Wakai summoned some black shards and shot them towards the incoming shots. As they collided, they made explosions with every contact, "Those shots are actually really powerful...gotta make sure not to get hit by any."
Akashisen looked at Miao, "Miao, we can't just leave her to fight on her own...as much as I don't want to fight, we still need to help her." she said, looking back at Wakai.
Miao chuckled at what Akashisen said, "I understand." she said before suddenly throwing her shield at Wakai's opponent. It shot towards her fast.

As Daremo was about to shoot through the explosions from her bullets colliding with Wakai's black shards, she felt something hit the side of her head and fall to the ground which made a metallic sound, though she seemed unfazed. She looked down at whatever had hit her, noticing it was a shield...the same shield that belonged to the cat-like person. She looked towards Miao, it almost seemed as if she were glaring at her, "You civilians...are now marked hostile." she said before suddenly firing at Akashisen and Miao.

Wakai took notice that Daremo targeted the other two, quickly moving in front of them. She summoned many black shards and formed a shield in front of them to block the incoming shots which exploded into her shield...though it wouldn't hold long. "Ngh, why!?" she looked at Akashisen and Miao, "Why didn't you just run!?" she said with concern.
Akashisen looked down, "We're very sorry Wakai, although you're very strong...I don't want you to fight alone." she looked back up at Wakai, her eyebrows a little furrowed, "We want to help, even if we're putting our lives in danger."
Miao nodded in agreement, "Yeah! We can't just have a friend fighting on their own, what kind of friends would we be if we did that?" she said before summoning her shield back to her.
Wakai stared at the two with a concerned expression for a few seconds. She sighed, looking away, "Okay okay, you guys can help...but please be careful, this girl is really strong."

Daremo began to move in on them as she kept firing her Knuxmags at them. "Your shield cannot hold for much longer...you cannot hide behind it forever." she spoke. The closer she got, the stronger the shots became.

While Daremo was speaking, Wakai shot a few black shards at her, "Move! Now!" she yelled at Akashisen and Miao.
At that moment, Akashisen and Miao jumped over Wakai's shield and charged towards Daremo. Miao leaded the charge, her shield held up in front of her, and Akashisen followed close behind with her keyblade prepared to strike.

Daremo had moved to the side in order to dodge the black shards Wakai shot at her. She then noticed Akashisen and Miao charging at her. Before she could shoot at them, they were already too close to shoot. If she did, the radius of the explosion from her bullets would harm her too. She quickly switched to close combat as her Knuxmags changed from magnums into knuckles. She waited for the two to get into close combat range.

Meanwhile, Wakai began to form a spear made out of the black shards she summoned. She pointed it towards Daremo, waiting for the right moment to fire it at her.
When they got in range, Akashisen moved to the right and swung her keyblade at Daremo swiftly.
Miao moved to the left and swung her shield at Daremo as Akashisen was striking Daremo.
When the two had gotten out of Wakai's aim, she shot the spear at Daremo as the two attacked.

In a split second, Daremo's eyes began to glow red as she stopped both Akashisen's and Miao's attacks by grabbing their weapons. She tossed Akashisen aside and quickly moved behind Miao before she locked her arms around Miao's, holding her in front of her. As the spear flew towards her, she kicked Miao towards it to stop it from hitting her.

