full moon last night. "He is wanted for crimes damning by both law and religion," the priest said quietly, eyes looking in relief at the kids playing safely. "Several murders have taken place, and many of them directly linked to Mr Sommer's travel route. Men, women ... children," he continued at a low enough volume for the children not to hear. "I would highly recommend caution if he comes your way again, and to keep your doors well-bared come the next full moon. He is a man possessed." The albino raised a hand to lightly fiddle with his cross, thoughts far off and already knowing what steps were to be taken next.

Though, then the children crept close to see what the adults were talking about, and the bespectacled man smiled down at them as the redheaded teacher explained and shooed them off once more. That smile faltered a little when Calie'l told him to 'go back where he came from' though. "That's no option for me, I'm afraid. After a night's respite here I must keep after Mr Sommer, and hope either my comrade on the road ahead or myself catch him before the next turn of the moon."

The albino was ready to say a goodbye and be on his way to leave the teacher to his teaching when Calie'l went and returned with a salve, making the tall man raise an eyebrow before a genuine smile grew on his pale face. He opened the small container and smelled the nice herbal scent as the redhead hurried off to go break up a small scuffle amongst the children, and had pocketed the salve to apply later in his inn room so he could sit and let the stuff dry properly instead of wasting some of the substance to rub-off at the moment. "You have my thanks, kind sir. I've tried salves such as this before, but your work is quite the finest I've seen in some time. May the grace of the Lord be with you," the priest said in way of farewell, turning to head back to the inn, pulling the hood back over his face to protect his skin until he'd had a chance to apply the salve.

Nathan wouldn't be returning to town or Calie'l's home 'shack' much later that day, at dusk, looking dirty and sweaty but also quite triumphant as he pulled/dragged the body of an old scarred doe behind himself. The cursed man also had a couple of rabbits hanging from his belt, since his hands were otherwise occupied with the deer. Nathan was no weakling, but he was still thinner than usual and a deer was no lightweight to carry on home through the woods. The doe had a hole through a rib where Nathan's arrow had hit her, and a long gash across her neck where the hunter had finished her. He'd taken the time to bleed her out in the woods so there wouldn't be too much of a trail to the wizard's home, and less weight to drag back.

"Hey, I hope you have a nice little spot to butcher this thing in your house, because I have delivered in full," the werewolf was spouting as he leg go of the deer's back legs to go open the front door, looking for Calie'l. "And can you give me a hand? Just to get her inside. I can toss the offal back where I dumped the blood once I'm done opening her up properly." And after that, he'd be free for a night on the town. Nathan was really looking forward to that, moving with an extra spring in his step; like a kid promised a trip to a sweetshop.

Calie'l paid little attention to the priest as he walked away but once the man was gone the red head glared after the male. Priests were all the same, they had no clue what they were dealing with, it was entirely not Nathans fault that this had happened to him and yet he would be condemned as if it was should he be found. Calie'l ushered the children back to his porch for their lesson now that the distraction was gone and then before Nathan could return he sent the children on their way.

He had returned just in time for Nathan to come back with the kill he had made, quite impressive actually, before he opened up the room that the man could use to gut the kill. "Just take it in here and take care of it…" Calie'l was contemplating how to tell the other about the priest that was looking at him but he guessed it would be easier to say why the other man was slightly distracted by the gutting of the deer. Calie'l stood in the room as Nathan started gutting the animal, not really all that interested in the process himself, before he decided to approach the subject.

"A priest is looking for you in town." Well he could have been a bit less blunt and he knew that… he wanted to wince at the harsh words but he guessed the other wouldn’t really know what that means. "He said you killed a whole bunch of people and he is looking for you with someone else. I don't think you should go into town." Calie'l shifted, know that the other wouldn’t be to happy with that since he seemed eager and happy to be going.

"I would say it would be fine to just go but Priests… they don't take curses into account. You could tell them for days that you didn't know what you were doing and that this curse was put on you but they will not listen to you…" Calie'l sighed heavily and ran a hand through his hair in frustration. Priests complicated things. They had a habit of assuming things that they really shouldn’t, like when someone was evil when they weren't, there were several occasions were Calie'l had run into a priest and the man had seen his true form then labeled him a demon or the devil. Calie'l was far from that, even with his anger issues, the only thing that might brand him as such would be the red skin and even then it was a horrible stereotype. Most demons were nothing more than floating sulfur.
