|| Val Martingale || "The world is a dangerous place, it does a man good to be even more dangerous."
|| Location: Shield's Tavern || Company: None || Mood: Hungry, Alert, Curious ||

Val was just beginning to get used to the loud atmosphere of the tavern when a well dressed man promptly sat down across the table from him. Normally, Val would've taken exception to this kind of behavior, but the stranger began speaking so quickly that he didn't really have time to get his thoughts together. The other had a strange air about him, perhaps it was the way that his clothes sat oddly on him, as if he were unused to wearing them? or perhaps it was the faint metallic and oily scent that Val had come to associate with various kinds of metal armor. He wasn't sure, and very promptly thought about asking the stranger to leave, however when the other mentioned a job that he was interested in, and nobody willing to hire on for such a quest? surely if the reward were good then it would receive more attention than having to go from person to person trying to entice them with promises of gold or magic. Still though, the stranger had a way with words that stirred at Val's need for another adventure, and a bit more coin in his purse.

Such an opportunity required some thought before setting out on though, and Val was world wise enough to understand the threat of a smooth talking, well dressed man offering such rewards as enchanted items. It wasn't unheard of to be sure, but freely disclosing that information didnt seem entirely smart by Val's measure. Chuckling in his head at his own thought, because truely who was he to judge the man by his words when he himself carried an enchanted bow openly, though he did find himself curious as to how the man across from him immediately identified it as an enchanted item when most would only know of it if Val had chosen to call upon it's magical traits.

Val leveled his gaze to the newcomer. "I would very much like to see any single person in this establishment make a play for my bow. It would be highly entertaining. You have my attention, stranger. What did you have in mind?

"The minute you think of giving up,

Coryza’s dainty fingers leisurely shuffled through the five polaroid pictures in her hands. Each one had an image of an animal, each one with unique appearances that made them wanted. She took a marker and placed a large “X” on two of the pictures that had the word “Cave” scribbled on them. She placed the marker and pictures away before gazing out into the lively jungle from on top of a sturdy branch. “Three more to go.” She softly spoke to herself as she jumped down from the branch and on to the ground with ease. She took another look around before walking further into the jungle.

The Lieutenant is currently on a job to hunt a group of moronic hunters who’ve been doing an amazing job at hurting the environment in the Wildlands. The pictures she was looking at earlier were creatures that are getting close to the endangered list. As a person who loves animals the Lieutenant could not just stand-by and do nothing. The woman already dealt with a bunch at the caves, five now deceased and one was set free to deliver a message. Instead of leaving the Wildlands, the fool ran into the jungle and so she went off to pursue him. Coryza had a hunch that the leader was here in an attempt to hunt down the rarest creature on her list. It was a serpent like creature that could resemble a dragon, its scales illuminate in the dark and have been used in many ways, but mainly in jewelry. The creature’s scales don’t fall off easily so they’re rather impossible to collect. The woman narrowed her eyes at the thought of being killed just so that some selfish person can wear you. ‘Only one will live. The others will atone for their sins. I’ll make sure no one threatens these innocent lives any further’ She continued to follow the trail the poacher had left for her, remaining cautious as a hunter would not be so careless.

think of the reason why you held on for so long."

[Battle On The High Seas]
Battle Theme- Back-Fire

● All about the ship calls of alarm seem to erupt from everywhere, but it was not all chaos though. These were mostly veteran sailors who had been though many a dangerous situations before. They found even more order when the Captain Edward took the deck with Palamecia taking the lead. The man wasted no time in getting his crew in order and taking the wheel from his first mate. Who was to get the cannons ready ''' Find your legs my crew get the cannons ready and the archer if the beast comes back we will be ready!.'' the man shouted as his crew often called back aye Captain. The crew got themselves in order for the next attack, but many including the Captain did not missed the bravery of the Dragoon. Who blasted the dragon with compressed air slowing the dragon for a bit offering sometime to order there defenses.

● Loveria watched it all the attack came suddenly form the sky, but she was no fool either. Eventually they would be attacked by the wyrm to the dragon it might have been just another ship...it picked the wrong one. Loveria watched Dragoon air attack and she applauded the Drakengard silently. Even she had no idea they were here, but she knew of them after being in Dragon Castle for thirteen years how could she not? They were not unlike herself warriors capable of taking on the essence of a dragons in a totally different way! Different land came different variations of warriors, but they all one thing in common they're Dragoon. Palamecia rushed to her mother side occasionally bumping into a sailors by accident, but to their shock they're the ones falling to the ground and not this golden maiden. When she made it to her mother's side the paladin never tore her eye's from the spectacle of the white dragon.''Here is your first encounter with a evil wyrm you know what is expected of you?''those were the words her mother spoke as she approached.

