The fallen leaves were damp with morning dew and one wolf sat reclining amongst them. The dying leaves clung to her dark fur as her eyes peered out from the shadows of the grove she resided in. This was her favorite spot in the entire park, just a short ways from the pond. The cool, moist area made it the best spot for mushrooms to grow in the park and Tendril was always interested in seeing what new ones had popped up.

Being covered in decaying plant matter always made her feel like she was at home in her makeshift garden. She had a special room in her apartment dedicated just to growing her mushrooms. The wolf had even gone out of her way to get an infrared bulb so she could see in the dark, humid room. The earthy smells always relaxed her and the different mushroom caps were so cute!

Brushing the leaves off her fur, Tendril toddled over to the collection of the wild growing fungi. With a soft grumble she prodded at the toadstools, reciting each of the names she had given them as she hovered over them. The milk cap on the left was Todd and the button mushroom next to the tree was Stacy...

Ah ha ha, I am the first to post an RP in here and i have no idea what i'm doing.

A lone dragon padded through the park, a 3DS tight in his hands as he wandered the path. He often came here to unwind, usually after rescuing Pepper from some sort of dangerous activity. His hands clicked away at the console, tail flicking behind him in a gentle rhythm, sweeping away damp leaves.

He wasn't paying attention to his surroundings, something not uncommon for the small dragon. He often was either lost in thought or his games. That, or when his insomnia was particularly fierce he would find himself in a haze. So, it wasn't a surprise when he found himself somewhere he hadn't been before. The sound of muttering caught his attention, head lifting slightly as he dragged his eyes from the screen, blinking them against the abrupt change in visuals. Slowly, he spotted a lone wolf, his tail twitching absently behind him as he lowered his 3DS.

"Hello?" He called faintly. Perhaps he was intruding, but he was genuinely curious what the wolf was doing.

Tendril froze in place, tail straight up behind her as she remained bent over a oyster mushroom she had named Pearl. The look of shock on her face was rapidly replaced with embarrassment over having been caught talking to the park's mushrooms. Slowly, the wolf straightened up, the movements forced and stiff. Her yellow irises peered out of the darkness of her form towards the stranger as she clasped her paws together.

"Hello," she managed to squeak, nervously fidgeting with her hands as she shuffled in front of the mushrooms in an attempt to block them from view. Maybe if the dragon didn't see what she had been talking to he wouldn't think her quite so strange. She couldn't help herself when it came to Toadstools! They were such fun guys!

"Did- Did you just get here? It's, um, very nice out today."
