The day started quite calmly. Kohaku woke up when the first rays of the sun caressed his face lightly through the curtains he had neglected to draw fully closed the night before. When he opened his eyes, the first the young man could see was the sky through his window with a few white clouds and feeling the rays that were touching him lightly it wasn't very cold either. With a soft smile, Kohaku rose from his bed and yawned a bit as he stretched before he went ahead and got ready for a shower and getting ready for the day.
After the shower he picked up the futon he had been laying on and took it outside, neatly hanging up some parts to air them as his parents taught him from a very young age. After making sure it was in it's place and wouldn't fall, the young man walked back inside and to the kitchen where he picked several ingredients from his cupboard, placing them on the counter before he proceeded to make some tea and started to make himself some miso soup followed by white rice and he went to eat his breakfast in the calm of the morning.
He would rather have company as well but after such a while of living in this house by himself now, he had slowly gotten used to it. The only interruption of the silence came in the form of a soft singing of birds outside in the garden. Even if it was lonely at times, Kohaku did enjoy these mornings. Living here in this house and calm town, he could fully concentrate on writing at the hours he spends behind the desk for them. Kohaku looked outside as he wondered if he couldn't just take this day of and take a hike through the forest and relax some at the lake. He had quite progressed in his latest book and he was well on time too, at least the time he gave himself as to not let his readers wait to long, yet write down a great book.