々 Palamecia noted a hints of worry in her tone the perceptive dragon knew it was not spoken with lack of faith, but with parental care. ''Yes mother I'll wait the command'' she said before taring her gaze from the great white Dragon. To her the Dragon was a perversion of dragon kind and her golden dragon blood was boiling. A gold dragon natural enemy was not a white dragon ,but this one was evil just the same. Her discipline saving her from being reckless as she denied her primal urges, she would face the creature with a clear head. Loveria stood with both her weapons drawn charging them up by absorbing mana from around the area. '' The Drakengard is here guess we have no choice ,but the back them up'' she said in her calm tone, but she left hints that they attended to do more than just back up. Palamecia caught that hint and smirked looking over at the lone Drakengard having knowledge of them.

々Then came the call from the mighty Captain fire! They would not be fast enough to turn their canons and face with a barrage of cannon fire. Instead many sailors took up bows and arrows playing the part of archers. They sent a barrage of arrows at the dragon as it came back for another attack. The arrows soared through he sky heading for their attended target. As that was happening Loveria looked to Palamecia before jumping on top of the rails. The she swung her blades in a blur striking air releasing to blue blade waves made of energy from her swords. The attack formed into an X right behind the barrage of arrows it was not a strong attack. Palamecia wasted no time in forming her golden wings and tail and taking to the skies as her powerful wings allowed her to escape gravity. She had timed her accent perfectly as she found a break and no arrows came her way.

々 A shout of hold could be heard all across the deck as the Captain recognize the figure in the sky the gold gave her away. Palamecia was hoping the dragon would be too distracted by the sudden counter attack the ships as they align their cannons. She took to the clouds her dragon eyes easily able to see the world below in great detail. Calculating her timing she came out of the clouds sword leading the way. The rookie paladin was going to dive bomb the dragon like a bird of prey does a flock of pigeons. Wings shining like pure gold she hoping to sever the dragon spine in one dive. Loveria activated her dragon senses allowing her to survey her daughter's decent much clearer and better. This was a test to see if the girl could think on her feet at crucial times. What would she do if she misses? how could she counter it? she must look at all the angels and all the options before her.

々 The Dragoon Knight made her way to the Drakengard Vice Captain and nodes her respects to them all. '' Guess we'll be hunting together'' she said to them all before facing the direction of the dragon. Fire seeped from the corners of her mouth as, she knew what to do against a white wyrm. If Palamecia had to flee she would cover that retreat with mighty flames of a red dragon's breath. If this had been a lesser vessel they might have been overwhelmed already, but this time it would be different. A capable captain and his mighty crew, a host of dragoon the drakengard, a Drgoon-Knight and a Dragon Paladin. This time the great white Dragoon had bitten off more than it could chew....or did it?

Theme: Autum Born
Personal Theme- The Impulse
Battle Theme:Feldschlacht III (Going Old School)
Abilities

Golden Breath: A unique yet powerful breath of golden flames that can decimate a unwary foe. This breath is seeped in divine energy most effective against evil entities like demons, devils undead etc. A fun trick do to with this move is to turn inanimate objects into solid gold for a short amount of time(3 post). In her her true form the breath is 100% stronger ,but as a human or any other form the breath is 50% weaker. This is due to the fact that she hasn't fully mastered using it in another form.
(Note:can't turn living things into gold)

Shape Shift: Like all dragons she can shape-shift into anything she pleases for a while. She can also give herself parts of her dragon form for like wings, horns and a tail. Even as another form she still retains her dragon strength and natural defenses.
Draw Back: She has not fully master the shape-shifting ability yet so her max duration is (Ten post)

        Dragon's Natural Gifts:
As a young dragon she is the size of a horse yet still formidable as all dragons are. Her scales gives her natural defense against blunt attacks and some magical attacks. Her senses are superb ,but even dragons senses can be tricked. Her horns can do some damage as well. Her wings are strong enough for flight and can be used to buffet enemies into submission as well as her powerful tail. Her strength is superior to any human and above(Not all creatures but dragons are strong in general).
Save The Queen: A longsword that seems to glow dimly with unnatural
light it remains dormant. This blade was found by Vosol Louveria old friend. The master craftsmen managed to put the sword together most of its power lies dormant. It does give the wilder the ability to cast apprentice level white magic(cure, protect etc) to six times at least. This is a perfect blade for a would be paladin yet what power does it truly hold?
        Save The Queen
Sword-Play Palamecia has learn the art of swordplay she has combine her mothers teachings with her own creating her own style. Although her skills with the blade are great she still has a long way to go as she tries to unlock the power of the sword.
(Note: When the blade is fully awaken the blade transform into a blade made of pure holy light. Not only does it become more powerful its power can be drawn into the user allowing them to tap into powerful holy magic/control light itself. Light Mode only last for even post before it needs to recharge which will be seven post later even it out a bit)

