This is Jack, an sarcastic, smooth operator who prefers keeping everyone at a distance--usually emotionally, sometimes because you might smell. More info can be found on him here, though his profile is a bit out of date.
In spite of Jack's winning personality, he is happily desolately single and is content simply unaware of what he is missing out on. Thankfully, Jack has friends who are more than happy to meddle with his life, for better or for worse. They are looking for people who want to be set up on blind dates, to be more specific.
These do not have to be serious offers. In fact, the quirkier/more awful/funnier, the better! Any gender/orientation is welcome! (I'll even take students as a joke, because at least one of his friends would be dickish enough to do that; their meetings would have to be in the haunted house.)
I'm not actually looking for that special someone for him unless some weird cosmic alignment happens and they really hit it off (highly unlikely since he's being forced into this). This is more an effort to get him to be more social as ICly he's been a hermit/somewhat depressing. The end result of the blind dates can be whatever you want: one night stands (although Jack has deeply ingrained homophobia), complete disasters, a spar, etc. They can also be done in whatever format you'd like (drabbles, normal prp, text convos, w/e w/e)!
ICLy your character will be contacted by someone off the Finn/Shiloh/Ian/Abbi team with a meeting time and place, though we can all work out the circumstances on an individual basis! They may also interfere during the date (ie. sending helpful advice texts) depending on the player.

HELPFUL INFORMATION (aka the tl;dr of the guy in question)
jack's spheres of interests:
science talk (he was majoring in bio-engineering and had a minor in chemistry prior to Deus; he is currently very interested in the genetics side of things)
halloween discussion (the whos, whats, hows, whys, and parallels to the human world)
in depth discussions of xyz (he doesn't mind playing devil's advocate if he doesn't hold a stance on something, but he likes debates and parsing things)
puzzle games or games that require critical thinking such as chess
reading (slightly; he's a fan of Poe and is slowly branching into other things, starting with Harry Potter)
sports (he used to have a basketball scholarship and watched various games irregularly)
other things to note:
Jack can understand mostly understand Mandarin Chinese and Japanese and can understand and speak Korean (though it is rusty)
He has a small fetish for women's shoes, though he keeps this close to the vest; his eyes will wander when on leave, however, for nice shoes in general
Jack's weapon is a legacy (creation) and can trigger if he sees another
On the inside he is a mess and if pushed too far can grow violent
He seriously likes coffee too much
He knows how to play the guitar and violin
