Xalyk watched the nobodies fight with heartless that seemed to be allied with Kalen's side. Xalyk sighed, "Heartless are a wildcard..." but, this didn't bother Xalyk much. "Well, since Veix's nobodies are busy themselves," suddenly, two dark corridors opened beside Xalyk, "Guess I'll summon some up of my own." creeper-type nobodies walked out of the dark corridors. And because of Veix's music, they began to change in form as well, appearing more dangerous than normal. A few of them went to go help Veix's nobodies, while the rest stayed with Xalyk.
"All right guys, show 'em what you're made of." on command, one of the creeper nobodies turned into a shield and rushed towards the oncoming walls of barriers. Once it collided with the barrier, it was locked in a deadlock with it. Meanwhile, one creeper turned into a spear, and another turned into a sword. Both charged at Harvey, ready to attack her on contact. While this was going on, Xalyk was examining the barrier that was their arena, "Hmm..." Xalyk aimed at the barrier and looked towards Kalen, "Let's experiment a little." when Xalyk shot a blast of cutting wind at the barrier. When it collided with the barrier, the cutting wind bounced off the barrier and continued doing so until it would reach Kalen. However, it was blocked by Rose's barrier, "Tsk...damn barrier users."

 Veix Organization Member #3
All Veix could do was watch and play her guitar rifle. She had noticed the difficulty that Xalyk was having reaching Kalen, who seemed to be charging up energy in his keyblade. Surely, whatever he was planning was dangerous for them. She aimed her guitar rifle at the sky, playing a different tune in which dark orbs shot into the air and floated up to as high as it could go, to where the barrier held them in. Suddenly, they turned into dark smoke and the ceiling of the barrier was nothing but dark clouds. Veix pointed up to the sky, then down towards Kalen's group before she began to play again. Suddenly, dark needles began to rain down on the arena. The dark needles will drain power from anything or anyone it gets stuck in, however, it would be harmless to Xalyk, the nobodies, and the heartless, despite the heartless currently being their enemies. However, she was targeting the barrier around Kalen more than she was targeting Kalen's group themselves. If they successfully stick into the barrier, the barrier will diminish until it disappears.

Their attempt to stop Kalen was an unfortunate outcome, as they were too late to prevent his attack. However, the needle storm Veix made would be some sort of distraction to them as they would have to shield themselves from the storm the whole time they're fighting. When Kalen unleashed his attack that he charged up, Xalyk quickly got out of the way, just barely though. Xalyk needed to jump out of the way to barely escape the destructive beam. Xalyk had hoped that Veix would be fast enough to evade as well.
Without hesitation, Xalyk dug the buckler blade into the ground, "Barriers are a pain...but they can be useful too I guess." Xalyk then shot it a numerous times. This cause the ground to inflate a little before it imploded as cutting wind erupted from the ground, under everyone. Barriers at this point would be dangerous to be in as the cutting wind would bounce around, making it like a blending machine inside of one. However, Xalyk just continued shooting into the ground to make more cutting wind shoot out from under everyone, even Xalyk was hit by a few of the cutting wind.

Veix Organization Member #3
Veix was already expecting to avoid Kalen's charged attack once he was ready to unleash it upon them. She looked at the barrel of her gun as a large dark orb was already formed at the tip of it. When Kalen blasted the beam of Ultima at them, Veix aimed her guitar rifle at her side and shot it while at the same time, jumping. This caused her to fly to the side to get out of the way of the beam, however, she fell to the ground and slid a few feet. Also, the building she was one was mostly destroyed and began to crumble and fall apart from the beam. She quickly got up and ran towards the building next door, while at the same time, playing her guitar. She had to at least keep Xalyk buffed. Once she got on top of the next building, she noticed Xalyk was creating cutting wind that flew all around. She thought it too dangerous to summon up more nobodies, so she held off from summoning any more for now.
She was, however, concerned about Xalyk, his dangerous move was causing self inflicting damage to him.

 "Advancing combat any further while she continues to pick at her sitar is pointless." Harvey said to Rose as her gaze followed the other nobody on the roof. The other was moving quickly, but still the music from her sitar filled the arena, and with the affect it had on the dusks and creepers Harvey had no doubt that it was amplifying Xalyk as well. Without a moment to spare, Harvey shot a single beam of light from her keyblade, and in a flash she was gone, reappearing on top of the roof where the female nobody previously was, with a dodge roll Harvey narrowly escaped the cutting wind, yet it still nipped at her back, cutting her flesh and the fabric of her shirt in the process. She winced, but kept moving, standing upright long enough to cast another spell.
With rapid flashes, the barriers on either side of their arena began to move closer to each other, closer and closer they moved until they shifted upward, growing smaller as they began to close in on the cutting wind. With the pressure on either side of the wind, it began to cyclone downwards, the barriers growing to conceal the forming tornado. It touch downed, and in the moment before the barrier moved to close it off from the rest of the world, it tore up the brick, sending large chunks of it in either direction. Quickly covering the top of the tornado and the bottom, it could be seen by all its glory within the middle of the square, tightly secured by Harvey's barriers as it continued to roar with life behind them. She knew it wouldn't hold for long, but she hoped it'd be long enough for Kalen to do whatever he planned to do with Xalyx while she tracked down Veix.
With a huff she hoisted herself over a low hanging roof and made her way quickly up to the building where Veix was located. Upon entering the house she stood before her, keyblade drawn. "Perhaps we can help each other?" Harvey asked, offering an ultimatum to the other that could benefit either side, yet her fighting stance did not hinder. |