OCC:Added in npcs to make the post more interesting I've no intention of making any atm.
々Location: Aboard a ship to [Mazu island]
々Thoughts:'' Should of expected as much to arms then!''
々Company: Palamecia, Edward [Npc] Ark and the Drakengard

々 Item Sack Of Holding: This where she keeps most of her times that are too much to carry around. ( Two sacks of gold, copper and silver coins,a map of the region, wrapped up mutton chops (6),biscuits(6) , (3) bota bag for water, dragon herbs (5) Food ingredients/spices (4) various books on dragons(5 books) and camping supplies)
Theme: Struggle
Personal Theme: From Past To Present
Battle Theme: Those Who Fight(Violin)
۩ ''A bag full of coins never hurt either.''۩

Abilities:
々 Dragon Breath: Louveria is able to channel the various elemental breaths of the dragons as her own. This includes fire breath, ice , Lightning, holy, water, wind, magma, and darkness. These powerful attacks come in handy when dealing with all manner of foes. She can control the size of the breaths from the size of fire truck waterholes or the size of two fire trucks stack on top of each other. She can breath them out or shoot fireball like blast at her targets. Her most powerful breath ability is called scared breath. She must combine all the elemental breathing abilities into one and unleashes a devastating blast from her mouth. The blast is even larger and stronger than all the others and is 3x bigger than her biggest none-combine breath. She only uses sacred breath in dire situations as it tends to drain her stamina. Drawbacks: (1.The longer she uses the breaths the more weaker they become it drains stamina. After using Six of her breath powers they start to become weaker 75%,50% stronger then 25% etc. 2. She can only use elemental dragon breath not the whole arsenal of dragon breath. Meaning no acid breath, smoke breath, rust breath etc.)

々 Dragon Wrath: The dragon blood running trough her veins allows her tap into the essence of the dragon. In this state her skin becomes scale like and her eyes are that of a dragon(blue yet reptilian like). Her strength and speed are increased greatly.
Drawback:This form only last for three post and after it is deactivated the form she must wait six turns to use it.This move is used in burst and often to catch foes off guard.

々 Dragon Sense/Commune: This nifty ability allows Louveria to tap into her dormant dragon senses. All sense are increase to that of a dragon making it hard to sneak up on her. Smell, sight, hearing, touch taste and the six sense are affected for a limited time. she also has the ability to speak to all kinds of dragons no matter the type or alignment.
Drawback:
1.The senses can be tricked if you're clever enough to figure out how and why.
2. Only last for three post before it wears off must wait five post to be reused.

々Dragon Guard: Using this ability she is covered head to toe in shimmering scales that seem to change color according to her will. A strange aura seems to flow all around her in this form changing just like her scales. She has increased defense in this form allowing her to take attacks with the hide of a dragon.
Drawback: This ability only last four post during a fight. The move can be used again after Six post.

々 Sacred Dragon: This is a ability that allows her to turn into a dragon however she has not learn this ability yet so it will remain as Not learned

Note: I shall keep track of all her moves and will add like a move counter system on my post. Also I shall take into account all drawbacks as well.

Items

Mana-Blade: This enchanted weapon allows Louveria to absorb mana form the surrounding area into her blade. The more chargers the stronger the energy she can release from the blade as she swings. Once the blade is maxed out in charges it becomes light blue seeping with pure mana. The blade can be attached to make one long spear like weapon then detached to make dual blades. (7ft long when connected)
Note: Every charge takes a post one charge for each post the blade can only be charged 1- 5 post one being the weakest charge and five being the greatest. 1 charge= 2 swings 2 charge = 4 swings 3 charges = 6 4 charges = 8 swings and 5 charges = 10.(Charges can be interrupted if one can break her concentration as she charges the weapon mostly attacking her repeatedly.)
      User Image
      User Image
Venetian Shield: A shield said to have been made with dragon bones. Is is greatly durable taking on blows without a dent.Though it is powerful it is not unbreakable. The shield has been granted a powerful weightless rune cutting the weight of the shield in half making it lighter to the wielder, but heavy to enemies. Because of this it gives her an advantage over her foes thinking her shield is weighing her down.
      User Image
Draco dagger: A mysterious dagger given to her by her father passed down form generation to generation. What purpose could it serve? Seems to pulse when she is in danger of dying.

