The City on a River, Vaulksburg


It is a midsized Renaissance city on the Kolva River which flows into Lake Aleca. The city is situated on two tightly squeezed small strips of land on either side of the Kolva River in the middle of hills known as the Vaulksburg Range. The city is divided into four sectors. This method gives the city a quite orderly structure with all creatures living in harmony... Or so that was the plan. THe city has its occasional race riots over power.


Downtown City Sector: the main happenings with riverfront stores on both sides of the river, museums and art galleries. The magnificent City hall building stands on the right side of the Kolva decorated completely of marble. The Main bridge that connects the two side of the city is located here, known as the bridge of Unity.

Altran DIstrict: The district of the mainly wealthy class towards the left side of the river exclusively claiming all the remainder of land. canals and small unique alleys crisscross the sector.

Middleton Upper Commons: The commoners live in peace on the right side of the river behind city hall. It is common to see street vendors on the roads selling goods from towns far away.

The Shanties: as the land begins to incline and you can see the beginning of the hill, The Shanties come into view. The houses are made of wood and are general built into the side of the steep hills to protect residents from weather. There is much crime in this area.

Vaulksburg Range and Kolva River Valley:
The area surronding Vaulksburg where farms and forests on rolling hills expand for miles and lush river valleys with quaint houses abide. However the one problem plaguing this area are dragons who live on top of these large hills.
