Dairah Vacche - Hive Draw
Another bee booth? Dairah mused to herself. There must have been a swarm of buzzy lusii migrating through the caverns some sweeps ago. Well, yes, two booth runners with buzzy lusii were most likely a coincidence, especially considering that they were different types of buzzers, but the thought of a sudden uptick in the amount of bee-type lusii amused her.
The first game that caught her attention was the hive draw game. It seemed quick and easy, so she reached over and grabbed a buzzbeast. The number on its beehind read 55, and so Dairah went to claim a trinket. She initially considered getting a necklace, but instead, she went for a bracelet. The option to customize the bracelet won her over, and she placed an order for one with orange, yellow, and black beads. That way, she could get the bee colors with her own! Everyone wins.

The crowd of passing faces sometimes blurred in Nictor's eyes, becoming hard to look at and process. Dealing with so many trolls was king of hard, to be honest, but he was managing fairly well, if he thought about it. Leagues better than he used to, honestly, stutter or not.
When the hemoanon troll from the past few days approached, Nictor came to attention again. Her stern expression made him nervous about the consequences should he disappoint her and not knowing where she fell on the blood spectrum was something he was not used to at all. Nictor saw a glimmer on the hemoanon's neck where he wasn't sure if it was there before or not, but when he looked, hie felt a small but pleased smile curl his lips. It was nice seeing trolls appreciate his wares, especially one that gave Nictor such a strict impression.
Nictor gave a polite greeting back, finding the hemoanon to be a very agreeable customer, if nothing else. She was abrupt the first day, but seemed to be getting more relaxed each day, so that was good. And she kept coming back, another good sign. Probably.
Nictor was distracted by some other customers, unconcerned when the hemoanon took her prize and moved on. She wasn't likely to do anything bad, he didn't think, given her previous couple visits. And if she did, well, Kolako was also keeping an eye out.
When he saw her stumble back up to the counter, he had to raise his eyebrows a bit, shooting her a concerned look. What had-? Looking behind her, he saw Beehemoth looking disgruntled and trying to smooth down his fluff. Ohm another one of those rides, huh? Nictor cringed sympathetically, though it was likely more to his own lusus than the plight of the trolls that took a ride on him. He felt sorry for them certainly, but he just didn't get how they kept tugging his fluff like this! Ahh, should he say something?
"I-it's fine," he decided on, pressing his lips together in worry. He didn't want her to be sick, but he also felt like he needed to offer some kind of defense for Bee's actions. Not that it'd particularly help. After a pause, he continued. "S-s-sorry, he's n-not used to r-rough h-handling l-l-like that. T-take all th-the time y-you need.
Nictor was glancing to the back to check on Kolako, so he might have jumped and made a noise when he turned back around to see a little greenblood waiting on him. Nictor's brain stalled a few seconds when the kid immediately jumped into business talk. This little greeblood was looking to buy? He hadn't had many offers come from Bloodfest, so it was a bit surprising, but an encouraging development.
"Y-yes, we h---ave l-large batches o-of all th-the honeys h-h-here and s-s-some o-other spe---cialty honeys," Nictor pitched, snagging a business card and sliding it across the table to the greenblood. It was simple, but gave her a way to contact and find him. He wasn't sure if she meant to say did he have it here ready to sell now or planned to purchase later, but buying a bunch of glass jars you ahd to haul around in this crowd just did not bode well to him.
Nictor jumped a bit at the exclamation of his name, his heart rate taking an abrupt leap at the momentary panic. His head whipped to Hemera a little too fast, his braid whipping around and smacking his face but he barely noticed. What she said started to sink in and his face burned. He'd honestly hadn't thought about the outfit that much. Kolako had seemed utterly delighted when he came back from the other booth though, so he'd kept it all on.
He bit his lip and couldn't help but look away, the nervous habit of rubbing his palms on his pants quickly resurfacing. Hemera seemed impressed with the look too. It was...it was weird getting such positive attention about his appearance when he'd been feeling so displaced in his own skin. Not bad but just strange.
"A-a-ah, n-no, it's temp---orary dye f-from B-b-borrow Brush. And some o-of it's, uhh, e-extensions," Nictor returned, feeling apologetic. Maybe he should try to keep it? Hemera seemed pretty enthusiastic about it. This much color usually wasn't his thing.
Right, right, she'd complimented him.
"T-thanks," Nictor said, still looking pretty bashful. "K-Kolako l-l-like it too."
Nictor perked up a bit when he saw another customer approaching and in a few seconds managed to place the face, with a big friendly smile that had caught Nictor's attention the first time.
"Ahh, F-fellah! I-it's good t-too see y-you too!" Nictor returned the greeting, smiling a bit in return, feeling more at ease with the redblood than with most of the customers. Nictor nodded in agreement with Fellah's words. At least the Bloodfest crowds weren't rabid like the Saint Perigee ones were.

There was no way that Psykgi was going to avoid this booth for long (or at all). Between a lusus that loved sugar and her own love of sugar, a honey booth was irresistible.
"Hello, hello!" she greeted the pollen-covered yellowblood, "So what's this game, then?" Apparently, she just had to pick up a plastic buzzbeast and...
"Awww, no win? Well, I'll just come back next time, haha!"
However, the yellowblood pushed a jar into her hands, insisting that, actually, she had won. He showed her the number.
"Oh! Well... Thanks!" she said, surprised but delighted. Hurrah for honey!

Oh, hey, a honey tasting. She'd never heard of sage honey before, and she had no idea that honey could be medicinal. What a thing!
She took some snacks and... forgot the honey apparently. Or, rather, her lusus had taken their portion all for themselves.
"Aww, damn." Psy said, pouting, "Well, Ma, is it good?"
It was good enough. The swarm really couldn't distinguish between different types of sweet, though, so Ma'am couldn't really help her there.

... Bee rides? Psykgi looked at the creature with misgiving, but she figured why not give it a... bumble?
"Hello there! she greeted it with insectoid chitters, "How are you today? Good? Good!" That seemed the most polite thing to do. She didn't know if it would understand roach, and she didn't think that she could do the pheromone thing, but it seemed to at least be something nice in bee.
"Whatever you want to do is fine - just don't drop me, okay?" she told it before getting on, "Oh my gosh!" she said, kneading some of the fluff between her fingers, "This is so soft! Ma, you have to feel this."
Ma'am agreed that it was, indeed, very soft.
Take off was smooth and pleasant, and the flight was fast, furious, and eventful. Psykgi hung on for the ride, the wind blowing her hair back, caressing her skin. When she disembarked finally, she was laughing heartily, chatting and complementing the big creature in both insect and alternian. Ma'am wasn't so impressed, but she decided to keep her mouths shut.
"See you again, friend!"