xxxxxThe captain and crew were quick to respond to the threat, turning the ship broadside to aim their cannons at the ice dragon even as it came at them. Ark cast a sidelong glance at the golden maiden that made her way towards an armor-clad woman who looked more than just a little familiar. "Aren't those the Highwinds?" one of the Lancers asked in surprise.
xxxxx"That they are," Ark confirmed. Louveria and Palamecia Highwind were considered to be something like celebrities within the Lancer community. Louveria was an accomplished Dragoon from a northern continent, battling dragons and training prospective dragoons before retiring to Dragon Castle for thirteen years. She disappeared after some time, eventually returning with a child. Many rumors about Palamecia's relationship with her swirled about, but in the end she was revealed to be a dragonkin child under her care, and the buzz had died down. How odd yet unsurprising it was to see them here, likely on the same mission as the Drakengard by chance.
xxxxx"Think they're here for the dragon?" the other Lancer asked as Louveria looked in their direction. Louveria and Palamecia were taking positions with the rest of the crew, readying their offensive. A fusillade of arrows soared towards the dragon to serve as a distraction, the female Dragoon's own blue attack following close behind. The arrows found their marks, some digging into flesh, some bouncing off of the dragon's frozen scales. The blue X of Louveria's attack had a more penetrating effect, nearly knocking the dragon out of the sky. Its long tail dipped into the sea, but it regained its composure and floated back up. Shortly after the attacks, Palamecia took the sky and became a great golden dragon. She soared into the sky and looked to be preparing to dive down upon the white dragon.
xxxxxLouveria made her way over to the Drakengard and greeted them, red flames escaping her mouth. The three of them bowed respectfully, but it was Ark that spoke for them. "It appears so," he agreed. "We'll try not to get in your way, Dragoon." They looked to the ice dragon, which was making its way to the aft end of the ship. "Barioth can move quickly and attack wildly, so keep that in mind. And mind the tail." The Drakengard moved aft as the Barioth landed, causing the aft end of the ship to sink into the water and the forward end to pop out of the waves. The Barioth let out a piercing roar to cause the sailors to drop their weapons and cover their ears. The Drakengard waited for its cry to die down before splitting up, the two Lancers moving to the port and starboard sides, Ark maintaining his stance in the middle. The Barioth lunged for him, swiping with a quick, cat-like paw. Ark jumped backwards, maintaining his distance between himself and the Ice Tusk Wyvern. The male Lancer jumped forward in turn, bypassing the forward-moving claws and stabbing at the wyvern's side for a quick piercing attack. The female Lancer chose to jump upwards several feet, spinning in the air and diving down onto the retracted arm, her lance stabbing into the Barioth's scales. Undeterred, the Barioth lunged forward again, this time aiming to bite Ark. He couldn't back up much further without putting the others in danger, so he dove forward and revealed his Dragon Fang sword. The broad side of the weapon was used as a shield, blocking across the two oversized fangs and keeping Ark out of the bite radius. He turned his weapon so that the edge was now placed against the fangs, then slashed across the teeth before jumping skyward and landing on the ruined Crow's Nest. He would need a good moment to dive back down again, but for now the two Lancers were keeping it busy. The male Lancer ran in circles around the Barioth, even as its wide sweeping tail cut down the ship's lifelines and smashed against some cargo left topside, and made jabbing attacks where he could to keep its attention. The female Lancer jumped from her spot on its arm to its back and mounted it, causing the wyvern to bellow and thrash about. Every time it calmed down, she stabbed it repeatedly with a skinning knife she had on her person, slowly whittling down its health.
xxxxxThis combination of attacks resulted in the Barioth stumbling over its own legs and falling onto its side, the female Lancer falling off of its back but quickly getting up. Ark jumped skyward once more and dove down, slamming the tip of his Dragon Feather against the Barioth and sensing the resounding kinetic energy pulse through its whole body. Despite the large amount of damage done to it within a few seconds, the Barioth recovered and roared, entering a rage state. It swung its tail at the three Lancers, all of whom ducked under the attack and jumped back to prepare for its next counterattack. Instead, the Barioth flapped its wings and began to take off.

xxxxxThe man smirked at Val's confidence. "That's quite the confidence you have there," he said casually. "But don't throw that challenge out there just yet. I don't know if you've done a read of the room, but I'm sure there's at least one person in this tavern who could very well kill you for that bow if it amused them so, and we can't have that. We just met." He drank a little more, then drank the rest of his flask. "Ah, what a shame to be devoid of drink, don't you think? The world would be a tad less cruel if we could change such a fate." He gently slid a finger against the side of the flask, and it seemed to weigh just a little more heavily in his hand. He placed the flask back to his lips, and drank again of a replenished fluid that was as of yet unknown to his table companion. "Good thing we don't have to worry about that, right?"
xxxxxThe man sat forward, apparently ready to talk business. "Now, the job I have in mind isn't exactly a difficult one from your viewpoint as it is mine. I am currently investigating the exotic pet shop of Maldria. It has all kinds of animals that have never been seen before, but there are rumors that the seller gets these pets through...well, less than reputable means, which ends up in some people disappearing from the town, if you get my drift." He grinned widely, then took another drink. "I'm really interested in this because there's this girl I know - " The man stopped and laughed shortly. "Look at me, doing all this for a girl. I know, most entertaining stories either start with a girl or a good drink in hand. But I'm getting off topic."
xxxxxThe man's emerald eyes lit up. "Anyway, she's gone missing, and I have reason to believe that she may have fallen prey to this exotic pet shopkeeper. Or wizard. Rumor has it he's a wizard." He pulled out a scroll and rolled it out on the table, revealing it to be a map of a building. "So...I'm going to meet with this shopkeep or wizard or whatever and inquire into his goods. I need you to sneak into the building and scope it out, find out what you can, and give me cover fire while I sneak in from a different area and search for my girl." He pulled out two identical gems, each entwined with a braided string necklace. "We'll communicate through these. Yes, they're kinda sketchy and put-together-at-the-last-minute-ish, but they work."

