Hey there! So Two-sided and Empty Promises had some babies and one of them needs a home!

That would the buck on the far right the uh not so brightly colored one

To win him, you just have to use the form and come up with a name and a naming story for him <3

Proposed name: Band Together
Story: He shuffled his hooves in growing irritation. The bickering around him was getting on his nerves. They had a mutual journey to make, foes to engage with. Incessant arguing splitting the group was just delaying them further. Staying silent so long made him seem complacent. Who knew how long it would go on if he kept his mouth shut?

He exhaled out his nose, then stomped his hoof down. In the startled silence, he pushed his voice to go as high as the trees. "Enough fighting! Leave it aside for now. Dark is approaching us! There is little time left. We must band together!"

Story: He liked to make grand gestures and offers to his comrades, though he was often too ineffective to follow through on such things. There came a time when danger came, and rather than flee in cowardice, he stood his ground, promising his body to protect those around him, firm in his belief he would not fall through this time. As it happened, he managed to follow through on his promise, and received the name Promised-self.

Story: He stared down at the foal, teeth grit and hooves dug deep into the earth. How many times had he told them to stay away? He didn't care if his den was right next to valuable herbs or not, he wanted to be alone — it wasn't that hard.

So he reeled his head back, locking his eyes on the small scout with a terrible frown. All he had to offer the child was two words; the only words anyone had heard him speak since he left his childhood behind. The only words he was known for.

"Go. Away."

Story: He'd been on a hunting and gathering venture with several others and they'd been returning with their haul. Plenty of meat berries and other things to make it so no one would have to go out for awhile.

The natural bridge they'd used on the way to their preferred hunting grounds, a large slightly rotted log crossing a chasm they couldn't jump was perfect when they left. When they returned late that night, they realized that the log was gone, and under the bright moonlight could barely make it out far below

The others were dismayed and wondered how they'd ever be reunited with their families but he was surveying, studying, formulating. He had an idea. One that was laughed at by the others, called stupid pointless, and hopeless. There was no way across they all said.

He took a small portion of the provisions they had, and he left, walking away without a word and they all wondered if he'd just given up and was going to leave them all there. They had no idea, and no one wanted to venture after him and ask.

Days passed, and he wondered if this had been the right direction when finally he found what he'd been hoping to see. A small, narrow tree crossing the chasm, and he slowly, tentatively walked across it, the slender wood bending beneath his weight but it holding till he was across. A relieved note from him was all he gave himself time for.

Now he had to trek back the way he'd come, and that was going to be days yet. Nearly a week passing before he finally made it back to his starting location and he could see the others where he'd left them.

Looking around he found a large fallen tree that would span the gorge, and he pressed his head to the end of it and pushed it towards the gap in the ground, and with care he bridged the gap, literally.

The others came across eagerly, and praised him for being brave enough to go the Long Way Around, and making it so they could all return to their homes, when all they could do was stay in place and despair.

Proposed name: Two-Faced
Story: For a race so honest and straightforward, a Totoma who doesn't always say exactly what he means stands out among the crowd. He tries to be a little too nice, to avoid hurting other's feelings and to be liked, but his real meaning has a way of seeping through. Most would chose to uphold the truth above all else, but when you try to... cushion it a little, make it a little more kind... you quickly get a reputation for being a little less than honest.
His name serves not as a declaration of some twisted or deceptive nature, rather a reminder that there are sometimes 2 sides to a point of view, a perspective kept hidden when a sentence is spoken, and that sometimes complements can be naught but empty words.
