Abilities:
> Crystal tears Born with the ability to cry tears that quickly solidified to crystals that looked quite similar to uncut diamonds or Swarovski crystals, Coralyn was considered rather special. Her tears could remain hard if the emotion behind them was true, but if they were merely of pain (from falling and hurting herself) or just fake, they would shatter like glass and eventually disappear, leaving no trace behind.
> Inflorescence Although the previous ability might suggest that she is narrowed down to a Stone nymph, with some ability to manipulate crystals(only an assumption, she can't manipulate crystals), Coralyn is true to her earthy element in terms that she can help flowers and plantation bloom. It could possibly be due to the requirement of Carbon by plants.
> Purification Like activated charcoal, her body naturally filters out negativity ranging from a polluted space or negative emotions. Although, as a passive ability, it is more of a reflex as well as one would believe it should and only works best with younger children as they don't usually hold mad grudges against other people.

Personality: Rather shy at first because of her inability to talk but once she's comfortable, she's rather fun and free with the person. She is pretty girly and grew up watching Disney movies, her favorite being "The Little Mermaid", as it relates to her own situation, she is somewhat easily love struck and imagines the world around her to be rather magical where good always prevails. Very expressive and emotional but tries her best to be brave. She has her endearing moments where she always leaves notes with little doodles of herself in the corner with the chibi giving an expression of how she feels at that moment. She's also quite an organized person and often keeps everything neat and tidy.
Bio: Born in an upper-middle-class family, first of the two daughters Mr. and Mrs. Dubois had named after her late grandmother, little Coralyn was quite an active, happy child with love towards anything and everything visually appealing. Every time her lips parted, one could expect a cheerful little laugh, a story, something completely random or just an excuse to talk. Being their first child, her parents never minded her too much although, often educated her about talking too much, to which the little nymph often gave a deaf ear to.
It wasn't very often that she cried, as a baby maybe quite a few times, but while she grew, not much. When she did though, her tears happened to solidify each time they weren't in contact with her face. This ability was definitely something they haven't ever seen themselves, yet they chose not to let many know of it as it would cause some unwanted attention from ones who weren't their kind. As much as they tried, people came to know and their happy little, trusting child was taken away by people with selfish desires. Her little ability might cause her to tear up gems, they only retained their form if they were from true emotions like sadness or despair, neither of which were a part of a child's life. Although, the men who held her captive didn't know of that and decided to take things a little further, especially with how noisy and talkative she was. To shut her up permanently, they forced a bottle of floor cleaner (acid) down her throat, burning her vocal chords instantly and damaging them but once she began to suffer and bleed, they decided to let her go so they weren't charged for killing a child, besides kidnapping her. By the time she was found, the damage was so bad they couldn't do anything to get her voice back. Her family was quite the support she needed, not to mention the rehabilitation she was put through. Rehab was where they initiated her interest in classical music in an attempt to pull her out of her dull state, back at home, she began to learn how to play the piano and violin and slowly, little Coralyn was reverting back to her cheerful little self..but her voice..
The lack of a voice to communicate made it hard to live a normal life. Sure she shifted to a school for special children, but what about when she was outside? When her sister's friends came over? Nothing felt right, she felt like something was wrong with her, she was told something was wrong with her and no one wanted to understand. It was about then when she discovered her favorite movie, "The little Mermaid." Now, she did love all sorts of fairy tales and movies related to them, but this one was just the one she needed! She forced herself to think that what happened to her was just a bad dream, the bad guys simply cursed her lovely voice and only a prince could break the curse, bring her voice back. This did arise quite a lot of awkward situations with boys at school and a few around her neighborhood. Childish as it may seem, she was very little back then and she might have grown out of it but a small part of her still liked to believe so.
She decided to be more acceptant of her condition and eventually, she decided to move out and try to live a normal life, maybe even see if a different place with different people, maybe even find people who would understand her better or her "Prince charming" like in the fairytale movies she watched.