|| Val Martingale || "The world is a dangerous place, it does a man good to be even more dangerous."
|| Location: Shield's Tavern || Company: None || Mood: Hungry, Alert, Curious ||

Val watched the man across from him drink the contents of the flask in his hand, and with a simple gesture, refill it with liquor. Noting, as well, the almost dismiss-able flash through the other's green eyes. He wasn't impressed by the show of magic, if that was the end goal, however it did pique his curiosity further. It was turned ahead even further when he began discussing the nature of the job, it did seem rather easy, almost too easy in fact, but what's life without risk, and promise of reward? Val's coin purse was beginning to lack in content, so he decided to go along with this stranger's plans and maybe pick up something interesting along the way. "Perhaps there is, but I have yet to encounter anyone brave, or stupid enough to try. I'll join you for this task, but I expect to be paid for it. You'll find that Nir-Anin and I are quite capable. Val replied to the other while he pulled a waterskin from his pack beside him and took a drink. "While we're discussing it, I have come to understand that there is a book in existence, a catalogue if you will, with details on many ancient, and powerful magical artifacts. I hold but one page, and an incomplete one at that, that I found in the same foul hole I found my bow in. I seek the rest of the book, or at least the pages detailing the history, and magika bound to my weapon. Have you heard of such a tome?" Something told Val that this strange man held a vast wealth of information regarding magical tomes and items, and from his experience, information like that didn't come cheap, or easy.

The page Val mentioned sat safely inside of his pack, with only a few lines of text and following illustrations detailing the use and effect of calling on the magic in his bow. Lightning, Lume, and Mist, called upon by uttering words of power before loosing the arrow, three enchantments with three very specific uses, Lightning to kill, Lume to bring light, and Mist, to conceal, the enchantments had served Val well over the course of his short time with the bow, lending themselves well in battle and trekking across the land, if there was more to be learned about Nir-Anin, this sentient, almost human weapon, then Val was determined to unlock it's secrets. Of course, she was silent now, not that she made a habit of speaking into Val's mind on the regular basis, but often enough to be considered good company. The bow had made it quite clear that Val would have to discover the potential of the weapon through natural means, that she would not make it easy on him to learn everything there was to know about her. Where's the fun in learning, if the answers are given to you? No, even if I wanted to, I could not for I remember very little of what I am capable of. My thoughts are distant and cloudy, as if the memories are there, but just out of reach... Nir-Anin had explained in the first few days of Val having found the bow. Part of his questing goals from then forward had been to find a way to restore the memories of the sentient weapon, believing that the small slots located above and below the grip, which had been fabricated with a locking gold slide that rotated clockwise to reveal small gems, to be part of the matter of her missing memories, as only four of the twelve slots were filled, three of which reacted to the words of power on the torn out half page of text and picture that Val had recovered along with the bow. During his travels, he made it a point to seek out the remaining eight stones, and restore his partner's mind.

