Melemele Meadow is a small meadow off of Route 3 that is filled with wild flowers and Yellow nectar to change Oricorio's form. It's described as a paradise where Oricorio dances. In the south-western part of the meadow is a small opening to the Seaward Cave, to lead to Kala'e Bay

Sullivan came to screeching halt at the route edge that entered Melemele Meadow. Immediately his face contorted in disdain, a hand flying up to cover his nose. The air was teaming with pollen and he could already feel his allergies beginning to kick up. He avoided places like this for that reason, but since he’d witnessed Mana dive straight into the yellow sea, he had no choice.
Junpei came to a halt at his heels, a look of disapproval evident on the Rockruff’s face. He was aware of his trainer’s allergies and the trouble Mana was causing with her antics. He took a moment to snuffle the air to try and pinpoint where the Rowlet had disappeared to. He took the lead and led the way in which his nose took him, Sullivan keeping a hand clamped over his face as he slowly rolled after. He was more than happy to continue following at this point…

Sullivan’s eyes were already itching and they’d only been looking for a few minutes. He was sniffing, his nose twitching as it became itchy as well and soon he gave up on trying to shield himself from the impending allergy issues. He kept up following Junpei, separating here and there to help locate Mana. It was hard to tell the difference between the shifts in the flowers; some were caused by the coming and going of a breeze and others by random wild pokemon who were simply enjoying their lively hood in the meadow. No sign of Mana though.
Sullivan snuffle and let out a sneeze, swiping the back of his hand across his face. Ugh… the fun of the challenge was gone at this point and he was just agitated. He didn’t do allergies well and this field was basically a walking trigger. Soon he was on to sneezing fits and plopping down on his rear in the middle of the pathway. He could barely see through the tears and it was probably a hazard to keep his blades on at this point. With a struggle, he pulled his roller-blades off, tying the laces together and hoisting them over his shoulder. He swapped on his sneakers though didn’t bother to lace them up. Hopefully, he wouldn’t trip up on them in his sneezing fits.
Junpei was still following the rogue Rowlet. He stopped a moment, directing his attention to a spot before letting out a harsh bark. The patch shuddered and the Rockruff gave another bark. This time the patch shuddered more violently and the renegade Rowlet busted up and out, flapping wildly with treasure still clutched in her beak.

Sullivan tried to focus through the tears, lashing a hand out to try and snag the bird once it appeared. He wasn’t quite as in range as his blurry vision suggested and Mana gave another muffled squawk, immediately taking off into the air once more. Junpei growled and barked giving chase once more, though at a slower pace. His task, primarily, was to assist Sullivan. Running off while he was dealing with allergy induced blindness was not helping.
The blue-haired man didn’t hesitate of course, swiping the back of his hands over his eyes to try and clear the tears from his eyes before following in the direction of the Rockruff, giving a waving gesture for the pup to lead the way. Red-eyed or no, they needed to catch his starter before the thing ran into trouble. Lab raised didn’t mean she had sense and given the whole situation going on, it was only a matter of time before something happened…

Nijrn surprisingly was a pretty steady flyer once she got into the air. Her take off was haphazard, so Avikna felt it was going to be the same if not worse with the landing. Her grip on Astrid's ball had somewhat loosened however as they'd made their way to the northern end of the island. At the peak of the meadow, Mave and Ookoth made their appearance. Ookoth rested his body down upon the mountainside, as Mave flew over to Nijrn and the two girls. 'We decided to meet halfway.' Mave voiced, explaining why she'd appeared with the legend. Avikna narrowed her gaze, but didn't say anything on the matter. They'd have to meet up again regardless, as the next egg was on another island.
Nijrn in the meantime looked over the meadow, trying to find a place to land. She noted a small hill that bore no flowers. That was a perfect place to land. She didn't want to harm any of the pretty flowers below after all. Lowering herself down, the bat dragon made a rather clumsy attempt to land peacefully. Her psychic powers came in handy when it came to keeping Tay and Avikna safe, though it was still a rather bumpy landing. Avikna and Tay quickly slid off Nijrn's back. "You could use some work with your landings and take offs." Avikna noted. "But you were a pretty good once airborne." Nijrn turned to face Avikna, shoving her head into the crook of Avikna's neck. She frustratedly pushed her head away, patting it gently once there was some space between them.

