Personality: Tori is more of the 'chill person' variety. She enjoys a good flirt here and there - though will always remain loyal to her fiance as he is to her - all while making friends in the process. Her tastes in people can be forward; making her seen as "blunt" around the average person. However, simply because she's kind doesn't mean she'll always be "gracing you with her kindness". Once you get snappy with her, be prepared for a pretty good verbal beat down and a possible couple hits to the face. It doesn't take much to get on her nerves, and she most certainly won't be afraid to be passive aggressive about it in the process.
Bio: Born in Washington on the far Northwest area of America, Victoria was pretty used to the snow. Though most of the time she'd rather stay inside, curled up in front of the fireplace while playing Pokemon or something - she slowly grew out of the house and put her social skills to good use. Her parents enjoyed knowing she made it clear without bullies throughout school. She stood up for what she believed in and never really gave much care about what other people said. Unless it was against her friends, of course. She could honestly say as a child, she had never suffered through any hardships while growing up. Not until she began to grow older.
Of course, coming from a partially wealthy family, her father -a company CEO- often took her on many business trips to show Victoria's art-like skills to his friends. It was a clear sign to remove Victoria from the house, away from her chronically ill mother, who would occasionally show signs of becoming better. However, the older she became, the more she found herself staying with her mother... Just the sight of her sweating mother on the bed with a half hearted smile made her chest churn with sadness. Her mind would sift through memories, frantically attempting to take her mind off of the sick - and help her enjoy the current days rather than the future. Her mother enjoyed this very much, and it made Victoria happy to know it did.
Around the beginning of her teenage years, she had finally found the guts to explore outside of Washington on her own, settling fast for a school along the West Coast of California. There, she expanded on the different types of teaching abilities around her - an aching urge to getting out of the house growing very quickly. It wasn't long before she found herself graduating college with her own degree, set on just about any subject she could. However, seeing an art teacher as being a bit of a "cheat", she took the easy route and chose the closest job she could get. And although she could hardly stand parting ways with her sickly parent, she chose to leave the home, to get far away from the depths of depression that her household gave her. She does keep in contact with them, but would rather not have to think too much about it any longer. Fortunately, it didn't look like she would inherit or contract any of her mother's sickness.
A swim teacher at Koizora Kiss Academy was her choice of occupation. Low and behold, she did not realize what she had been signing up for in the process. A school filled with secrets, mysteries, fantasies, and myths that had suddenly become fact. Her first friend, Hakem Takashi, was the one to introduce her to the new perspective. She had been out for a walk in the rain, testing out the new boundaries of her home - and checking to see if it would be "flyable" for her lovebird, Melanie. Not far in to the darkness, a wolf of great sized crossed her path, shifting and contorting to show a naked man, or Hakem in this case. never before had she ever thought of such a thing even existing. But the further she went into her teaching years, the more she realized that it was in fact, real. A part of her yearned to find something abnormal to heal her mother with - perhaps someone with the very power in order to deplete the sickness that overtook her. However, a few years later, she would find she was too late.
Hakem and Victoria began dating a month or so after becoming colleagues. Not long after, about 2 years, a proposal followed. She had never been so inclined to say yes to someone as she had to him; even if it was pre-led by several sarcastic and snarky remarks. On occasion he would bring her back to his original home in England where he grew up, and she would do the same back in Washington. She had grown to put faith in him... And he learned it rather quickly when Victoria's mother died a year after their engagement. She quickly fell into a depression, for the longest time refusing to part from the ivory keys of her piano or the tight strands of her violin. She'd play for hours on end, hoping the sounds would reach her mother wherever she was. Fortunately, she was brought out from her darkness within the months that followed, and was back to her usual self with the help of her fiance and friends. Though she and her father still miss her mother dearly, it was clear that the worst was over; the second worst Tori ever had to deal with being the knowledge of infertility when she was younger.
After teaching for five years at the Academy - Hakem for much longer - the couple decided to move over to Soleil for new scenery; not to mention the closeness of family and friends that lived in the vicinity. It didn't take long for the warm welcome to kick in between herself, Aubrey, Hakem, and Tyrese. Although recently, upon Christmas day, she was granted the wish of her dreams - to become a wolf similar to her soon-to-be husband. As the blue moon rose, Victoria had experienced a physical pain like never before, throwing Hakem in terror to believe she may not survive the transformation. However, as her body was as strong as her will power, she surged through and shed her human skin. And even though she is still learning, and what may be hyperactive when it comes to shifting, she can only hope that she will gain control and knowledge of the new world. Now, Victoria is content in where she stands, both close to home, looking forward to her wedding day, and controlling her new found abilities.
