> Fire Manipulation: Hisako can create and control fire, from things as little as a fireball to a massive inferno. However as with any source of fire, she won't be able to make even an spark if doused with water. It also can be a bit uncontrollable if she's angry.
> Enhanced Strength: Hisako has incredible strength able to easily put a dent through steel and break wood with a punch and is able to lift between 800 and 900 pounds. Anymore than that and she risks injuring herself. She does have to be careful since sometimes she doesn't realize how much of her strength she's using and has a bad habit of breaking things.
> Enhanced Senses: Hisako's sense of sight, smell, taste and hearing are much stronger and precise than a normal person's. While it can be useful, it also means her senses are also more sensitive. So she could easily go into sensory overload and be incapacitated.

Personality: Hisako can come off as rather childish, stubborn and hardheaded at times but is generally friendly to most people. Though sometimes she can be a bit over-friendly and sometimes doesn't have much of a regard for personal space. Speaking of she's rather spacey, daydreams a lot and is very imaginative. She is an unapologetically highly mischievous, loud and rather destructive young lady who enjoys making trouble though does feel bad if she actually hurts someone. However despite that she is rather respectful of her elders, though this is more of a learned habit than something she really wants to do. Also a learned habit but not one she really minds is highly valuing strength and bravery in others. If she develops a crush on someone, she'll challenge them to some sort of competition or a fight to see how strong they are. Though this does lend into her rather simple and naive way of thinking since she had been raised to believe only someone able to best her would be able to be with her romantically, but she still thinks that she should be attracted to the person even if they do beat her. Of course she is still young and as such there is a chance to change her mindset. Especially since she really knows nothing about relationships outside of one's she's seen growing up. Speaking of her simpleness and naivety, Hisako is very easily entertained and impressed. She's borderline obsessed with any species that isn't an oni or any kind of demon since she hasn't had any real experience with them. She has quite a voracious appetite and can eat quite a lot of food for a girl her size. Persephone is the type of person who can quickly and easily get attached to people. Although one should take great care not to anger her as she can be quite the destructive force especially with her strength. It isn't unusual for her to leave behind a lot of broken objects during her destructive fits of rage. Though she does try her best to not to let her anger get the better of her as she really doesn't mean to hurt anyone. Really all Hisako wants is to be free and accepted.
Bio: Hisako was born the only child of the leader of a village hidden in the mountains which was a safe haven for oni and other demons. Unfortunately her mother died while giving birth to her so she was raised solely by her father. The village could be a bit old fashioned so she had a mix of modern and old school ideals. From a young age she was groomed to eventually take over as the village chief when her father passes. The various training exercises helped her to develop her control over fire as well as how to use her strength effectively. She had also noticed that her senses were a lot stronger that other people living in the village. Her father was loving and gave his daughter whatever she wanted. Though he was just a tad overprotective telling Hisako that leaving the village was dangerous which admittedly annoyed the girl to no end. She didn't know that her parents had been prosecuted by a nearby human settlement just because they were different. It was because of an attack which caused a fatal injury that had a part in killing her mother, though her father left that little detail out. Of course she said that not all humans feared their kind but he was adamant in his decision. Not that he didn't agree somewhat as he had met a few humans who were quite accepting of him and his wife. Still she loved her father with all her heart but as she got older she wondered what it was like outside the 'safety' of the village. So one day when she was 10 Hisako sneaked out and went to explore the surrounding forest. A little while into her trek she heard what sounded like crying nearby. Feeling a bit worried she followed the sound and came upon an injured kit. She felt bad for the little thing and gently picked it up to take home. Once she returned home she begged her father to let her help and keep the kit. Thankfully for her, he had a hard time telling her no and so relented and said yes. She was ecstatic and quickly went about treating her new pet's wounds. She also did a quick check to see if it was a boy or girl and after seeing that he was male she named him Ren. Over the next 6 years Hisako and Ren developed quite the strong bond with the fox becoming her most trusted confidant and also became just as overprotective as her father. Though she found it cute when Ren did it.
A little while after her 16th birthday Hisako had grown into quite the capable young woman. So her father announced one day that he wanted to find her a future fiancé. To that end he set a challenge, whomever could best her in combat would win her hand in marriage. Normally she wasn't one to argue or disagree with her dad but this time she had to speak up, she didn't want to marry some random person! But he had already made up his mind and knowing that they both shared a stubborn streak knew that it was futile to fight it. So she begrudgingly took part in the stupid competition. Luckily for her she was trained rather well in the art of combat and was able to easily dispatch the first couple challengers. Unfortunately her luck would soon run out as she was to face off against a water using demon man, Hayate. Since their respective elemental powers didn't mix she couldn't use her fire for long. So she chose to rely on her strength but surprisingly he was able to match her strength to the point where eventually he manged to find and weak spot and take her down. In all this time only one person had been able to take her down that being her father. And as the chief decreed Hayate and Hisako would be married once she came of age. Neither her nor Ren were happy about the situation and the fox would try to keep this man away from his precious owner. As the days passed and the two were basically forced to spend time together Hisako learned that her betrothed was a truly horrible person. He saw her as nothing more than a prize and didn't seem to care much about what she wanted. He just wanted to marry someone who had, or would soon hold, power. The worst part was that he would act all nice and chummy around her dad so that he wouldn't suspect anything. Hisako had been excited to be the next village chief but now all she wanted was to get far away from her home. For the first time in her life she would show rebellion towards her father. So after finding were the money that was going towards their future wedding way she stole it, packed a bag and ran away in the dead of night with Ren.
She and Ren wandered aimlessly for about two weeks until they were picked up by a traveling caravan of performers. She told the story of how she ended up on the road and the troupe felt for her. They told her that she could ride with them for a while which she was happy and grateful for, asking how she could pay them back. They didn't want her money but the leader did say that she could perform with them. She was more than happy to help out, putting her fire manipulation to good use. Along the way she was also taught how to do various acrobatic moves, finding that she was quite flexible. This went on for a couple months that is until she and the troupe became separated. She tried looking for them but was unable to find them. This left her and Ren alone and so back to wandering it was for the duo. Soon she ended up paying their way onto a boat. While on board Hisako would hear a couple speaking of a nice beach town. Curious she started up a conversation with them and they explained that they had met there and about a fruit that helped to find if two people were soulmates. The thought of finding someone that she actually loved was very tempting and maybe she could take them back to her home to meet her father and help her run the village. For now she'd just settle down and see what fate held in store for her.