xxxxxThe man stared at Val from behind his flask, the metal touching his lips but not raised enough to allow any liquid to touch him. "How about," he said as Val brought up the subject of payment once again, "I pay you a little in advance, hmm? As a token of faith." He reached under the table, just out of view, and withdrew his hand back to the top of the table. The man placed down a small chest and placed a finger to the lock. Nothing seemed to happen, but an invisible lock could be heard sliding out of place, and the chest opened up to reveal a small cache of silver coins. "Two hundred Alliran silver coins," he said, "currently valued at three hundred coppers apiece. You'll get the rest - another two hundred Alliran silvers - when we get the girl and get out. I'll even throw in a Distal onyx, to sweeten the deal." It was an absurdly high amount of gold for such a simple job, so either the whole thing was a trap or the danger was real enough to try to gather anyone with an eye for money and enough self-confidence not to question things further.
xxxxxThe man glanced at the enchanted bow strapped to Val's back, his eyes betraying some form of recognition. "I may have some contacts who can find out information about your mystery weapon," he answered. "While I can't guarantee success on bringing you the tome, I'm certain they can at least point you in the direction of some people who would know about it or the bow." Trying to play things off as casually as he could, the man took a swig of his drink and leaned back, then stared at the reflection off the silver flask at the people in the room - or, rather, the vampires in the room that did not give off any reflection. The white haired lass would likely be a key source, but he couldn't reveal that here. It would spoil the chase.
xxxxx"Well," the man said, closing up his flask and putting it away in his pocket, "if we're in agreement, we should get going. Wouldn't want the shop getting destroyed in the wake of the demon attacks and all." He stood up and walked towards the door, tipping his fedora towards the tavern manager, Lacie, and the God of War, Iless. Even if they did not see him, it would have been discourteous to not acknowledge their presence. He stopped at the the door, hand caressing the doorframe, and smiled back at Val. "Oh, and while we're on the subject of working together, I suppose I should share my name with you, Val Martingale." His emerald eyes shone, as if watching him through a chartreuse green lens.
xxxxx"My name is Laito. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Little Gale."

|| Location: Shield's Tavern || Company:Laito || Mood: Wary, but Confident ||

Val kept his face flat, unreadable to most, when the stranger produced a small chest full of silver coins, a very lucrative offer. Unsettling as it was, that he would offer this much coin for such a simple mission, Val weighed the risks in his mind carefully before deciding that he would likely be able to detect any foul play early enough to make a hasty retreat. Also unsettling, was the fact that this man across from him would produce such payment in a very public setting, where any number of patrons might decide that they needed the coin badly enough to pick a fight. Mulling over his own thoughts again, Val solidified his acceptance, while a subtle chuckle filled his mind, a familiar teasing from Nir-Anin who had often taken advantage of Val's indecisive thoughts at his expense. It could be a trap, or any number of undesirable things, but if demons are involved then I would implore that you take this strange man up on the offer, I thirst for demon blood. Nir-Anin interjected, taking Val's mind off track for a moment.

He nodded, and took the chest of coins from the table, slipping it into his pack. This will suffice for now, though I assume I am free to help myself to whatever curio I may find along the way? Val said offhandedly as he picked up Nir-Anin from the table while the man, now known to him as Laito, made to leave. Val was slightly taken aback by the man's knowledge of his name despite him not recalling ever giving it to him, or even being known in this region. That alone, piqued Val's curiosity even more and set his mind to thinking that Laito could be a very good ally, or a very dangerous enemy. In the interest of self preservation, Val hoped for the former. You seem to have some interesting talents Laito. Perhaps we can discuss them sometime, but after the job is completed. Your offer is accepted, but I pray that your intentions are as you have said they are.

Convinced

Tahlia Winters

Tahlia would narrow her eyes somewhat at the silver haired woman when she said that about Hush. Who did she think she was!? She seemed to remember her but Tahlia for the life of her couldn't remember who she was, the girl assumed they met at one point but the woman was too insignificant for her to remember. She would then look down at Hush who spoke, of course Tahlia quickly assumed he wanted this to be said to her "How about you kiss my ******** fluffy a** you stupid, ugly cu....huh?" she paused and looked down at Hush "I wasn't supposed to repeat that...? Those were naughty words!?" She quickly covered her mouth "Sorry!" Tahlia said in a genuinely apologetic tone. She would then turn to the man when he began speaking and decided to translate what he said since Druid language and all that "Um....Don't threaten kids....leave and seek shelter with loved ones...but if you want to fight I'll fight you...." she'd repeat after Hush as he translated the man for her. Meanwhile Tahlia pointed at the man, letting the silver haired woman that she was translating for him.

''I serve myself before all

◉ Klonus blinked a few times as he recalled something, he over looked when he saw the vampire woman. The flower coming form the woman eye socket hey blinked a few times before finishing off the moon wine. He regarded the youngster with node and a smirk as she said she would protect them. ''Maybe'' he said in a whisper as he set the glass down, he was the type who tried not to underestimate anyone big or small male or female etc. Xago had not return and the man respected the Orc even more for doing, so maybe he would share some news when he came back. ''I hope you're having more fun than I'am'' he said looking at his empty glass, he heard another person enter the tavern. Klonus turn and saw a man dressed in attire, he never seen before just like the vampires. Interesting looking ''catz'' kept coming in here by the minute and the Demi-God was secretly hoping a Tavern brawl would break out.

◉ A brawl just to beat back the creeping boredom. He took note of Zuki leaving down to the cellar only guessing what she was up to.The man looked all around him thinking to himself '' No use sitting here bored might as well liven up the place but what song? he thought to himself. The tavern was indeed filling up with people it seemed to the Demi-God appropriate it have a musician. Yes something the people can enjoy and feel secure even though a demon loomed in the courtyard. The Demi-God did feel a ting of regret for leaving the area, so soon but he had faith the protectors of this kingdom could protect themselves. Reaching into his magical-sack he pulls forth his golden flute once more and stood up taping his metal hand on the bar table as he left it. Kolonus wore a calm smile upon his face as he made his way to stage and began to play a song.