Miao flew forward and felt a sharp pain in her chest before stopping, "Ow...m-my chest hurts..." she looked down, noticing the spear that pierced her chest. "Oh...th-that's why..." Miao fell to her knees, feeling weak all of a sudden.
Wakai covered her mouth in shock, her eyes widened. She quickly de-summoned the spear made of black shards.
Miao's chest was even in more pain when the spear was de-summoned, she fell to the ground screaming in pain as she gripped her wound.
Akashisen quickly got up and ran towards Miao, "Miao!" she knelt beside her, not knowing what to do. She was in a panic...she didn't know how to help Miao. She began to tear up, holding Miao in her arms and holding her tightly in an attempt to stop her pain.
Miao continued to scream in pain...and her body began to disperse...just like a heartless would.
"Miao! No...no, no no no! You-You can't leave me! Please, no!" Akashisen begged while crying, holding Miao close.
Miao finally stopped screaming in pain, though she forced herself from doing so. She grinned at Akashisen, "Aka...I feel bad...for Herc.....I couldn't keep his promise.......to fight again..................." Miao slowly began to disappear as her body broke into darkness fragments and floated slowly in the air before disappearing. Before she could say anything else...she disappeared completely. Her shield fell to the ground before a crack suddenly appeared on it.
Akashisen began to sob silently as she picked up Miao's shield and held it against her chest, "Miao.....Miao.........." she continued to say Miao's name while sobbing.

Daremo quickly formed a bubble around some of Miao's darkness fragments before they floated away and disappeared. The bubble was able to keep them from disappearing, "Sample acquired. This should be useful to my creators for study." the bubble suddenly shot into the air fast before disappearing out of sight.

Akashisen put Miao's shield down on the ground gently before standing up, "You...b*****d..." She suddenly charged at Daremo with her keyblade ready to strike, "I'll kill you!" she was being too reckless, it was unlike her to be like this.
"Akashisen! Wait, don't!" Wakai yelled at her.

Daremo noticed Akashisen started to charge at her. She waited for Akashisen to get close before blocking her strike again. When doing so, Daremo swiftly striked Akashisen numerous times. She kicked Akashisen away, putting distance between them...enough distance to shoot. Daremo's Knuxmags turns back into magnums, aiming them at Akashisen. She instantly fired the moment Akashisen was in her iron sights.

Akashisen didn't have enough time to react to Daremo's counterattack...she was much faster than Akashisen was. She felt a sharp pain as the bullets went right through her chest, falling to the ground upon being hit.
"No!" Wakai quickly ran over to Akashisen and knelt beside her, "Damn it...this is why I didn't want you two to get involved..." she said with a saddened expression. She began to feel guilty...she wasn't able to protect either of them.
Akashisen slowly shook her head, "No...it's all right...me and Miao knew the risks of fighting." She tried getting up, but couldn't, she was in pain and was feeling weaker by the second. She then noticed that her body began to dissolve the same way a nobody's would when they perish. "...I see...so I'm a nobody..." she closed her eyes, "Then that means...the real me is going to wake up now...right?" knowing this...she felt fine perishing.
Wakai didn't know exactly how nobodies and heartless worked...but she did know that if somebody still had their heart within them, but their nobody was still alive, then their nobody would have to die in order for that somebody to wake up from their coma-like state. Though, she didn't know Akashisen's real self. Wakai just nodded at Akashisen's question.
Akashisen took off her mask, it was revealed that she was smiling...however, tears dripped from her eyes. "That's good...right......?" before Wakai was able to respond, Akashisen's had already fully dissolved into nothing. All that was left was her keyblade.

Daremo decided to collect samples from Akashisn's dissolving fragments as well, forming a bubble around some of it before they disappeared completely. Just like with Miao's, the fragments didn't disappear while in the bubble. The bubble then shot up into the sky fast as well. She looked at Wakai who began to mourn their deaths, and decided to take this chance to escape. She knew Wakai's real potential in battle and did not wish to push her to do so. She opened a portal under her and sunk into it, "I would recommend against provoking me in battle again if you wish to keep civilians safe." she said before fully sinking into the portal which closed instantly.[exits]

Wakai didn't even look up as Daremo spoke and then left. She summoned a few black shards to pick up Akashisen's keyblade, knowing that if she touched it herself, she would get her own keyblade...but she didn't deserve that responsibility. She walked over to Miao's shield and picked it up before opening a portal that led back to the academy. She needed to notify the headmaster of Akashisen and Miao's death.[exits]
