Selene couldn't move. She could barely breathe and it seemed like her heart had just completely stopped beating. She stood so still that she was nearly like a statue. She probably looked terrified to see Lilith, even in chains. After what had happened, who could blame her? This moment passed quickly. When Lilith spoke up to her, saying her name. Just like that, her heart was beating again, pounding away like it was trying to escape her rib cage. She gasped softly, attempting to scramble back up the steps without taking her eyes away from the woman. She didn't even get one more up, as she didn't lift her foot high enough. Her heel caught on the edge. Her balance had already shifted as she moved herself backwards, causing her to fall. Her hands grasped at the wall to try to catch herself, but she failed to get any sort of grip on the smooth stone. A quiet yelp escaped her as her butt landed on the stairs and she slid down that last step to the bottom. She didn't yet notice the teeny tiny dragon, even with its attempt at being threatening. All of her attention was more focused on Lilith.

Lilith's attention went back to the little dragon, only because she was embarrassed that she had been seen like this... like a caged animal. Well, in a way she was caged....The woman kept her gaze averted until Selene made the wrong move and fell down. Lilith immediately moved to help the girl as she fell, however her chains prevented her from getting far. As the chains rattled she knew that the girl was going to be frightened and Lilith quickly retreated back to the corner. I-im sorry!! A-are you ok? Are you hurt? she asked showing concern from her corner.

Tiny Dragon

The little lizard continued its threat display, even though it went unnoticed, practically the whole of its underbelly know glowed a warm orange while thin wispy trails of white smoke leaked from the corners of its mouth. Slowly it started to stalk forwards toward Selene, intent on defending its hoard at all costs. The moment of its attack finally arrived when Selene stumbled and fell to the bottom of the stairs, its instincts screaming, It's vulnerable!, while the tiny dragon launched itself into the air. Quick as a dart it dove straight at Selene and latched onto a bit of her clothing with impossibly small, needle like teeth and started to violently shake its head back and forth. In short order the puny thing was able to rip a small chunk out of the girl's coat, it spat out said chunk then latched onto her coat once again to repeat the process. The residual heat from its fiery innards would also quickly come into play as the area it had landed on would soon start to smoulder from the unexpectedly intense heat.

Selene didn't initially make any move to get up once she reached the bottom of the stairs. It was a short fall, but falling onto stone steps and then sliding down even a few would have to leave one's butt feeling.. Sore. Unbidden tears began to well up again in her eyes, coming once more against her will. Crying around other people.. Especially in front of the woman who had caused most of her trauma.. That was so shameful! Unfortunately, she wouldn't have long to try to regain her composure. Suddenly she felt something hit her Something tiny.. And alive?! She let out a shriek at the small animal that was currently tearing pieces out of her coat and began to frantically try to knock it away, practically flailing in her attempts.

Tiny Dragon

With vicious serrated teeth, and tiny sharp claws, the little lizard continued to tear out small pieces of Selene's outfit, itty bitty bite by itty bitty bite. Within practically no time at all a sizeable gash had been gnawed and clawed out to reveal bare flesh beneath. With instincts on overdrive the dragon snapped its jaws shut, its tiny teeth pierced Selene's skin and almost immediately the wound started to weep. Just then a stray swipe from the flailing girl connected with the teeny terror, across the room it flew until it smacked against a cold stone wall with an audible *smack*. To the floor it fell as though a rock and landed in a heap of scales and leathery flesh, it did not move to stand or show even the slightest sign of life. Blood trickled from its limp jaws but it was impossible to say if the lifes blood was the dragon's or Selene's...

She tried to move to the stairs where the girl fell, but the chains prevented this. When she noticed the little dragon take a small nibble into Selene's flesh, she tried hard to get to the girl, her chains were tight and digging into her skin. No! Leave her alone!!! Leave her alone bit me!!! Lilith was useless as she tried to get to the girl and get the dragon away. So desperate that there was blood now coming from her wrists.
