Alejandro was having no luck finding any eggs, but isn't that why he was having at least one Pokemon help him out? As he ran his hands on the ground in some of the taller grass in hopes of just bumping into one, he heard a muffled bark and felt pawing on his leg. Turning, he smiled when he noticed Pooka had an egg held between her teeth and he pat her head as she dropped it into his other hand."Way to go, Pooka!"That was only the first egg out of fifty, but it was still an accomplishment. Alejandro held the egg out to Diego so the Abra could look at it."These are what we're looking for. They won't all be the same colors or have the same patterns, but when we get to Melemele Meadow, do you think you can help out?""...Bra."Not a very confident answer, so Alejandro guessed he was saying he'd try. That was good enough."Great!"Alejandro picked up his bag and looked around. Did he really want to put an egg in his bag? The youth shrugged a bit. If it became a problem, he'd invest in a basket or something. Returning Cazador and Camila to their balls, he motioned for Pooka and Diego to follow him. Noel’s eyes went wide as they flew over the first of the islands that made up the Alola region, Melemele was it? He’d done a little reading while they were in the air and had a general idea of what the names of the four islands were; it was just matching them up that was going to be trouble. His best bet was to keep a close eye out for the characteristics that each of them had; Melemele was apparently a very vibrant place, with greenery as far as he could see. He also thought he spotted a volcano… that made sense. It was crazy to be visiting this region for the first time and get this birds eye view.

He could see the other islands as well, though not nearly as clearly as Melemele, which made sense; he was heading for that one now. He had read something about an artificial island though and a bit of neck crane to try and locate it; apparently, it really stood out compared to the other islands and for the briefest of moment he thought he saw it. A little floating facility in the water, just a few miles off from the direction they were heading. He wondered what kind of work went on their; was it a giant boat? What kind of research did they do? Was it something he could visit? All these questions and more ran through his mind as the continued their flight.

Landing down in a rather open field area, Noel frowned and looked around, careful not to jostle the sleeping Algernon that occupied the hood of his hoodie. It was so bright and green and just… nice. Of course, it wasn’t a town or anything, but one of the numerous outskirts that probably riddled the island. Not every place could be brimming with civilization after all and this place looked like a nice place for trainers to come and train if they needed to in seclusion. Shaking his head a little, he started out attempting to look for the egg.

There was a lot of grass and little ledges and Noel found himself going back and forth in his searches, a grin slowly crossing his face. This place was rather interactive and he could feel himself getting a good work out while also enjoying the glorious island day. He wondered what it was like to live in such a paradise? He bet there was always outdoor activities going on or something; it seemed a shame to stay inside when you had the sun to be under so much. Well, at least if the weather permitted. He’d heard that tropical storms could be fierce; how often did they have them? Did if vary by island?

So many questions that he wanted to have answered; he’d have to find some locals just for that. In fact, since he’d have to collect his winnings from one of the local towns (there was a festival for this who egg hunt after all) he could certainly meet a few locals and inquire more about the region. With new found determination, he continued his hunt and found the egg in question he was looking for, awing a moment at the paint job on this egg. It was much nice and decorative then the last few he’d seen. How pretty! Sending it off, Noel skipped his way back to the Pidgeot rider, giving the bird a pat on the side of the neck before climbing up onto its back ready for the next area. The bird stretched its wings and took off, heading for the next area on the island.

Terrence looked over at Misa and frowned. They had finally made it to the hill where the egg was located but it seemed that the girl just vanished. Curious, where exactly did she wander off to? Pursing his lips, Az looked around with him, and even he couldn’t find the girl. She had been so energetic and so he wondered if maybe she had found something that interested her and thus she left to go check it out? That certainly sounded like something that the girl would do. Still it seemed so sudden, she didn’t even say anything to him either. She just up and vanished, it was just so odd. He didn’t really know how to feel, relieved or worried. Maybe both?

He continued to walk forwards, his thoughts on Misa and her sudden vanishing act. Did something come up? It just didn’t seem right, she had been so excited to travel with him. So for her to just up and leave like that… maybe something happened? He didn’t know, but he could say that it was actually a bit worrying, however, wasn’t this what he did to Ezra? He just up and left without a word, well maybe not without a word. He DID tell him that he was going on and that he’d be back. It was all he could think of, he literally couldn’t stop thinking about it. He’d walk a few steps, stop, frown, and then continue walking forwards. It got to the point that he started to pace around a few times, making even his pokemon a bit nervous by his actions. Well he had the girls number, and she had his. If she was really in a lot of trouble, Terrence was sure that she’d call him. She didn’t seem like the type to just up and leave without a reason after all. At least he hoped not. The girl seemed to be pretty oblivious and easy to fool. He really hoped nothing bad happens to her.

It took a while for the worry to fade to a dull feeling. He wasn’t all that frantic anymore, and he hoped that she knew what she was doing. After all she’d been traveling by herself for quite sometime, she had to have had some idea on what she was doing. Plus her partner did look pretty strong, so now that he thought about it more rationally there really shouldn’t have been any issues with protecting herself. If anything it was Terrence that needed to watch out, he was a much easier target after all.

Sighing a bit, Terrence moves his search a bit further up the hill. He hadn’t been here in such a long time, and he wanted to make sure that he remembered this place. His parents didn’t let him travel that often, but this was one of the places that they had allowed him to go for a time when he was feeling better. He moved over towards a tree that he remembered from his childhood. He smiled, seeing the small carving in the trees bark. He brushed his fingers over it, smiling at his initials. He had been so silly when he was little, always wanting to carve a mark so to speak to prove he had been there. It was stupid at the time he knew that, but it still made him feel better doing it. To his surprise, there was an egg sitting by the tree trunk, and Terrence scooped it up. He smiled “must be my lucky day” he stated, before leaving for the next area.