Nijrn's flight skills to the side, Avikna's attention turned out towards the meadow they'd landed within. Like the grasslands within Ten Carat Hill, this meadow was surrounded at all sides by a large cliff face. Perfect for Ookoth and her fliers to rest upon while they waited for Avikna and Tay to find their second egg. Tay in the meantime was rather awestruck. She'd never seen so many flowers in one patch before. "Well, let's get searching." Avikna stated, tapping Tay on her shoulder. The girl turned with a wide smile and nodded hard. "Okay!" She voiced, then with a turn of her heal she leaped from the small chunk of land they were upon and down into the flowers, moving swiftly, but carefully to avoid harming the flowers. Elias flew after his trainer with a happy chirp, while Etoile released herself and calmly followed after the teen. Avikna for the most part stayed put, watching from her advantage. 'I don't I recall you feeling this happy.' Mave noted, floating down to rest beside Avikna. The red-head crossed her arms, glancing over for a moment before returning her gaze to Tay. 'She's like a light at the end of a long, dark tunnel, right? Yea, you don't need to say anything... I feel it loud and clear. Truth be told, I like this feeling.' Avikna nodded. Mave grinned. From the first day she'd met Tay, and even now... something about that girl just pulled sun rays towards Avikna, rather towards everyone she came across. Not two minutes into her search, and the teen seemed to have already made a friend with another trainer. The boy in question appeared to be about the same age, if not a bit younger. They laughed and nodded, parting ways some before facing one another... Avikna caught on then. Was she about to have her first trainer battle? It made Avikna wonder just how closely Tay had been watching her.

Tay was having more fun simply exploring the meadow rather than looking for eggs. She was keeping an eye out, but when it came to any little thing moving she was easily pulled from her task at hand. That was until she finally did come across an egg, but apparently she wasn't the only one vying for it. As she reached forward, her hand brushed another, quickly pulling her own back the other hand retreated as well, and soon both hand's owners were looking at one another. "Oh, Sorry." A boy spoke, leaning back, as if he was going to run away. "No... I think you found it first." Tay smiled, standing up to face the boy fully. He let out a shy smile shaking his head. "I think we found it at the same time." He replied. "Uhh... How about we battle for it then?" He suggested, holding up a pokeball. "You are a trainer right? I say you land earlier with that woman... on the Noivern." Tay nodded. "That is Avikna, she saved me." Tay replied nonchalantly. The boy titled his head in bemusement. "Well, I train dragons myself." He voiced. "So what do you say? Winner gets the egg?" That sounded like a really cool idea. Tay had watched Avikna fight other trainers before, so she understood the gist of it. This is what trainers did after all. Taking a step back, the boy released his first Pokemon. And with that their battle began.

The battle was something to behold. Tay stared in bewilderment as she gave out commands as best she could. In the end, Etoile's strength came in handy saving the brunette from a defeat. Elias and Manuel had fallen during the battle, leaving Tay to return them. The boy shared a melancholy look as he returned his Goomy. Tay approached him, fishiing from her bag the Revives Avikna had recently given her. "You can use some of my revives." The teen voiced. By this time Avikna had come across the field of flowers and stood somewhat menacingly to the side, watching Tay openly defy what she'd only recently told her. Luckily enough the boy refused the offer. "No thanks. I'll just go find my grandpa. He's here with me as well." The boy voiced, motioning up towards the cliff side. The man in question stood watching over the two of them with an older looking dragon at his side. Avikna arched a brow at the appearance of the Dragon. Was that another Dragon-type from this region. Then something caught Avikna's eye. The man wasn't looking down at this grandson... no he was looking directly at her. When he realized she'd caught on, the man stood and patted the Dragon's head.With quick fluid moments, unlike something you'd think an older looking dragon like that could do, the beast was at Avikna's front, staring at her.