◉ Using both his hands his Zodiac-Metal arm could be seen showing the many constellations and resembling a night sky full of stars. Once again the amazing flute imported a song into his mind and form there, he played it without missing a beat. As he played the power of the flute literally provided him with a back instrument. Although none could be seen it could be heard and the effects of the flute spread throughout the tavern. It gave the tavern a homely atmosphere more,so then it already had all are welcome here feel. Klonus played the flute with his eyes closed shut, he seemed in deep and calm focus intone with the flute.

Lion's Pride

OCC: Best description I could give for his arm would have to be silver surfer skin, but instead of silver constellations and night time skies in ''arm'' form and...metal.

xxxxxLaito led the way outside, exposing a small but bright lantern attached to his belt despite the sunny day. As he moved, sunlight seemed to not touch his skin, but was instead pulled into the lantern. It was an easily concealed thing, but noticeable to someone like Val. Rather than explain it or attempt to conceal it, however, Laito paid it no mind and continued to walk in a nondescript direction. He walked several blocks down and turned a corner, then came to what appeared to be a closed down residential flat. From the outside, it looked like any other piece of temporary housing, but it managed to stand out by the pockmarked brickwork that seemed to be in disrepair and relatively dark exterior. Even the door into the complex had been barred shut, a thick metal lock bearing the seal of the Black Brigade denying entry. From the one available window, however, the interior told a completely different story.
xxxxxLaito turned to Val and smiled. "Here is where we part ways," he said. "Find another way inside, and keep an eye out, yes? See what you can find?" He placed a hand on the window and pushed it open, the lock on the other side seeming to unlock at his touch. He crossed through the window into the room, then closed the window and locked it once more. When he reached the center of the room, a harlequin appeared from the back room. The blue figure came into view rather silently, but Laito turned in his direction and grinned. "Ah, there you are," he said patiently. "The great and noble Quinn, seller of all things mystical. What a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
xxxxxUnlike Laito, Quinn seemed uninterested in a normal response. He stomped over to the desk, his boot steps no longer muffled, and sat down in the chair. Laito started to speak, but the harlequin held up a knife. He stabbed it into the desk. Then he held up a second knife and stabbed it next to its partner. He repeated the process with a third knife before crossing his arms. "Good morning, Laito," he said deeply, his voice either masked or unnatural. "It appears that fate has brought us together for the sole purpose of a single transaction. I will tell you now, I have performed my daily divination and know what you are here for, even when you do not. We will make a deal, you will pay me, and I shall give you what you want."

xxxxxThe poacher wheezed and coughed as he ran through the Wildlands, absolutely certain that the female hunter that was tracking him was likely right behind him and would definitely cut him down the moment he reached the others. He couldn't stop, not even if he died of exhaustion, not even if he collapsed in front of the others. Getting hunted by a human was completely different than getting hunted by a beast. No, she wasn't human. No human could fight and kill five others the way she did. The best thing that could be done would be to just give up the hunt and rescind the mission. The others would understand. They had to.
xxxxxA pair of red eyes shined out from the underbrush, causing the poacher to stop in his tracks. His boss had found him. Good, this would make things easier. The head poacher stepped out from behind a tree, her pet following her. "Yvette," the male poacher said, "I've got someone tailing me. She took out the others, spouting some nonsense about us hunting things to extinction! I think she's crazy! We gotta leave!"
xxxxxYvette fondly stroked the feathers on her bow, listening to her subordinate blabber on about the things that his pursuer could do. Behind her, the Nargacuga was perfectly still listening for the pursuer's approach. "Then go ahead," she said finally. "Warn the others. Escape. I will buy time." The male poacher nodded and took off like a banshee through the trees, finding a second wind. Yvette moved a few feet forward, following the trail that the male poacher had taken. If this pursuer was as good as described, then she would be passing through this direction. This would be the ideal place to strike. Yvette removed a metal disc from her field pouch and placed it on the ground, whereupon it automatically turned on and hummed faintly. It was a Shock Trap, normally designed for temporarily paralyzing prey and allowing for easy hits and capture. She tinkered with the settings to go off when smaller, more humanoid creatures came within its proximity, taking care not to set it off on herself or the Nargacuga. Large bombs were placed around the Shock Trap, hidden behind tree trunks, and the general trap was set. With a motion of her hand, the Nargacuga retreated to its hiding spot within the underbrush, and Yvette jumped up into the trees above for a better vantage point. She went through her assortment of arrow coatings and picked one that would be just right for this situation - a specialized paint coating that would allow tracking of the marked prey for a duration of ten minutes. More than enough time to end this.

