It was really quite loud in here today. Yennefer's pained cries echoed around the room as she prepared to birth her child. It was quite distracting, so it was no wonder that Seva worked more slowly than usual. Her eyes scanned each paper, soon to be followed She didn't so much as raise her gaze from her work as Ashe spoke, offering an apology with an explanation of her own ignorance. She couldn't blame the guard. The woman had overall left her with the impress of being a pleasant one to be around. "I understand." She briefly raised her right hand in a gesture as if waving off the apology. For what ever was happening, she had no intentions of letting it set her off track.
When the door flew open again just after the sorceress' cries to "get it out" and the headmaster's voice answered, she briefly raised her gaze to look at the man who she would hold as partially responsible for this scene. Child-making was a two-person task, after all. He fled the room immediately after he had spoken, so the lich simply returned to the paperwork for a few brief moments. Then, quite suddenly, Lucius was back to enter a flurry of activity to prepare for his child's coming. It was only when he told her to drop her pen and grab a camera that she looked up a second time. She did not look amused. She never looked amused, but somehow, she managed to look especially not amused in this moment without really altering her expression to any great degree.
She slowly stood up, placing the pen down neatly across the page she had been working on and leaning her staff against the wall before she approached the headmasters desk. She hadn't seen anything that resembled what she recalled a camera to look like on top of the desk, so she leaned over to go through the drawers. Second down, she found what looked like a simple enough camera. It had all the correct features.. Now with camera in hand, she turned to approach the group, stepping around to Lucius' side. "Here, sir." She stated as she held the camera out to him. She just wanted to get back to her stack of papers. Better to do them sooner than later, after all.

Yen had pushed as hard as she could until she felt numb. The fact that it didnt feel like someone was trying to claw their way out of her was a nice feeling for sure.... but then that was a little worrisome to the woman. Was that suppose to happen? One thing that she did know was that there was no longer a pressure in her abdomen, in fact it felt...empty. Taking a deep breath in, she looked to both Ashe, Seva, and Lucius....but something was wrong? Lucius didnt seem calm, even though he was doing his best to pretend he was alright.
The silence was dreadful for the time being, and Yen at least knew that silence wasn't a good thing. Usually, or when she observed her friends give birth, there was a gasp and the child would start to cry of some sort....so why wasn't their baby crying? Was it alright? Was it....did it...Biting her lip she closed her eyes and prayed that whatever force was there would tell her this child was ok...anything.... and she got her wish.
A very tiny little cry could be heard. It was so small and so innocent, yet it sounded so cute~

As Lucius explained that he wanted her to take the pictures and pointed towards Yennifer's more private area, Seva had to wonder how it came to pass that she was being told to take pictures of a woman's labor. As she recalled, this was not part of her job description. She did not argue, however. She merely nodded as her hand fell back to her side, camera still clutched in her pale, slender fingers. Her ears tilted back as she half turned away, stepping around towards the silver-haired woman's side and raising the camera. Crimson eyes were cast downward on the deceptively simple looking contraption in pensive contemplation of this task set before her. It was questionable as to how well these were likely to turn out, but she soon raised the camera to begin obediently snapping pictures. No doubt a great many would be rather blurry and out of focus. Not to mention the darkness surrounding Yennifer. Still, the sooner this was over with, the sooner she could continue her actual job without interruptions, right?
When that darkness disappeared, it revealed that the child was, as expected, only one child and not the four that this demonic 'midwife' had initially claimed. She took a step backwards out of their way, allowing space for the others to move. There was only one last picture snapped right at the end before she lowered the camera and turned her attention back to Lucius and the new mother. "Congratulations. May I return to my work now?" She could not have sounded less enthusiastic. Nothing of her tone betrayed either joy or eagerness. It was more like going through a formality, which was only for the sake of continuing polite relations with her boss and coworkers. That, and she wanted to be assured that she would not be pulled away from her work again. She hardly even glanced at the child..

A healthy baby girl!! Her little cries were music to the sorceress's ears as Silver handed her the small little girl. She was so tiny, so fragile... The baby had this small tuff of black hair, pale skin, and when she was crying her little eyes would open slightly to reveal one purple eye, and one red eye. Yennefer was so happy she started to cry.
When Silver left them however, Yen quickly looked to her, tears running down her eyes. Silver... you are family so please stay and come say hello~ Silver had pretty much been there for Yen for the whole time. even with the ups and downs. Looking to her future husband, she started to giggle. D-darling~ A healthy baby girl!

There was silence coming from Lucius, he started at the little infant in with a mixture of relief, awe, happiness and fascination. She was so small...so fragile...He curiously reached over and gently felt the little girl's cheeks, and soft! He notice how her bare skin didn't carry any horribly burns or past scars; unlike the adults in the room. Her mind was still pure and not corrupted or plagued with negative thoughts. He wonders whats going up then...she doesn't even know how to talk yet! You can tell from the way the headmaster is staring at the child that this is all new to him. Despite having another child of his own; and being the person always nagging the staff especially Ashe to bear children of their own.
Well that is new, when the infant barely open her eyes he notice she had heterochromia; one purple eye and one red eye. He smiled grew wider, she took both her parents unlike being a splitting image one them(*cough*Silver*cough*Sky*...but he could definitely confirm that the boy has some of his facial feature and tush;that one is a fact!...moving on.) Talking about splitting images, the man couldn't help but chuckle how both of his girls are crying, "She looks just like you.~" he cooed at their crying faces. "Yes come, she wants to see who also helped pulled her out.~" and see that mother of her half-brother. He wondered how Sky would react to the sudden news. He didn't quite know how to thank Silver, if she wasn't here...there would...bloody complications...especially giving birth to a Devil's child; from what he heard when his mother gave birth to him. "Name your price." he said straightforward even if the woman didn't want anything in return, he would find a way to express his thanks.
"Your a mommy.~" he hugged her from the other side and gentle nuzzle on the cheek, mimicking Ashe's actions plus a peck on the cheek. He looked over at Seva, this lady seriously needs to get laid. He hasn't meant anyone in his years paying more attention to text on paper than a newborn baby and seen their birth first hand. This made the an curious what happened in the past that made the woman's personality so...overly formal to put it lightly. "Yes Seva, you may.~ Though...expect a small Welcome Baby party in the coming days or week.~" Sip and sees, while Welcome Baby party is still not as popular as baby showers, are gaining traction as a fun party for new moms. People get the chance to meet the new baby, and congratulate the mother on a job well done. He randomly poke Yen's nose. "And only family, staff and teachers are allowed. I would be happy if you will attend.~" so the Matchmaking can beginning he thought deviously. He turned his attention to Yen then baby, "You know what you we are going to name her~?" Only one name stuck in his mind.