The dragon stared deeply into Avikna's eyes. The red-head felt a bit uncomfortable, but for whatever reason couldn't find it within herself to look away. Thankfully before long the dragon turned his gaze to the boy, motioning him to get up onto his back. The young boy nodded, quickly leaping onto the dragon's back. No words were spoke, but a simple wave good-bye before the dragon whisked the boy away, leading him back up to his grandfather and off into the unknown. Avikna took in a deep breath before looking back at Tay. "I told you not to waste those didn't I?" Avikna stated, motioning towards the revives still in Tay's hands. The brunette looked down at them before glancing back up towards Avikna. "Yea.... Bu-" "No 'but's." Avikna narrowed her gaze. "Use them on your own Pokemon" With a point of her finger she motioned towards the egg down below Tay, then back towards Ookoth, Mave and Nijrn. "Grab that egg, and let's get moving." Tay stared at Avikna for a moment, as if she wanted to finish what she'd wanted to say. Avikna's gaze narrowed, but then loosened up given Tay's puppy-dog eyes... She hated seeing that look. "It was a kind gesture, but like I said Revives are rare, meaning you can't go out handing them to every trainer you fight. What if you did that and then you didn't have any to revive your own Pokemon? You'd be a sitting ducklett for disaster." Tay's gaze shifted from sadness to bemusement. She then nodded and turned around grabbing her egg. "You're right. I'm sorry." She voiced, turning as she brushed the egg clean. Patting Tay's shoulder, the red-head then lead her younger companion back towards Avikna's awaiting Pokemon. They were off to the next island.

When Alejandro and Diego, who had decided to help look for his teammate, finally found her, Pooka was staring and sniffing at the entrance of the Seaward Cave. Pooka must not have noticed he was approaching because she jumped and bit his hand defensively; but, once she realized it was her trainer she had bitten, the pup's tail and ears drooped and she whined."Don't worry about it. I'm not going to hurt you."Vaporeon's ear fins perked up a bit and she stalked out of the cave just a bit, but didn't get too close. It was just enough to where she was out of the cave and that was it."What's wrong, princess? It's okay. C'mere."Alejandro held his hand out, moving slowly, and smiled a bit when Vaporeon sniffed his hand before pressing her head against his palm."There, see? You're okay."She was so timid, the poor thing. Alejandro let her circle him carefully to examine him and he started noticing faint marks on her. Bite and claw marks, and nothing as minor as battle wounds."What happened? You're all beat up."Vaporeon froze before running off and he frowned. Was it because he asked? Damn. He would have liked to have a Vaporeon.

Alejandro was a bit worried about that Vaporeon, but he didn't know where she went to go after her. With luck, he'd run into her again and be able to find out what happened to her. He looked down when his sleeve was tugged and watched Diego hold up an egg to him. Well, there wasn't anything he could do about Vaporeon right now, so he might as well focus on the hunt."Good work, Diego."After putting the egg with the first one, Alejandro got out his notebook to look at their route."It's back to Hau'oli so we can take a boat to Heahea. I'm sure I'm saying that wrong."
Sullivan’s allergies almost immediately picked up upon exiting Seward Cave. The winds were really blowing now and kicking up the pollen, an unavoidable factoid of this place. He started to sniffle, trying to blink away the itchiness in his eyes and maintain speed as they went through the meadow along the pathways. It was important that he stuck to the pathways in this area; his wheels weren’t quite cut out to roll through beds of flowers. Plus, from what his blurred vision could see, there appeared to be some Oricorio active to take advantage of the situation.
