She pried open the doors to the female dorm house, stepping into the familiar smell of perfume and laundry detergent. The doors closed behind her with a heavy clunk to which she jumped a bit, startled by the sound but laughing it off like always. Some things didn't change. As she made her way down the hallway to her old dorm, she passed a group of girls who practically sneered at the sight of her, laughing to themselves as the passed Harvey and continued walking. Was Harvey like that when she was student? Was any student like that when she attended KKA? She couldn't remember. In fact, most of her school days attending school were a blur, was she preppy? A geek? It didn't matter now, she'd became a master, accomplished her ultimate goal, but even still, she felt empty. Something was still missing, and she couldn't place what.

106, 107, 108. . . . . Harvey noted mentally to herself as she walked down the crescent shaped hallway, turning the corner and finding her old dorm room, 109 nestled tightly between two windows. She cracked a smile at the door, finding coming back to it, after all this time, a bit sentimental. She managed to choke off the knot in her throat as she removed the key Eclipse gave her and inserted it into the door, turning the lock over slowly and stepping inside.

Upon stepping inside Harvey flicked the light switch on the wall, the overhead lights blinked on for a moment, and then quickly burnt out after years of unuse. She sighed gently to herself, shut the door firmly behind her, and locked it. Harvey quickly summoned her keyblade, held it vertically and spoke a simple word "Faith." and as she did a swirl of white light enveloped her body in a beautiful aura of shimmering brightness, and with a simple upward motion of her keyblade the light moved to the ceiling, encircling the burnt out light above Harvey and illuminating her dorm in a dense glow. The magic would work for as long as she subconsciously focused on it, a trick she had learned in the Dark World. A trick among many she had learned.

Harvey released her keyblade from her hand and it quickly desummoned in the same flash of brilliance it appeared in, with the added light she was able to explore her small room, finally able to reminisce over days of old.

A small mirror in the corner of the room held pictures of her and her friends; Chase, Eric. They were all there, stuck tightly into the frame of the mirror, so tightly in fact that Harvey's reflection was barely able to bounce back at her, covered in the memories of old friends that had withstood the test of time. Next to this was her desk, complete with her old laptop that she hoped still worked, she had a lot to catch up on, next to this was a vase of flowers that had long since wilted against the test of time. Harvey found it funny, that it almost represented her. Life went on, and she was the flowers, dead and forgotten. She thought this morbid and quickly removed the thoughts from her head. Of course people still remembered her...or did they? She couldn't bring herself to think of this now. Harvey had just barely returned, and she was already letting her nerves get the best of her.

She moved to her dresser and quickly removed a comfortable shirt and one of her old pairs of jeans, praying slightly that they still fit, though Harvey doubted she grew too much in three years, most women stop growing in their late teens, and Harvey definitely was no longer a teenager. With clean clothes in hand, she removed a towel from another drawer and quickly stepped into the bathroom, dropping the clothes on the closed toilet seat and reaching in to turn on the shower head.

The pipes groaned momentarily from lack of use over the years, but within seconds the water sprayed, cleared, and she could feel the heat rise out past the curtain. Harvey turned towards the mirror, dusted off its surface with her forearm and took a moment to examine her features, which had become more pristine with age, despite the time spent in the darkness. She wondered how long it had been since she saw herself, truly saw herself, and she was saddened to see that she hadn't changed much despite how many challenges she had faced along the way. The only difference she could note was that her face was more slender, it had lost it's roundness and she looked more adult, and of course her hair was shorter, having been haphazardly cut with a dull blade on a whim. After a few minutes of examining herself, and ignoring the heat of the water, she quickly stripped down and stepped into it, letting the water wash her clean.
