Once she was flying to the next location, Scarlett worked on a reply to Zak. She supposed it was overdue now that she had yet another text from him. It was actually really frustrating. Not only was she falling behind on the texts, but he was completely showing her up in egg collecting. She wasn't sure that even if she was more motivated to collect eggs by a challenge from him to start, she wouldn't have been able to collect them as fast as he was now. Not that he needed to know that.

There, that was reasonable wasn't it? She was still allowing him a chance to 'win' even though she very well could have revoked it all together for his rude treatment, or claimed that because she finished, it was a loss, but she wasn't. Sure there was also the white lie there. She wasn't finished, she had two more eggs to look for, but that basically meant she was done, and even though it had taken her some time to reply to this text (meaning he had probably found one or two more eggs since sending the text), she severely doubted that he was going for find about 18 or so eggs in the time it took her to find two. His pace had been fast, but certainly not that fast.

Scarlett laughed at Dotty's enthusiasm. "I didn't even say go!" She pointed out, but her tone suggested she didn't really care. She was glad Dotty wasn't as difficult as Vandal when it came to this sort of thing. In fact, it provided Scarlett a chance to practice parkour. She hadn't really looked at it or appreciated the scenery much until now, but Malie Garden was a sort of paradise. Bridges over pools of water with lily pads and fountains, pokemon running around, clean, fresh air... Scarlett embraced it all as she burst into a full sprint, keeping her eye out for any signs of eggs while she leapt over bridges like hurdles, laughing wildly as she did so. Between the two of them, it didn't take long before Dotty found an egg. Scarlett wasn't surprised though, the psychic could sense these things while Scarlett herself had to keep an eye out while still moving fast.

Cheri stared at the doorway of the garden, frowning a little as she glanced at a whining Dova. It appeared the garden was a no-fly zone and so she wouldn’t be going much farther unless she decided to shuffle across the ground, which would be terribly uncomfortable for her. Luck would have it that Lafayette was still asleep too so that meant she and Noah would have to venture in on their own and trust the dragon not to disappear. The gardens were nice; a massive expansion of well-kept hedges and grass as well as bridges and ponds. It seemed like a great kind of place to go for a morning stroll, and it showed as they could enjoy the sun reflecting off the dew on the grass. It was very pretty.

Noah was taken in by the sights. He’d never really seen a sight like this before. He had to admit, despite the horrible Sharpedo incident, the islands themselves seemed to be amazing paradises to visit. They had a lot of flowers and greenery and amazing scenery. It was just… gorgeous, he had to admit. He made his way over to one of the ponds, peering in and observing the little water life going on underneath. There were fish and a few pokemon and just all kinds of things, tingling to life.

Cheri in the meantime, was focused on the task at hand. She wandered her way into one of the areas full of bamboo shoots, rummaging around and searching through them for any hints of an egg. She was confident that in one of these was an egg and when the first one failed to produce any results, moved on to the next one to check. It took her three tries but the last one yielded results with a light green egg. Perfect. With that she found Noah and drug him away from his fascination with the ponds and back to find Lafayette.

They were here, onto the final island. If he hadn’t been hundreds of feet in the air, Huey would’ve been vibrating with excitement. As it was, he settled for just looking eagerly at the approaching island and thinking about what he’d do first to celebrate his 50th egg, besides head to the luau to have them counted, of course. My pokedex says you can find Espurr in Kalos, I’ve spent most of my time in Unova, so I guess it’s not surprising that I haven’t seen any before. Yeah, pink Espurr are ‘shiny’, and they’re pretty rare! That’s really cool. Maybe! I hope he is. Being awake is good, but it can be hard to concentrate when you’re all jittery. I don’t think my parents would like it if I wrestled really big pokemon, maybe I’ll just stick to wrestling pokemon that are Cloud’s size. I had to look up what a Khanaskan was, it’s really big! Your trainer must be super tough to be able to wrestle them! I’d want to meet him. I’m sorry he didn’t win, did he get hurt? What kind of rocks would you suggest I throw?
He sent it, ever amused, and then passed the communicator on to Cloud, freeing himself up to begin searching for his egg. They were so close, it was really exciting. He just needed a few more minutes, or maybe half an hour. It depended on how fortunate they were.