She looks like both of us silly~ she was so smitten with the baby in her arms, she almost didnt notice Lucius was rubbing the babies little cheek. Looking to Silver, Yen smiled brightly as she showed the little baby girl to her. Silver thank you so much... if anything happens to us... I want you and Ashe to please raise her.... make sure she is always safe and is always happy~ The sorceress had pretty much declared that Ashe and Silver were now the appointed God mothers of the baby girl.
The baby was beautiful.... Yennefer looked down to her with such a happy aura. The little baby opened her mouth and let out a yawn as she made a cute little suckling motion with her lips. Looking to her fiancé, she reached up and placed her hand on his cheek. I love you... The father of our little girl... and.. Lucy~

It would be quite a touching scene, if Seva could be touched by such things anymore. A new mother with her baby in her arms and her friends and lover gathered around her. Even the inappropriate location could not ruin such an atmosphere. And yet, the lich seemed completely immune. She stood still, aside from an occasional swish of her tail, watching and waiting to be dismissed back to her real work. Luckily, she did not have to wait very long. Lucius found a moment among admiring the baby and her mother to agree to Seva's request. It was followed with a warning to expect a party for the child's arrival. A celebration of the new life that had entered the world. It sounded rather pointless, but she nodded anyway. "Very well." As she turned away to return to her work, she paused. Her ears twitched, then she stepped towards the door. Once she had a good view of their little gathering, she lifted the camera to snap one more picture. Why would she do this? Heck if I know, she doesn't even tell me these things. Anyway, after taking that last picture, she walked over to Lucius' death to place the camera there, then dutifully returned to her seat and resumed filling out the paperwork she had left there.

"Hm? But she has your crying face.~" he commented. It was too early to judge which parent the girl dominantly looks like, guess they have to wait until she grows up. The headmaster gently ran his hands over the baby's small patch of hair feeling if the girl had wavy or straight...straight. Interesting, she's literally a mixture of both of them; the eyes are evidence enough. He arched a brow when Yen promoted Silver and Ashe to basically Godmothers, as for his side...he brutally thinks Thanatos and Erwin aren't capable of being deemed as Godfathers, being them as uncles to the little girl is safe enough for now. "Does that mean they would fully take charge in diaper duty?" he eagerly questioned, he personally wasn't looking forward for that.
When Seva agreed to come to the future party event, inside his head he was cooking up various ways were the secretary will get herself a man or a woman. But that for now was kept at the back of his head.
Lucius was a bit confused about Silver's message until he laid his eyes on on the little infant. Great, he has two biological kids to take care of. His crimson eyes instantly lit up when ideas and thoughts about Sky and Lucy bonding as siblings flooded his head, we are talking about matching sibling outfits. Not only Sky but Ciri too, though. "What do you think Sky will look like in a sailor outfit~?" He can see the next cover of the school magazine now.
Suddenly his mind went immediately blank when he saw the made the cute motion with her lips.Yen's voice almost come out like a radio with not the accurate frequencies in his ears. "Lucy?" he came back from the baby's cuteness trance, "Lucy~!" he squealed happily like a little kid in the candy store. He held Yen's hand that was rested on his cheek, "I love you too, dear" he pecked her on the cheek. "Can I hold her?" he asked, he wants to be on the safe side and not swipe the baby off her arms; he doesn't want to wake the new mam bear inside of her, even though his the papa bear. But really, whose scarier when it comes to their offspring?
"She would need a playmate." Now, if Ashe even dare made eye contact with Lucius, he would give her a knowing look with a smile. "Get to humping.~" he clapped, keeping it PG13.

Her fiance was right, it was much to early to know who the baby would take after the most. But for now, Yennefer was still going to claim that she looked like her father. Kissing baby Lucy's forehead, she looked to Lucius when he asked if he could held the baby. In that moment, Yen didn't want to let her baby go. However, it was their baby and she had to remember this, no matter how much she wanted to cuddle the baby girl. With a nod, she gently helped Lucius take Lucy and made surr he was holding her correctly, even though a few moments before she had no idea what she herself was doing.
Little baby Lucy wasn't too pleased with all the movement, but when her daddy had her in his arms she was once again happy. Opening her small eyes, she would look at him for a few moments before closing them again and repeating the process. Her small little hands would clench and unclench as she snuggled against her daddy.
Yennefer watched as her lover held their baby and she couldn't help but smile. Her body was very much sorr now that the chaos was over, and she was ted to sleep.. . But little Lucy was worth staying up for.