Convel Lyall

Convel had simply wandering around the kingdom for a bit since his first ever lady friend left him by his lonesome. From that experience he felt more confident to approach and try and befriend another girl, however the next one he'd spoken to slapped him clean across the face when he leaned in to get a better smell of her scent. That did it for him, he'd gotten lucky once and he wasn't about to push his luck again. From that point on he'd went into his wolf form since nobody seemed to want to hit him then.
Although there weren't many people out now due to all this fighting that seemed to be going on everywhere. Eventually Convel had stumbled upon another fight happening between a group of four people which peeked his interest for a few moments. Normally Convel avoided fights but when in his wolf form he tended to be more in tune with his canine instincts and at that moment there was only one thing that went through his mind with all these orbs floating back and forth
"Arf!! "Play!!

Suddenly the wolf would come out from his spot and bolt right towards the group of four, first stopping at Constantine and getting on his hind legs and pawing at the front of his armor
"Arf Ruff!!" Play!! Shiny play! he would then quickly run over to Milo and paw at his leg, letting his tongue lull out the side of his mouth as he tilted his head, his tail wagging excitedly. Convel would then trott up to Jordan and stand as tall as he could to reach the floating mans legs, purposely avoiding Aliyah "Arf Arf!! RUFF!" Oh come on! Playy! Suddenly Convel turned his head and saw the red orb behind Constantine and suddenly sat down staring at the orb, paws laid out in front of his as all his focus was on the orb Ball..... the wolf silently thought to himself as suddenly all focus was now on the "Ball"

In all honesty she had a lot more questions she wanted to ask, but she kept silent thinking and over thinking everything. Her mind was in scrambles and it was due to the conversation between the strangers. ‘Gathering their Champions. House of Red Wing in Baston. A war at Dragon Castle.’ And it was true, they could have used Serban and the Overseer as leverage, but that isn’t what they did. She was so absorbed in her thoughts that it took her mind a moment to register that Ichka was talking to her. Her voice was filled with worry she didn’t want her to go with them, they couldn’t be trusted. She turned to look at Ichka and gave her a small smile “That’s why you shouldn’t come. If it is a trap at least you wouldn’t be caught in it. If you were to come the best I can do is heal and defend you,” She looked back at the 3 standing in front of them ‘Please forgive me if this is a foolish choice everyone’ she straightens her posture. “I will help you,” her facial features went from being concerned and confused to serious. If someone needed help getting better she would not turn away. That is what her people have taught her and where her morals lie, even if the majority now would find it so naïve and stupid. That was her way of living as a healer.

All is lost, hope remains and this wars not over. There's a light. There's the Sun, taking all the shattered ones.

`·.¸¸.♡║ ‘They all clearly want to die. Why not give them what they so desperately seek’? Amara wasn’t at all impressed with the man’s little show, however, she didn’t like the fact that he was reading a weapon even more so that little stomp on the ground. She looked back at the small child as her mouth spewed such foul language, which was actually comical to Amara. “He should really do what his name implies and hush-up, before I tear his a** in half” she glared at both the child and bunny in annoyance.

“Do you understand what he is saying?” she mumbled to herself.

‘Perhaps. I mean I’m sure somebody in here does’ the voice laughed.

“Cut the crap! Do you or do you not understand, She pointed over to the girl, more towards the rabbit “Cause that little s**t seems to know. Or are you saying that your worth is less than that,” she crossed her arms under her chest as the voice in her head let out a low snarl.

‘He is speaking Druidic. I’m not a linguistic major. I take souls for a living’ he went silent after that statement. Amara only rolled her eyes and shook her head. Giving her attention back to the misfits.

“Them being threaten is the least of their concerns, I’ve done…much worse to children and even unspeakable things to adults.” The woman sighed and pointed at the man before she pointed at her foot that was now stomping the ground causing the concrete to crack into pieces below her. The red in her iris seemed to move, the color swaying like a fire in the wind and her pupils morphing into slits. She watched them all so carefully as though she was reading information about them that was scripted on to them. Her fight was with that girl who was clearly taking advantage of the situation. The caveman was not her enemy, but he sure as hell was making it hard not to see him that way. I mean, she could just trap him and take the girl’s soul so that she wouldn’t cause any trouble. In fact, she would leave peacefully after that. She might have an idea that. She extended her hand out to the man and hoped that her hand gesture to stop was something he familiarized himself with. Amara walked off and out of sight for less than a minute. The woman returned with a small table, setting it between her and the man “Tell him we arm wrestle for victory,” Amara pointed at the man as she looked at the raven haired child. Probably not the wisest thing to ask her for, but either way she placed her elbow on the table.
