Owens would have been choked out by Orton. Because Orton was using the ropes as leverage, the referee would yell at him to get off, beginning a count

Orton would let go of the hold at the last possible moment, snapping at the referee to mind his business. The crowd actually enjoyed this behavior from The Viper, it was entertaining. The Apex Predator would attempt to successfully pick Owens up to his feet.  

[Kevin Owens]

Owens would be lifted up by Orton  

[The Viper Orton]

Randy Orton would aggressively try to push Kevin Owens outside on the apron. If successful, The Apex Predator would pull him through the ropes in the position that would lead to his deadly Spike DDT!  

[Kevin Owens]

Owens would now be hung up on the ropes  

[The Viper Orton]

The Viper would smack Kevin Owens' back 2 times, before attempting to drive KO's head into the mat with a Spike DDT!

Owens, before Orton could hit him twice, would attempt to step back into the ring, and back body drop Orton over the rope, either on the apron or outside the ring  

[The Viper Orton]

Randy Orton's Spike DDT would connect. The Viper would stay on the mat, turning over and slithering and stalking his prey, slamming his fist on the ground trying to get Owens up on his feet!  

[Kevin Owens]

Not very aware of where he was, Owens would slowly get to his feet

Randy Orton would get up completely on his feet at the exact moment Kevin Owens had gotten up. Once Owens had turned around, Orton would strike-attempting his legendary RKO!!

When Orton spun for the RKO, Owens would attempt to push him away. He would then drop to his back, and roll out of harms way outside of the ring

Randy Orton would be stuck after Owens had escaped his clutches. Turning around to find out he had made his way out of harms way.  

[Kevin Owens]

Owens would be leaning against the barricade, trying to recover from the beating he's been taking from Randy so far in the match

Randy Orton would slide outside the ring, impatient and frustrated with the fact Owens was prolonging the process to Orton advancing.  

[Kevin Owens]

Owens saw the frustration in Orton, and would use it to his advantage. When Orton went to slide out the ring, Orton would advance towards him and grab him by the neck. He'd then attempt to launch him back first into the barricade