▶ Ciaran felt good after that battle. He had healed up all his pokemon and continued his way around Ten Carat Hill, Robin on his prefered perch on his trainer’s head. During their wandering, they had stumbled across some mushrooms. “Are any of these edible Robin?” He asked, looking up at his owl pokemon. Robin nodded, hopping off his head to examine which ones were fine to pick. Neither party were aware that they were being watched by a curious Duskull. Ciaran put a few in his bag, only to realize the small skull ghost was mimicking his movements, pretending to pick up mushrooms and put them into a non-existent bag. Pokemon and trainer stared at each other. “Are you from around here?”
The Duskull shook his head. “I’m not sure where I’m from, or how I got here.”
“Odd. Did you want to join us?” Ciaran asked, always willing to add another ghost type to his team.
Duskull picked up a rather large mushroom, and regarded it thoughtfully. “I can’t see why not. Will you teach me about Alola?”
“I’m still learning too, Robin is teaching me the best he can through translators. He’ll be a ghost type some day.” Ciaran said with a smile, Robin hooting and hopping over to the skull pokemon, chittering at him. The Duskull seemed to regard him thoughtfully.
“Interesting. You may refer to me as Jon Snow.”
“Can I call you JS for short?”
“Sure.” JS said, placing the mushroom in Ciaran’s bag. “I hear I must get into a pokeball to seal my side of the deal, at least according to Robin.
“Yeah, of course! Normally we’d battle… but most of my ghost pokemon seem to just sort of… jump into my bag.” Ciaran said with a nervous laugh, finding a pokeball for JS. He shined up a little, and presented it to JS with a smile. The Duskull smiled back with his eye, capturing himself. Ciaran sent him back out. “I figured you want to hang out for a little while. You okay with that?”
“Of course.” JS said, wandering slow circles around his trainer, as Robin resumed his perch.

Luckily, it seemed no one was hurt in the scuffle. At least not too badly. Ducky broke out a basic potion to use on Jun and the Type:Null anyways. Mizuki had rejected any treatment proudly, padding off with her tail in the air. It seemed neither he nor Lana knew what that purple puff thing was. Or ever heard of a Type:Null. While the metal-headed chimera didn't seem very keen on letting him touch his helmet, it didn't have a problem with him using a potion on it. Though, it did obviously still pull away cautiously at his touch. "Seems cruel to have something like that stuck on its head..." Ducky commented, managing to give its neck a pat with it only leaning slightly away. Meanwhile, Chikako lightly landed on Jun's shoulder, making herself comfy after all that excitement. Now that things have calmed down, Lana made a comment about his rotomdex. "Huh... Kukui isn't known for giving duds. Akira, want to take a look?" Dakota commented, then asked his own rotomdex. "Certainly!" Akira exclaimed, floating over to her owner. Once the dex was in his hands, she popped out and approached Lana's dex. After some inspection, she narrowed her eyes on the device. "Hey sleepyhead! Wake up!" she chided, giving the other rotom a bit of a jolt. "I guess there is one in there, then?" Ducky chuckled. "Affirmative. It seems to have been asleep." Akira chimed, then zipped back into the comfort of her device. "All the better to eat you with, my dear~" Daiki grinned playfully. It seemed that they had lagged a bit behind everyone else, and the flirty lopunny was first to notice that something must have happened. Jun gave Daiki a look of disapproval as he approached close behind Cynthia. "Whatever happened seems to already been dealt with." Daiki commented aside to Cynthia, casting her a look that said 'now where were we?'

Lana nodded in agreement as Ducky suggested that leaving that horrid looking contraption on the Null's head seemed cruel. "Don't I know it, but ya gotta respect yer pokemon's wishes. If it wanted that helmet off, it woulda let ya take it off." She reasoned. With that craziness settled, Ducky sent Akira over to look at Lana's pokedex, since hers had remained dormant thus far. Apparently this wasn't because she didn't have a rotom in it though, it was just that her rotom was sleeping. Once Akira popped out of Ducky's dex and jolted her own, the dex sprang to life. "Y-y-y-yowzzt!!" Lana's pokedex jumped out of her hands and spun around. "I'm awake! I'm awake..." In spite of it's initial reaction, the rotom quickly slumped tiredly. "F-five more minutes..." It yawned, fluttering back down. Lana chuckled and tickled it a bit. "Come on now, ya got plenty of sleep already. It was mighty unkind of ya to let me go this long without even knowin' ya were in there." The rotom blinked. "Oh! My apologies new master. I did not realize I had been repossessed!" The dex gave an awkward sort of bow. "Shucks, no need fer all that. Just call me Lana." She waved dismissively, smiling at Akira. "Thank ya kindly fer the wake up call." She nodded gratefully with a tip of her hat.
Cynthia smirked as Daiki suggested that his sharp teeth were for eating her. ( "I'd like to see you try it hun~" ) She suggested with amusement, bouncing on the balls of her feet a bit with her arms raised in a mock brawler fashion, throwing a deliberately slow and gentle "punch" to bop his jaw with a click of her teeth. She knew the zoroark had only been kidding and playful so her response had been returned in kind, but as flirty as Cynthia was, she wasn't stupid. Foxes like zoroark were her kind's natural predators, and if he actually came anywhere remotely close to an attempt to attack her, she'd knock him out in a heartbeat. ( "Lucky for you, I like to flirt with danger." ) She murmured, her signature sassy but sweet smile remaining ever present until they caught up with the rest of the group. Attentive, the lopunny noticed that something had occurred, but Daiki dismissed it easily given that whatever had happened, it was dealt with. Cynthia couldn't argue with that logic, and was more than happy to return her attention to the zoroark for the time being.
