ABOUT WINTER

She's cold, ruthless, unforgiving - even to her own children. Her life as a hunter has been all she's known, in tandem with her other half, Frostbite (above). Her first clutch was a surprise and she really didn't know what to do with them - she did, however, teach them how to pick out a great eagle like their father had, so they could bond with their chosen bird the same way she had bonded with Frostbite. Her gryphon is truly an extension of herself, and she feels a bit lost without its presence. However, a confrontation with one of her children, Bare Trees, had lead her to have a smaller understanding of a life outside her own. For once, she was a mother and gave her child sound advice and an understanding that her children could not be her, and that she was okay with that.


WHY WINTER WOULD MAKE A GREAT LEGENDARY
She'd be perfect to bless hunter's or the type that wouldn't normally seek a blessing. For example, she herself would never seek a blessing because it's asking something of another being that she doesn't respect. Winter would bridge that gap of the untouchables and loners, being a huntress herself and understanding that refusal to submit to another. Her blessings would be simple - typically a kill or trophy brought to her would be sufficient, displaying the scars as a hunter, some show of survival against all odds, far more effective than words - and she would bless for strength, power, self-reliance: all that which would breed stronger kin into the Swamp.
